Just another example of our President treating our allies shabbily, while rushing to coddle our enemies in the misguided notion that they will respond to anything other than absolute strength, both militarily, of conviction, and of will.
(h/t Bob Reed)
Jew had a doubt? I knew he’d do this the first time he crowed about what a “great friend” Israel has been to the US.
The man’s a predictable liar.
Mazel Tov Bitches!
Seriously, when Axelrod and Rahm said the tribe would still support me over any GOP teabagger, I said “Hell yeah I will sell Israel down the river.”
Even I know I have to earn that Noble Prize and the only way to do it is to have the desert people shaking hands in the Rose Garden. I know what is best for the Israelis anyway.
Me? Nah.
I’m one of those Jews that doesn’t reliably vote Democrat, because I’m one of those Jews who is aware that the real liberals aren’t in the Democratic Party any longer.
Life didn’t stop at Goodbye, Columbus.
I guess Obama never read that page in the President’s Secret Book that says, “Never, never, under any circumstances piss off the people who can unleash the Mossad. Those fucker’s’ll do you a world of hurt.”
Expect Israeli political destabilization operations to commence in 5 … 4 … 3 …
My Jewish mother is finally coming around. She actually told me she misses W. Some older Jews are starting to remember how, growing up, their “extended” families were rather truncated. Thanks to our German friends. And they are starting to remember why formal statehood for Israel was regarded as a rather important endeavor back in the late ’40s. My younger brother on the other hand? He was one of those Covington lawyers working with Holder for “unlawful combatants.” Meh.
Really, don’t link the WH, poster.
Unless it’s ok, of course.
this puts all our allies on notice
Especially in Asia.
And Taiwan will have a new flag soon.
Babe I’m gonna leave Jew
… oh, baby, jew know I really got to leave jew …
From the NYT article:
…drawing an explicit link between the Israeli-Palestinian strife and the safety of American soldiers as they battle Islamic extremism and terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.
Hold on, I thought that in Obama’s administration “Islamic extremism” and “terrorism” were no longer operable terms. Well, when it comes to selling out our allies I suppose anything goes.
I’ll stop the world and melt the Jews.
Regards,
Mahmoud Ah-modernenglish-ejad
The sticky-out part of all this, to me, is the relatively high number of Jewish voters who still poll favorably with Obama. It’s a headscratcher, though not a settle issue by any means.
Thank you Mahmoud Ah-modernenglish-ejad, let me join you in harmonic dialog!
Moving forward using all my breath
Getting elected with you was never second best
I saw the world thrashing all around your place
Never really caring what about all the foolish waste
I’ll stop the world and melt the Jews
Palestianians will see the difference and
It’s getting better all the time
There’s nothing my administration won’t do
I’ll stop the world and melt the Jews
(You should know better)
Dream of better lives the kind which never hate
(You should see why)
Dropped in the state of imaginary grace
(You should know better)
I made a pilgrimage to save this human race
(You should see why)
Never comprehending a race that long gone by
(I’ll stop the world)
I’ll stop the world and melt the Jews
(I’ll stop the world)
You’ve seen the difference and it’s getting better all the time
(Let’s stop the world)
There’s nothing my administration won’t do
(Let’s stop the world)
I’ll stop the world and melt the Jews!
Anyone else remember Sarah Silverman’s “the Big Schlep”? You know why I’m bringing this up, right?
Oy vey. Or something along those lines.
[my emphases] This strikes me as a bald-faced lie. There hasn’t been an administration closer to the Israeli position than the Bush administration was. And it’s placed to give Obama cover.
The sticky-out part of all this, to me, is the relatively high number of Jewish voters who still poll favorably with Obama.
The funny thing about Jewish Americans is that they’re, you know, Americans.
So? America shouldn’t have a genuine ally in Israel?
Diaspora cultural identity is defined negatively against the local underclass. In America’s case, that’s “white trash.” Opposing Obama is white-trashy. Settled.
Thing is though Psycho, the needle is still moving toward an unknown equilibrium: the question to be answered, what equilibrium?
Israel is a bastion of what we once referred to as Western Civilization surrounded by Islamic dictatorships in various degrees. If it were picked up and shoved between, say, France and Italy, it would fit in politically as just another Parliamentary social democracy.
But because of its location, it is a splinter in the ass of Dar al-Islam, which explains why it is surrounded by a giant pockets of pus.
The sticky-out part of all this, to me, is the relatively high number of Jewish voters who still poll favorably with Obama. It’s a headscratcher, though not a settle issue by any means.
It’s not just relatively high, it’s really, really, really high. 77% last election. Perspective: Obama did quite a bit better with Jews than with gays last election!
Orthodox Jews vote 70%-80% GOP, we are told. Reformed and secular Jews, though, go 80% the other way. I’ve read theories that it’s protection from “Christianists” on the right or a remnant of backlash against Christian oppression and antisemitism. Also, Democrat policies are designed for economically-strapped urban populations, and Jews are 90-95% urban. McCain’s support in polls from Jews shrunk after religious-right-rural Palin was selected.
So? America shouldn’t have a genuine ally in Israel?
I don’t think a president’s handling of Israel is a make or break issue with most Americans, Jewish or otherwise.
“…a president’s handling of Israel is a make or break issue with most Americans…”
Oh, it will be when the region explodes in flames on direct account of a poor handling, as is going on right now. So you’ve contributed at least some insight into the poverty of your powers of perception. Thanks.
Oh, it will be when the region explodes in flames on direct account of a poor handling, as is going on right now.
In case you hadn’t noticed, the region is always in flames, sdferr.
The downside of letting drama queens lead you.
You don’t know flames moron. But I’m not surprised.
“I don’t think a president’s handling of Israel is a make or break issue with most Americans, Jewish or otherwise.”
Looks like we’ll be getting the chance to find out.
When sand turns to glass the evidence of fire will be a lasting reminder of real heat.
lots of little issues add up, “snooki.” You’ll see.
You don’t know flames moron. But I’m not surprised.
Rut Roh, have we drifted into eschatology here?
Isn’t drama queen actually a perfect description of Obama’s interactions with our (not his apparently) allies?
Which one is snooki again? Nothing says faith in one’s arguments like needing to constantly change handles.
“Rut Roh, have we drifted into eschatology here?”
So sympathetic a person as yourself should be capable of figuring out the difference, no?
Or are you another of those little creeps that gets off on the flames and can’t help but dancing a teeny jig at the sight? Oh, look! Bonfire!
The downside of letting drama queens lead you.
Drama queens lead us?
My irony meter just exploded, releasing enough heat to cause a rise in ocean-level that covered New York City and Los Angeles. People drowned while waiting for doctors who were busy cutting off kids’ feet and removing their healthy organs for profit. A raft of people did manage to land on Guam, which immediately capsized, killing all of them.

While you were writing that, though, 0.0428 people died because they didn’t have health insurance.
So sympathetic a person as yourself should be capable of figuring out the difference, no?
You’ll have to tell me sdferr.
Are you one of those people who think we can bring about the End of Days by spinning the Foreign Policy Rubik’s Cube just right?
“You’ll have to tell me sdferr.”
I don’t have to tell you shit asshole. Do some reading.
When one spins a “foreign policy Rubik’s Cube” it has to come up balloon fence sooner or later.
If we’re lucky.
I don’t have to tell you shit asshole. Do some reading.
I’ll infer from your response that you do believe America’s foreign policy can bring about the end of the world in a Biblical sense.
I don’t share that belief, but I can see why you think our handling of Israel is more important to you than it is to the average American.
I don’t share that belief, but I can see why you think our handling of Israel is more important to you than it is to the average American.
Israel bombing Iran or Hezbollah using the SCUD missles just shipped from Syria, and we’ll soon find out. My bet is that the average American will be directly effected if either of these senarios plays out. But YMMV.
“I’ll infer from your response that you do believe America’s foreign policy can bring about the end of the world in a Biblical sense.”
Then that conclusion serves to demonstrate that you’ve done no reading and that you’re still a moron. Adieu.
Saying mean things about Israel while continuing to give them aid == snubbing.
Putting sanctions against Iran == coddling.
What sanctions has Oblahblah placed on Iran, or did you mean “threatening to put sanctions against Iran?
“Are you one of those people who think we can bring about the End of Days by spinning the Foreign Policy Rubik’s Cube just right?”
Maybe you should be asking Ahmadi-Nejad those questions snooki. To an actual Christian, the notion you put forth is laughable:
“no one but the Father knows the day and the hour.” -Matt 24:36-
“the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.” -1 Thess. 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Rev. 3:3-
So your Alinsky tactic is revealed, as is too your lack of belief.
For faith tells us that the actions of no one but the Father can bring about the end of time. There are no verses regarding US foreign policy Rubic’s cubes…
But Ahmadi-Nejad believes that bring forth the 12th Imam by nuking Israel…
And here’s a clue for you snooki, we need to be handling Israel as respectfully as any of our staunch allies; a principle that the Obama administration fails to grasp; and you also by what you’ve argued.
Sure AJB, sure…
Just what sanctions has Obama imposed on Iran that weren’t already imposed? And what about his promise to prevent Iran from getting nukes on the campaign trail?
‘Cuz there’s a long list of snubs the Obama regime has inflicted on the Israelis. Oh, and the Congress provides aid to our allies, not the executive.
Which of our allies do you think America handles “respectfully,” Bob?
Europe? Japan? Mexico?
Do tell.
we did quite nicely with Australia and India and Israel and Poland and quite a number of countries really.
Until Barack Obama.
Which of our allies do you think America handles “respectfully,” Bob?
Honduras, Columbia, Czechoslovakia… oh wait. No, China, Venezuala…oh wait. Who are our allies again? You’ll have to ask The Won.
Evan Sayet makes the point that the word “Jew” is different from any other word used to describe adherents of a religion, because it also describes someone who happens to plop out of a Jewish uterus. He calls these people the “plopping Jews”, who indeed are strongly Leftist. Those who are religious Jews as well as ethnically are more likely to be conservative, however.
But the modern alignment is mostly social. Jews tend to live in urban areas, be well-educated and employed in white-collar occupations that put them squarely in the upper-income contingent of the modern Leftist sandwich. The other is the low-income, abysmally-educated person. These are the two natural constituencies of the Democratic Nanny State:
1) Those who believe they aren’t competent to run their own lives, and need Nanny to tell them what to do
2) Those who believe they are the perfect candidate for the job of Nanny.
Because most Jews marinate in that culture, all they know about alternative opinions is what they hear from other Leftists, which is of course a caricature, straw man, and convenient foil for ad hominem attacks against our positions based on the unsubstantiated charge of raaaaacissss!
Sayet said that he believed all those horrible things he was always told about Conservatives growing up until 9/11 forced him to begrudgingly find common cause with them. Then a remarkable thing happened. He talked to The Other and found out what Conservatives think… FROM A CONSERVATIVE.
I don’t share that belief, but I can see why you think our handling of Israel is more important to you than it is to the average American.
So, what do you think of below average Americans, considering the contempt in which you hold merely average Americans?
Oh, and now we’re Israel’s handler?
Protein Wisdom, because not just anybody can summarize the Jews.
Wasn’t the next line in that song, “Jew better bet your life.” Kind of reminds me of Lieutenant Kaffee asking Colonel Jessep if they were in grave danger and Colonel Jessep replying, “Is there another kind?”
Evan Sayet makes the point that the word “Jew” is different from any other word used to describe adherents of a religion, because it also describes someone who happens to plop out of a Jewish uterus.
Which flavor gets the $3 billion a year the Democratic Nanny State sends to Israel every year?
snooki is consistently every bit as fucking dense as its namesake.
I remember when $3 billion was a significant sum of monies.
That was back when Mr. Bush was president.
This from an aussie pal:
“Israel! Israel! Israel! Oy! Oy! Oy!”
#40 Abe Froman:
You wrote exactly what I was thinking – monkiboy.
None anymore snooki, at least since the inception of the Obama regime.
“Which flavor gets the $3 billion a year the Democratic Nanny State sends to Israel every year?”
The ones that live in Israel of course. Let’s look at some other countries, shall we?
Egypt 2 billion
Israel 2.5 billion
Russia 1.5 billion
Sudan 1.2 billion
Not to mention Iraq and Afghanistan…

The first link is the major countries, from which I drew a few citations. The second is a more complete list.
But, what’s your point snooki? Do you have something against Jooooz? Or against us sending them aid?
Make your point…
Hold your breath and you’ll asphyxiate before you get an honest answer out of that moron Bob.
They could just build a mile-high dirt berm and a balloon fence and keep those furriners at bay …
Have you all seen this link:

WTFO?
Whether we like it or not? Yeah, the idea that Barcky is not a proponent of American exceptionalism does not seem so silly now.
I saw that last night on he-who-will-not-be-named-but-is-tall-and-Irish’s television show.
It disgusts me personally. I realize that in a few days he’ll say his intent was more…nuanced than it sounds literally, but me, I’m calling it a Freudian-slip-of-the-lipl.
Who would he have rather had for the last 65 years? The Soviets? The Red Chinese? Does he really think anyone would have liberated territories instead of simply annexing them.
pusillanimous putz…
What’s worse JD is he is not even the least bit concerned about revealing it.
Truman recognized Israel — against the advice of his own Dept. of State — on the day it was formed, before any other government that I know of. Obama would have served out his term without doing so, had he been in Truman’s place.
G’night all,
Whether we like it or not I have a mission that’s worth finishing. Well, at least I think it is.
this is funny: joe mccarthy and baracky
http://tinyurl.com/y7s2w27
But, what’s your point snooki?
Just curious if any of the money the American taxpayers send to Israel each year goes to people who call themselves conservative, Bob.
Well snooki,
I suppose to the extent Likud is conservative, then, the amount of aid, divided by the total Israeli population, times the number that identify themselves as members of Likud would probably be a good approxiamtion of the amount of money that, on average, is transferred from the American taxpayers to Israelis that call themselves conservative…
Is that what you meant?
Change?
And just in time… Glenn Beck calls for the destruction of Israel:
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201004150082
“Beck called for the elimination of all foreign aid, which Beck said he is “tired of.” He suggested that we should instead benefit the world by “teach[ing] morals, values, ethics. According to Beck, Obama has proposed spending $49 billion in foreign aid this year”
That’s a non sequitur with a side order of non sequitur.
I think hmd is a particularly inept concern troll.
I mean, particularly inept. Probably has to wear a bicycle helmet in bed.
Comment by hmd on 4/15 @ 5:52 pm
*raises hand* Ooo oo Ooooh! Pick me Pick ME!
I wonder if our friend here actually watched Beck’s program today or just clicked over to MediaMatters.com — If he had watched the show today then he would know that this week was Beck’s “The Plan” series where Beck and guests slashed the US governments budget and in Beck’s own words “made a lot of people angry at him”. Yesterday or the day before Beck was taking out the Dept of Ed too.
So to summarize; Beck’s show was an example of how to slash the gov’t budget so America can prosper – but MediaMatters turns it into another chance to smear smear smear. In other news…water’s still wet.
“made a lot of people angry at him”.
People would be very angry if we ended our aid to Israel. You think people are upset with some little tiff with bibi? This would be serious shit. It would basically destroy the place. But how does media matters smear him?
“So to summarize; Beck’s show was an example of how to slash the gov’t budget so America can prosper – but MediaMatters turns it into another chance to smear smear smear.”
They don’t really point out that leaving israel defenseless wouldn’t really let us ‘prosper.’ That’s more my take.
this is anti islime axs egypt
yea but the jeeews are building something somewhere in israel.
Comment by hmd on 4/15 @ 6:11 pm
*hands you a dunce cap*
better find yourself a new glove, those balls keep sailing over your head.
“this is anti islime axs egypt”
And Iraq and afghanistan. Yes. But it also includes Israel. I don’t think Beck wants to get into that level of detail — which would leave people angry at him — because the general idea of ‘less foreign aid’ is quite popular. Much more so than ‘less aid for israel.’
But apparently there’s a dunce cap that needs to be passed around.
jizza for the muzzies sucks
“I don’t think Beck wants to get into that level of detail ”
Nobody who claims to want “smaller” government wants to go into detail and upset people.
That’s how the “small government” Republicans managed to increase the size of the federal budget 50% on their watch.
Upsetting people sucks. Better to just lie to them. You’ll probably be dead, or at least out of office by the time they figure it out anyway.
Here try it, it’s real easy.
Your health care is going to be cheaper and better under the new plan.
Hmd and snooki are especially ignert. Pig inert. Agressively so.
Sorry for telling the truth, JD.
I know that it is frowned on in these dark times.
baracky beat them by 200%
You would not know the truth if it left a mushroom bruise on your forehead, snooki. Congrats on remaining true to your namesake.
“baracky beat them by 200%”
Bush’s last budget – $3.1 trillion
Obama’s second budget – $3.8 trillion
I think JD might question your math skills, rutter.
That was not Bush’s last budget, snookums, that was Pelosi’s. Nice try, mental midget.
Is this meya? I’m so very bored with it. That means meya, right?
snooki,
Even of I accept your figures, which in theory I don’t because Congress never actually let Bush propose a budget for 2008-but chose to pass it in pieces by using the very same continuing resolutions they demagogued, all that proves is that the budget grew by 50% over all of the Booooooooooosh! years, and has already grown by nearly 25% in less than 2 years under Obama…
And you ain’t seen nothin’ yet, I’m sure.
Medicare part D was responsible for almost all of the growth under Boooooosh! less that entitlement expansion, it would have been a much prettier fiscal picture.
Obama is palavering about fiscal responsibility after enacting the far-left wish list from the past 15 years. Discretionary spending was increased by 125%! And he has the nerve to talk about defecit nuetrality…
We could save 200 billion per year right off the bat if federal employees, congress included, had their salary and benefits reduced to the same par level as the average American, that and eliminating the Department of Education and let the States underwrite education like it was before Carter…
A load of money spent for little increase in standardized test scores…
That was not Bush’s last budget, snookums, that was Pelosi’s. Nice try, mental midget.
Yeah, that’s why it said “submitted by George W. Bush” on it.
“The Democrats do it, too” and “It’s always the Democrats fault” isn’t going to get your pals back into office.
We could save 200 billion per year right off the bat if federal employees, congress included, had their salary and benefits reduced to the same par level as the average American
Bob, aren’t you a lifelong government employee?
How much of your pay/retirement benefits have you refused?
Oh, yeah, snookums. We all know that Naval aviators make MUCH more than commercial pilots.
Moron.
snooki, what are your thoughts on people like meya who keep changing their names? Would you say someone like meya is a sad person, snooki?
Has Obama paid off those ill-advised student loans yet, SFAG?
Poor SFAG.
She could join a coed softball team. Get a puppy. Take up whittling.
But no. She decides to be sad. She decides to spend all her time boring other people on the internet.
Poor SFAG.
Not much else left to do after she kicked Rilly Dumb to the curb, I guess.
Well snooki, you got me there.
I’ve never refused a dollar of my pay: the way I see it, I earned it, and admittedly there were some days when I couldn’t believe that I wasn’t paying them for one of the best rides a body could ever take, short of space flight. But I made it up in the later years; you’ll have to take my word since I’m not at liberty to talk about it…
Suffice it to say that we weren’t SEIU members!
But I’m self employed now, and as a matter of fact, I pay for my own health insurance as opposed to taking advantage of the VA benefits that are available to me. Now don’t get me wrong, there may come a day when I’m compelled to use them, but in the meantime I’ll pay my own way so as not to deprive one of my bretheren who needs it a place in the system.
As for what I’m paid? I earned it. I paid it forward. And I didn’t even charge extra for overtime, or time spent in harms way.
Once again, what’s your point?
Bob, a gnat is biting your leg. With its theatrics or not, with words aside, that’s what this is.
(I’m not just saying that because you’re in the League of Overly Tall Men.)
Heh, SBP. Maybe quilting? Tennis doubles?
Via Riehl via Insty, O dude appears to be a moron altogether, or he just gets off on insulting his constituency.
I saw that, sdferr. So, driven mad by hubris or syphilis?
I’m sorry. The guy is dumb. That’s what we’re left with. That’s the answer.
It’s of a piece with the “whether we like it or not” statement, another confirmation of the man’s stupidity.
This aggressive inadequacy. We now need a word for it. Carteresque simply doesn’t fit. He was meek and sweatered and rabbit bit. This is something new.
The old saying, paraphrasing, “never attribute to malice that which can be explained by idiocy”? We’re past that. Maliocy? Idioce?
Once again, what’s your point?
Bob, I’m sure that all government employees feel, like you do, that they earn(ed) their pay.
And I’m sure you’re not pompous enough to believe you’re somehow special.
So we know you’re not being serious when you propose government employees should voluntarily cut their pay.
Tis not the vile meya. The troll poked its snout into the employment history of gentleman Bob. Meya sullies this fair domain with the impersonal nature of a clock-watching whore. You guessers what guess suck at the guessings. But fear not, habitues of the wingnut netherworld, I shall unsheath my sabre and debone this wretched dog groomer.
Snooki person: Bob has highly specialized and marketable knowledge, education and skills. The majority of government employees are morons like yourself who don’t have a dime’s worth of value in the private sector until such time as they can trade on their access. I bid you adieu, chump.
Good stuff.
“This aggressive inadequacy. We now need a word for it”
I propose Arrogancy.
Bob has highly specialized and marketable knowledge, education and skills.
Which is why he worked for the government for so long.
Makes perfect sense.
So what do you do for a living, troll? Only a moron would presume to look down their nose at a rocket scientist and former fighter pilot.
Only a moron would presume to look down their nose at a rocket scientist and former fighter pilot.
I don’t look down my nose at Bob. But he’s just another government employee to me.
But being a lefty, I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Occupation: Bellevue, Washington’s Village Idiot.
That quote at Riehl World View has a “Let them eat cake” feel to it. Perhaps something aristocratically French, similar to Antoinette’s “Madame Déficit”.
Kinda like arrogancy myself, Geoff.
Poor, poor “snooki”. Hoping to find even a touch of human contact through trolling. Have you considered a bridge league or a book club? There must be someplace for you.
Perfect for a “snooki”.
I don’t look down my nose at Bob.
Liar.
Trollhammered.
Cletus, thanks for keepin’ my six clear!
snooki,
The reason I was with the Navy for so long stemmed from a heartfelt love for, and desire to serve, our nation, and in doing so serve you and yours indirectly. I truly enjoyed using my God given skills, at first on the line, and years later behind the scenes, to ensure that dialogues and discussions just like this one here could be had. Yes snooki, in a sense I did it precisely so you could be free to attempt and paint me a hypocrite, regardless of how classless that exercise is. But I didn’t hide in the military exploiting the system, simply marking time suckling at the public teat, and clinging to a job I had risen to as a result of the Peter principle.
I don’t know if you’re aware of this snooki, but members of the US armed forces are not ordinary government employees and bureaucrats. There are few unsworn federal employees that are essentially at the disposal of their superiors 24/7. And there are few federal employees that willingly risk life and limb, should the situation require it. Furthermore, while the inability to fire federal employees is legendary, especially among the unionized folks, if you screw around in the service the best outcome you can hope for is a dishonorable discharge instead of prison.
Military pay rates are much better than when I was first commissioned, but for many years they were not on par with what civilian federal employees made. Even today there are many civilian federal employees whose salaries exceed flag officers; heck there are administrative assistants that make more than I did when I was active!
Once again snooki, I find myself asking you to quit beating around the bush and make your point. Civilian federal employment is not comparable to military service, no matter what you say, owing to the way you turn your life over to whichever branch you join as a condition of your “employment contract”. There is no one-to-one equivalence. So it is neither pompous nor hypocritical for me to call for a cut in civilian federal employees pay and benefits-specifically, they should have to suffer the same health care plan that they voted the rest of the country be saddled with.
Bob,
I appreciate the need for you, a right-winger, to rationalize away your many years of drawing a government paycheck.
It’s been my experience the most vocal anti-government types work for the government.
Self-hating wackiness.
fuck you, snookums. That is all.
Your “experience” appears to be limited to the mush-heads in your psych ward, snookie. How pathetic is it that you are here again, under yet another name, and this time, shitting on someone that you are not fit to clean up after?
snooki,
I don’t trade in rationalizations nor indulge in self-hating wackiness. Have you heard me call for any cuts in military pay rates or corresponding benefits?
Your engaging in a semantics game and drawing equivalences that are inappropriate and innacurate. I can assure you that the nation and you by extension realized every bit of benefit for the costs laid out, and would even go so far as to argue that a substantial return on investment was ultimately realized over the course of my time based on the fruits of labors that I’m not at liberty to detail.
Can you say the same?
I’ve never asked what my country could do for me, but only strove to do what I could for my country.
Bob,
Either you took a paycheck from the government or you didn’t.
Everything else is just hot air.
Bob,
Either you took a paycheck from the government or you didn’t.
Everything else is just hot air.
It’s only hot air if people accept the specific premise that you’re arguing from. But you’re really not arguing from a premise so much as engaging in hollow posturing. Stupid people are wont to do such. The only pertinent question here is why is a blabbering retard wasting an actual rocket scientists time? Why do you so hate people who are a lot smarter than you?
Bob is awesome. That is all.
“The only pertinent question here is why is a blabbering retard wasting an actual rocket scientists time?”
I doubt “actual rocket scientist” Bob is busy doing anything but government make work.
Like fighter pilots, America hasn’t need rocket scientists for about 30 years now.
Snookums is a vapid imbecile. That is all.
Spot the difference:
took
earned
snooki, or should I say Meya,
Notwithstanding your sneering tone, your arguments are still sophistry.
The Constitution specifically stipulates that the nation maintain an armed forces for our natoinal defense. I don’t recall anything in there about the department of Education, or that civilian federal employees should be paid better than the private sector.
Oh, and snooki, you’re mistaken about rocket scientists being unnecessary; several branches of our military still rely on them, as well as NASA. If I were at liberty to be more detailed, what I was doing for the Navy just a few years ago would definitely raise some eyebrows-and if not here, for sure in the halls of power of our enemies.
And if we don’t need fighter pilots anymore, and haven’t for the last 30 years, just what was I doing putting my arse in harms way during “Operation Desert Storm”? Or “Operation Deny Flight”? Or “Operation Southern Watch”?
I guess I was just doing it for the lulz…
It don’t get more cowardly than using a man’s personal details to score imaginary rhetorical points while hiding behind an idiotic screen name and offering no resume of your own. A less stupid manboy would be ashamed, an intelligent being wouldn’t have the temerity to begin with.
rockets are very America I think
Bob,
Has the Navy lost any pilots to combat in the past 30 years?
And if you’re working for Burt Rutan or any of the other truly private rocket developers, my compliments.
But if you’re still getting a government paycheck from some government contractor making crap we’ll never use or need, well, look in the mirror, Peter Pan.
alphie I do not understand what the point is exactly
the free market is neat I think, what’s left of it
Peter Pan makes tasty peanut butter what makes tasty cookies which is more than our piece of shit Chicago street trash president makes I think. Which, he looks like he could use a cookie.
He looks like he got the slims, really.
That was dumb even for Snotcone.
Back in the trollbin it goes.
That was dumb even for Snotcone.
Like I said:
Occupation: Bellevue, Washington’s Village Idiot.
With all the trolls we have coming and going, this idiot is the easiest name changer to quickly sniff out aside from maybe the Tennessee hilljack guitard.
Choosy mothers choose Jif.
BECAUSE OF THE HYPOCRISY BOB!
Sorry, needed to be said.
“Has the Navy lost any pilots to combat in the past 30 years? ”
Ah, snowcone…
I’d say it’s a pleasure, but, well, you know…
We’ve been down this road before, you and I, and chewed over the same rhetorical grass. The short answer is, yes, we’ve lost one or two qircraft over that period actually engaged in air combat. But virtually all of the other losses over that period have been to SAMs.
I never worked for a government contractor Snowcone, I was a line officer. And I’m self employed now, having retired a few years ago. But I assure you, as guinsPen pointed out, there’s a difference between earned and took.
I earned it, in spades.
I’d love to tell you, but you don’t have the sufficient clearances-and as talented as he is, neither does Burt…
“I earned it, in spades.”
I’m sure every government employee feels that way, Bob.
And now you’re repeating yourself, a la #109…
Snowcone hasn’t gotten any smarter since we last saw him here, more’s the pity.
It’s just as true, Bob.
I’m sure you have to feel you earned your lifetime government stipend, how else could you, a right-winger, live with yourself.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t point out your laughable hypocrisy.
See?
It is funny to think of lambchop as legion, but whatever.
What a fucking coward. You aren’t worthy of wiping Bob’s ass after a Taco Bell assblast.
that was graphic
The real cowards are the people like Bob who complain about the size of the deficit but squeal like a pig if anyone suggests the money they’re getting from the government should be cut.
People like Bob are the reason the federal budget is out of control.
The deficit is out of control cause of a dirty socialist Chicago street trash motherfucker is raping our little country up the ass is my understanding.
***tw***
It’s only hypocrisy in your head though sweetie pie and mostly because when the only tool you have is a hammer everything starts looking like nails. In the real world, details matter.
It would be nice to think you could make an argument that isn’t a thinly veiled invitation to SHUT UP. I’m betting you don’t have the chops.
The chops? heh. He reminds me of one of those guys who never played or followed sports as a kid and then as a bored adult becomes an obnoxious fan who has no concept of what it is to compete, the sacrifice or even how to watch.
Only in this particular case the story is not about sports but about a aimless loser who never challenged himself academically, has no critical thinking ability nor does he have the slightest clue how to engage in debate, yet the unprepared and overmatched dummy has inexplicably chosen politics as a grown up hobby.
snowcone,
I think that if you asked everyday Americans whether I’ve earned my way, the plurality would agree. I also think that a similar plurality would not say that military personell are equivalent to civilian government employees.
Only extremists with an axe to grind, and who believe that military service is just a form of wingnut welfare, would engage in the sophistry you are trying to pass off here and say that I was “just another government employee”.
And I think that a plurality of Americans would take offense at your sophist characterization of American service personell.
Your charge of hypocrisy is fatuous, your rhetoric tact pure sophistry, and your motivation hate and hyperpartisanship.
You’re most likely a craven coward, who would never have the nerve to speak to me like that in person.
And that’s the difference between you and I. I stand by what I say, and could feel proud to say the same to anyone face-to-face.
That’s what honorable gentlemen do.
We should add another couple bucks to Bob’s pension every time some sniveling loser wastes his time.
Oh, and hypocrisy?
snowcone is our super best friend alphie I thought
I thought alphie was working to become a lawyer. How’s that going alphie?
The cowardly trolls just can’t quit us. No matter how many times they are banned, no matter how many different names they try. Their psychological makeup would be a fascinating case study.
“The real cowards are the people like Bob who complain about the size of the deficit but squeal like a pig if anyone suggests the money they’re getting from the government should be cut.
People like Bob are the reason the federal budget is out of control.”
I don’t recall squealing like a pig, snowcone. And you seem to have a short memory. Do you recall upthread how I mentioned that I don’t impose on the VA for my healthcare, but purchase my own? Let’s engage in a thought experiment; do you think that practice increases cost somehow?
Maybe you should invent your own strawmen to knock down, and stop trying to take on me; ‘cuz you certainly wouldn’t be tryin’ to do so in the real world.
The trolls have been coming out of the woodwork in a frenzy this week.
They must be noticing all those scary polls, JD.
What is this ‘lambchop’ creature? Didn’t we already have one furry awhile back, a sheep? Or was it a goat?
Hey, furry lambchop, try to hook up with the rest of your herd and move along. Strays don’t usually survive here very long without protections. And your self-protections don’t really seem all that adequate.
“I think that if you asked everyday Americans whether I’ve earned my way, the plurality would agree”
You’d at least get the votes of folks who are getting Pentagon pork themselves, Bob.
That’s why the Tea Party is such a joke.
Everyone thinks some parts of the federal budget shouldn’t be cut.
Racist teabaggers. How do my ballz taste, goatfucker?
Did this hurt, Lambchop?
NTTAWWT.
Wrong snowcone,
Not just Pentagon types, a plurality of Americans would agree with my positions, and reject your churlish characterizations. And if the truth about soending were laid out, if Obama & Co were actually as truthful and transparent as they always said they intended to be, you’d find that widespread agreement would be reached on how to cut spending.
And that “joke” as you call it, the tea-party, holds the key to electoral victory in 2010 and 2012. The independants have abandoned Obama, so have the squishy Republicans, and 1 in 4 tea-partiers are Democrats…
Waterloo snowcone, Waterloo…
See that’s what you all don’t get. Obamacare was Obama’s Waterloo, whether it passed or not !
Obamaloo!
Oh, sorry, trigger warning.
This snooki/snowcone/lambchop loser is still babbling? What a douche.
Snowcone,
Here ya go, for the agita…

Notice, it’s your sides fave-Gallup; and not Obergruppenfuhrer McPollsterRasmussen…Your boys…
And next? How’s that Smart Power! strategy of freezing out the Israelis working. You remember, the subject of this post?
http://www.mclaughlinonline.com/6?article=28
Ooooh, that’s gonna leave a mark…
It shows that Obama’s support among jewish Americans is tanking quick. So, you know, it brings us back to the topic of the thread…
Read ’em and weep. Or rage, or whatever.
You’re TTP to me…
Still babbling, lamb chop loser, and still not a valid point made.
Governments should pay for national defense, for NASA, for public projects that benefit all citizens. To a degree, I think public schools (if they hadn’t been turned into little leftist growing pods) are worthy of government support; if only we could’ve kept the teacher’s unions out of ’em, they would be much better than they are now.
Governments should not pay for pure social support networks beyond a short-term safety net. What’s now obvious is that we had the Social Democrats working their top voter-attraction project; with ObamaCare they’ve endowed their pet constituency (the little lambs and sheep that are the whiny Democrat base) with near cradle-to-grave health care. Social Democrats have snagged 1/6 of the nation’s economy simply to attract votes. The Lefty Politician Looter – Loser Democrat Moocher-Voter feedback loop is now complete. And Ben Franklin’s worst nightmare is ever closer to reality.
Troll song.
snooki, snowcone, snooki, snowcone, snooki, snowcone,, pu.
“Waterloo snowcone, Waterloo…”
At least you’ll admit the Tea Partiers are just Republican stooges, Bob.
Even with their modest support, I don’t think America will hand the keys back to the party of Bush this year.
‘jever see the video of the Grizzly bear gettin’ all jiggy with the stinky dead whale carcass?
Brakabama is aroused. He needs to be put down.
At least you’ll admit the Tea Partiers are just Republican stooges
Lucky are we to have a low information voter in the hizzouse! Do you at least wear a condom when you’re fucking chickens?
