for me, Cash and his music transcends genre. Simple but powerful song.

  2. JHo says:

Genius. A solid pull for many reasons, JG.

  3. Danger says:

The man in black also has good genes. His nephew, LT Carey H. Cash is a Navy Chaplain. He wrote a book called Table In The Presence; describing his experience with the First Battalion, Fifth Marine Regiment, the first ground combat force to cros the line of departure into Iraq.

    “A highly recommended read!”
    “Danger approved!”
    “Two volleys up!”

  4. Danger says:

Oops that should have been A Table In The Presence

  5. Mark A. Flacy says:

    Jeff,

    Thanks.

This song was used in the opening sequence of the remake of “Dawn of the Dead.” A haunting song made horrifying my the brilliant imagery.

Best part of the movie, IMHO. The rest was the usual “OMFG! TEH ZOMBIEZ IS H3RE! THEY WANTS BRAINZ!” BS. Really. A waste of time. Except the opening sequence.

Here’s the youtube lowrez version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LJEPkc4ztE

Hmm, after watching it again, it seemed better in the theaters. I guess the mind does tend to edit out the crap.
