“Faced with some of the world’s strictest anti-drug laws, some addicts in Malaysia are sniffing fresh cow dung to get high,” CNN Europe reports.
An official at the National Narcotics Agency said Thursday the problem was small but growing among addicts who cannot buy drugs.
Trade Minister Rafidah Aziz was quoted in The New Straits Times newspaper Wednesday as saying she wanted the government to deal with addicts who sniff cow dung, glue and even polystyrene smoke.
She did not elaborate.
Elaborate? Why would she need to elaborate? Note to Malaysian narcotics officers: You catch a Malaysian neck-deep in cow shit, assume the worst and arrest his nasty, dung-huffin’ ass.

We will WIN the War on Drugs. We will ban glue. We will ban cattle. We will ban paint. Most importantly, we will ban professors from small private universities who refuse to get with the program. Who’s side are you on?
”…arrest his nasty, dung-huffin’ ass”
:falls on floor laughing:
“Hey man! This is good shit!”
(Or was that too obvious?)
Duh. Maybe I should read the fricking titles from now on.

Gah, first Possumblog beats me to the punch by minutes – and then I find out you were hours ahead. Life is so cruel sometimes.

Oh, calling me an idiot would have been perfectly in order. God knows I did.
