Breaking: “Kennedy Cousin” Michael Skakel found guilty in the 1975 murder of Martha Moxley. Skakel, now 41, was convicted largely on circumstantial evidence.

“He hung himself by his own petard,” prosecutor Jonathan Benedict told reporters outside of the Connecticut courthouse, referring to Skakel’s own admissions over the years.

Well, somebody killed Ms. Moxley. Was it Skakel? Dunno. Did he cover his tracks alone? Doubtful. But it’s all academic, now. I’m interested to see what happens during the sentencing. Skakel was 15 at the time of the murder — a murder of rage with a weapon of convenience.
