Congrats, and yes the time she does fly. Our neighbors next door had two foreign exchange students just leave, a German and a Russian. Good boys, they fit right in with the other boys in the neighborhood.

  8. Joe says:

    Congratulations Dan.

  9. geoffb says:

Congratulations to your son and his friend.

Time flies, indeed. My belief is we view the passing time in relation to the entire time we have lived. At 4 the year until 5 is 25% of your life, at 60 the 15 years until 75 passes at about the same speed.

Summer in childhood was so long, now I blink and it’s gone. Winter the same thankfully. If I blink a few times perhaps O! will be out.

    also this note:

anyone what is still referring to Governor Palin as Barracuda or ‘Cuda or as a pitbull … is gay. Gay gay gay gay Olivia Newton John needs her pink sweatband back gay. She is Governor Palin or Sarah Palin. How fucking hard is that? It is not hard is how hard it is. In fact it is very easy unless you are a vapid homo.

Okey dokey so I hope that helps get us all on the same page there.

  30. happyfeet says:

oh. But anyone here at this particular blog can call Governor Palin whatever they want and still be a lot not gay. But that’s just cause y’all are cool like that. It’s not the norm.

  31. psycho... says:

“Barracuda” was inspired by the ladies in Heart being offended at an implication that they were gay, they say.
