Bill Clinton Civil to Bush [Dan Collins]

during talk in Toronto. Leftists disappointed.

Bold prediction: Clinton and Bush end up being elder-statesman buddies, since Carter’s so pissed about the Clintons’ horning in on his Hot Middle Eastern Action, and they can both laugh at Gumby.

Just one more comment about Sotomayor, too. Lots of the La Raza people are secessionists who believe in Aztlan. That’s okay, but when Texas asserts its 14th Amendment rights, that’s awful. But when Vermonters call for sovereignty, that’s good.

What do La Raza and the Vermont 2nd Republic people have in common? Rabid anti-Zionism, for one thing.

Gleen has the chance to sponsor some cabana boys.

  1. happyfeet says:

“It was eye-opening, but I wanted to hear his justifications for going to war,” the 29-year-old said.

no. This canuck hoochie’s eyes, they were not opened. Don’t ask me how I know this I just do.

  2. Bob Reed says:

These guys are generally civil to each other…

At least since the 1992 election…

It’s especially amazing since, you know, Bill Clinton refined the politics of personal destruction, created by the left during the Reagan years, to a high art form…

I guess it was his staff, and maybe Hillz…

I mean Billy Jeff was takin’ care of bidness, baby!; if you know what I mean…

  3. JD says:

Are canuck hoochies anything like lobster-pot hoochies, just less damaging, and with round bacon?

  4. happyfeet says:

canuck hoochies are different from the lobster-pot ones cause a lot of the canuck hoochies are guys. But yes, they are gentle creatures.

  5. Mikey NTH says:

Bill Clinton already is a buddy of GHW Bush, not a surprise that he would be with GW Bush.
Bill is a guy, and he likes doing guy-stuff, and hanging around with guys, I think. Yes, he is a horny dog, but I think he likes that hanging around with guys thing too.

I think that explains a lot about his popularity; you can actually see him go get a bowl of chili, get a beer from the keg, and then go sit by the fire. And you sense he actually likes that, it isn’t an act. A little bit of the Andy Jackson (without all of the duelling).

Haps: That is just a young person who has been totally sheltered not realizing that the world does not actually have ‘time-outs’ and ‘discussion circles’ suddenly confronting what it means to take on an adult role. If she is lucky, she will grow into it. (N.B.: I have cousins in Canada; they are pretty hard-headed and realistic.)

  6. baldilocks says:

Right after the big Tsunami I think, GWB sent his father and Bubba around the world together as goodwill ambassadors. Since then Bubba and the Bushes have been thick as thieves.

  7. JD says:

Mikey – That is a good point about Clinton. He can do that kind of stuff and it does not look or feel like a photo-op. If the dirty little socialist did it, kind of like his trips to the burger joints, it feels so contrived.

  8. happyfeet says:

I wasn’t talking about all Canadians just the hoochies. There are too many brave stalwart and true Canadians to count. David Frum is not one of them.

  9. Mikey NTH says:

    What is La Raza?

    Another version of the Bund?

  10. happyfeet says:

it means The Race – it’s some sort of creepy brown supremacist group

  11. Mikey NTH says:

    #8 Haps:

I know you were not talking about all Canadians. I dropped in a link to Lord Strathcona’s Horse the other night. I just wanted to emphasize that a lot of Canadians aren’t the misty-headed types.

As a lot of Americans don’t fit into Rick Mercer’s “This Hour has Twenty-Two Minutes” ‘Talking With Americans’ skit.

  12. Mikey NTH says:

    #10 Haps

Then it is another version of the Bund.

Be interesting if anyone audited their books, I think.

  13. newrouter says:

in a photo shoot the dirty socialist would ask for a smelly cheese on their steak hoagie. ask jf kerry

  14. Bob Reed says:

    Hmmmmmmm…

It looks like the O!ne has begun the process of throwing the Israelis under that bus…

    http://hashmonean.com/2009/05/29/stalwart-allies-obama-admin-has-frozen-arms-sales-no-more-apache-longbows-for-israel/

    Just as I predicted…Unfortunately

  15. newrouter says:

i like “the race” bunch of whites leading mestizoes on to victory. sortof.

  16. sdferr says:

Obama is looking like a walking foreign policy disaster every day he’s in office, Bob. He’s going to get an awful lot of people killed unnecessarily is what he’s going to do.

  17. B Moe says:

Why limit it to foreign policy, sdferr? Has he figured something out I am unaware of?

  18. newrouter says:

i hate “white law”: give me post colonial african law ( slit some throats) or give me death.

  19. newrouter says:

teleprompter jesus will save your soul with body counts. praise the lord pass the acorn.

  20. Sammy says:

it means The Race – it’s some sort of creepy brown supremacist group

Anyone associated with La Raza has no place in our government.

    Oh, wait a minute.

  21. sdferr says:

The only source of the limit in this instance was Bob’s link B Moe. Well that and the grindingly bad feeling I’ve got about Obama’s upcoming trip to Egypt etc. And the way he’s got Clinton talking to the Israelis. And the pussified stance he’s taken toward North Korean provocations. And Iran. And his bowing to the Saudi King. That he can’t seem to distinguish between a longtime and faithful ally and an insidious and implacable enemy.

  22. The Monster says:

when Texas asserts its 14th Amendment rights

    You mean 10th, right?

  23. newrouter says:

i think the next pot bellied dictator missile launch lands in alaska. should be fun.

  24. B Moe says:

Take you hat off, Sammy, I can’t see your point.

  25. JD says:

I am a dunderhead. I gave I Am Sam the benefit of the doubt, and clicked on its link. It took me to fuckin’ Kos, where some diarist cannot tell the difference between saying something nice about an organization and belonging to the organization. What a dishonest little twat you are.

  26. Bob Reed says:

    Sammy,

Don’t bring links to Kos, KosTV, or anything associated with them…

They have less than zero credibility; after all, they supply Kieth Olbermann his talking points…

Cite Kos stff to HuffPo, DU, or other lunatic fringe sites please…

  27. Dan Collins says:

    Sorry, Monster, that is correct.

  28. Bob Reed says:

    Sdferr,

He won’t be happy ’til Israel gets nuked, and the Islamo-fascists have the means to threaten us with nukes; dirty or otherwise…

    It’s a travesty, waiting to become a catastrophe…

  29. JD says:

You say that as though it is a bug, Bob. At some point, it becomes clear it is a feature.

  30. Bob Reed says:

    JD,

    That’s the disturbing part, it’s a feature, not a bug…

  31. newrouter says:

so what does sarah do if mr north korea attacks. i know what sarah would do the O! notsomuch.

  32. SBP says:

Only marginally related, but I see that our prospective Wise Latina Supreme Court justice has a Wise Latino brother who is a Wise Latino doctor.

His Wise Latino practice made the Wise Latino decision to not take Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Those people just smell up the waiting room, you see.

  33. urthshu says:

    Be of good cheer, Bob.
Its rare I get into any religious whatsis, but you’ve gotta know that eventually *every* nation is supposed to be opposed to Israel. Yes, and the USA too.

But no worries for the Chosen. Have faith.

  34. happyfeet says:

    ok that’s not dark

  35. JD says:

Throughout history, the people that have chosen to be against Israel have, by and large, been pretty shitty people.

  36. urthshu says:

I’m a dark koinda guy, soitenly. nyuknyuknyuk

  37. urthshu says:

JD let me hasten to add that I’m not in favor of opposing Israel. Its a different point I’m making.

Where’s Baldilocks? She *knows* things, that lady…

  38. JD says:

Urthshu – No need to explain to me, I know that. I was just making a tangential point, and hoping that Teh Uno will not try to add our name to that long list of douchebags.

  39. sdferr says:

How’s about his going to Dresden for a little cheap moralizing show-and-tell-the-world what monsters the WWII allies were sound as an example of foreign policy aplomb? Smart power was it? Yeah, that’s the ticket to their hearts.

  40. geoffb says:

Or you could say that the Progressives have since their beginnings wanted to downsize the human population of the Earth. An economic collapse leading to a nuke exchange and a world war would do it. Not That There Is Anything Even Remotely Right With That.

  41. happyfeet says:

oh. Here, urthshu. Jeez our president is an astounding cocksucker to where someone should tell him look you have to stop being such an astounding cocksucker it’s not good for the country.

  42. JD says:

hf – clearly he is not yet in the same league as Sully and the Gleeeeens. NTTAWWT

  43. urthshu says:

But I’m not seeing that as the goal, really. O’s really doing a bang up job for what his aims are: Turning the USA socialist.

Even Pravda is laughing at us.

  44. newrouter says:

oh yes dresden because the “well educated” read slaughter house five.

  45. happyfeet says:

It’s a lot cause he has trouble not talking I think.

  46. newrouter says:

yea well pravada might be telling “the truth”

  47. newrouter says:

    or is that ivestia?

  48. Pablo says:

But as this video of both President Bush and John McCain publicly praising La Raza illustrates, the only comparison involving the KKK that Tancredo should make is between himself and a Grand Wizard.

Today I’m hoping that Sammy will link a more articulate moron.

  49. geoffb says:

From the link that urthshu has above.

“Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.”

KGB to Obama, Marxism doesn’t work you fool. LOL

  50. urthshu says:

You ain’t see’d nuffin’ yet, hf

  51. geoffb says:

It’s a reprint in Pravda of a column from Mat Rodina a blog by Stanislav Mishin.

  52. newrouter says:

But as this video of both President Bush and John McCain publicly praising La Raza illustrates,

    f&&k you dc republicans

  53. urthshu says:

Ah, didn’t know that, geoffb. Hope its not some wacko. But the linked article was Teh Funneh, IMO

  54. newrouter says:

  55. happyfeet says:

John McCain is a whore what would publicly praise head lice if he thought that’s what NPR wanted.

  56. SBP says:

Sammy, I knew you were stupid, but are you really stupid enough to think that anyone around here likes John McCain?

    Jesus.

  57. newrouter says:

did npr merge with nbc? are they government owned?

  61. geoffb says:

That’s Orthodox Christian Russian. Church I attend too. That is not a defense of him as I know nothing else about him or his site.

christianist is Progressive-speak in my book.

  62. newrouter says:

Belonging to La Raza = bad, bad, bad
Pandering to La Raza = sweet holy goodness

But it’s the same old playbook.

Step 1: Could the person possibly be a liberal? If yes, proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Demonize every single thing shes come within 100 miles of, and hope something sticks.
Step 3: Say, “We don’t know that she’s a Muslim.”

Of course, as 2010 approaches, we’re going to see a lot more Republican pandering, esp. in the Southwest. Good luck with that.

  64. SBP says:

Belonging to La Raza = bad, bad, bad
Pandering to La Raza = sweet holy goodness

Believing that any regular on this site would piss on John McCain if he were on fire = dumber than a lobotomized sheep.

  65. newrouter says:

Step 2: Demonize every single thing shes come within 100 miles of, and hope something sticks.

They brainstormed. Estrada had once worked in the Justice Department’s Office of Solicitor General, right? (Appointed under the first President Bush, Estrada stayed to serve several years under Clinton.) That office decides which cases the government will pursue in the Supreme Court, right? And that process involves confidential legal memoranda, right? Well, why don’t we suggest that there might be something damaging in those memos — we have no idea whether there is or not — and demand that they be made public?

Durbin and his colleagues knew the Bush Justice Department would insist the internal legal memos remain confidential, as they always had been. It wasn’t just the Bush Administration that thought releasing the documents was a terrible idea; all seven living former Solicitors General, Republican and Democrat, wrote a letter to Judiciary Committee chairman Patrick Leahy begging him to back off.

But the Democrats didn’t back off. They had a new, very serious question to ask: What is Miguel Estrada hiding?

The answer was nothing, of course. But the strategy worked.

    ?

  66. SBP says:

So tell us, Sammy, why doesn’t The Virgin of the South Bronx’s brother like poor people? Isn’t that the sort of “health care” that your man Barky wants to provide for all of us?

  67. newrouter says:

    proggs are about projection

  68. Sammy says:

Believing that any regular on this site would piss on John McCain if he were on fire = dumber than a lobotomized sheep.

I guess you missed the part where El Presidente Bush says, “La Raza. Muy Bien. Heh Heh.”

  69. newrouter says:

that gov’t work don’t pay enough

  70. newrouter says:

I hope my brother’s never judged by the things I do.

  72. JD says:

  75. Sammy says:

I Am Sam seems intent on getting to the levels of mendoucheousness displayed by meya, poon and Gordo.

JD, You haven’t labeled something a lie, and me a liar lately. What am I doing wrong?

  76. newrouter says:

. What am I doing wrong?

your mother didn’t have a partial birth abortion.

  77. SBP says:

I guess you missed the part where El Presidente Bush

And what makes you think we give a shit about Bush, either, Sammy?

I’d say that most of us approved of his handling of the War on Terror and that’s about it.

Your problem, Sammy, is that you’re a bigoted cultist, and it’s not possible for you to even IMAGINE anyone who isn’t one.

  78. SBP says:

I hope my brother’s never judged by the things I do.

Sound of the point either whooshing over Sammy’s head or being deliberately ignored.

  79. JD says:

Because you are not so much lying as performing public asspulls, writing fiction, arguing with caricatures in your head, and otherwise proving yourself to be the fool we all suspected you to be.

  80. JD says:

Plus, RTO and maggie pretty much showed everyone that you are more ignorant than dishonest last night, eventually leading you to surrender like the French when they hear a firecracker go off.

  81. Republican on Acid says:

“What do La Raza and the Vermont 2nd Republic people have in common?”

    Both hate white people.

  82. Republican on Acid says:

I think there should be an amendment to the constitution.

Amendment 28 – Every executive seat should be filled with a rotating race and sex. All parties will run the same race/sex at the appointed election runoffs so that each presidential nomination a different sex/race will have a chance to run the United States executive branch. On years that can not be scheduled, militant looking black males will play craps to decide.

  83. Makewi says:

I suggest we just put smart people in charge. To determine who qualifies, we ask smart people.

    Turtles all the way down.

  84. Republican on Acid says:

That’s crazy talk. Smart people have no idea what its like to be a minority unless they are one.
I think this place is full of racist now. RACISTS!

  85. some asshole says:

  88. Spiny Norman says:

Well now, I leave for 8 hours (I hate it when work intrudes on my web-surfing, damned demanding clients) and the swearing is still going on.

  89. Dash Rendar says:

I think the pseudosmart people think its so awful to be a minority and they think ‘thank god its not me, I’ve already got my audi and I can die happy’ and they think they’re such contemptible poor pathetic souls they must be coddled. Spit on those people right in their stupid dispshit faces.

  90. Dash Rendar says:

Please don’t misappropriate subjects and pronouns and such or whatever. Dang I drank with some cougars tonight. Those ladies are fun.

  91. ghost707 says:

Clinton and Bush are thinking: “man, we no longer have to worry about our legacies, Obama will be the only U.S.President in history to completely bankrupt it.”

Sorry Sammy, things are not going to end well for Obama.

  92. Republican on Acid says:

Just wondering, at what age does a female have to be to become a cougar? Anyone? When I was a youngerish man and waiting tables, the goal of every night was to get women in their 40’s wasted and get some numbers. It made for great tips and the occasional fling. I actually appreciated the older babes more. They were less full of shit and easier to talk to. So now that I am 40, where are the chicks in their 20’s hitting on me? Huh? Well?

  93. Republican on Acid says:

Well 40 in about a month, its just like being 40.

  94. psycho... says:

Bush is the only ceremonial pitcher I’ve ever seen throw a strike.

And it was super-slow. That’s really hard to do.

  95. Republican on Acid says:

I have a story about this, I will try to make it as short as possible. I went to a Cardinals game where he threw the opening game pitch. The pals I went with were total Bush haters. One in particular so much that he is a DNC operative. So as we were bar hopping pre game and arguing politics, I was – by the time the moment arrived – show me your money big guy! Fuck GW is just something you say to impress the city girls and so on. Still in his stupor (and mine) he did manage to throw a beer as GW took the field. We were both promptly escorted out of Busch stadium and I had an embarrassing phone call to another pal to pick me at the metro to avoid total wife hatred (although she did find out and ridiculed me, “you cant even watch a fucking baseball game!”. My pal ended up down on south grand somehow attempting to barter a shirt he bought at the game with a bartender for another drink. Later he went on to BG for Gov. Jay Nixon who although isn’t a Carnahan in league with the Arkansas crew, is definitely moving as fast as possible under the wing of the new Chicago mafioso. He would never admit it, but ……………

  96. Republican on Acid says:

Well, the sun rose in the West this morning, and I read this (via Lucianne):

“Ted Rall: It’s increasingly evident that Obama should resign

MIAMI — We expected broken promises. But the gap between the soaring expectations that accompanied Barack Obama’s inauguration and his wretched performance is the broadest such chasm in recent historical memory. This guy makes Bill Clinton look like a paragon of integrity and follow-through.”
