  1. Jeff G. says:

Me, I just wonder if they allow the Mexicans to teach that stuff in their schools…?

  2. JHoward says:

And we’re all trailer park intellectuals, Jeff.

  3. Slartibartfast says:

Your competent government in action. Behold, and awwww.

  4. I’m sure glad we dodge that bullet with Palin.

    That line never gets old.

  5. JHoward says:

Secretary of misstatements. I think she’d make a fine president.

  6. Slartibartfast says:

Sorry. I meant, this is your competent foreign policy in action.

  7. Slartibartfast says:

Guess we dodged a bullet in electing another intellectually incurious president, eh?

  8. JHoward says:

    God love yuh, Hilary.

  9. TheGeezer says:

Stateside post-modern leftists could care less about offending Catholic religionist peasants. They’ll all be murdered in the new order anyway. That’s why the press doesn’t cover this: it is a non-event in their worldview and political context.

Now, the Hillary and Obama and ilk will avoid offending North Korea and Cuba at all costs, which means they will appease us into near oblivion where it matters.

  10. TheGeezer says:

Stateside post-modern leftists could care less

    should be

Stateside post-modern leftists couldn’t care less

    Hast makes waste.

  11. Jeffersonian says:

Not only did they get the “Reset” translation wrong, the pushbutton they used is for an emergency stop, not a reset.

  12. alppuccino says:

“And hey, for all you North Koreans watching, go tell Big Jong that we’re ready to talk. Just call the number on your screen.”

  13. Benedick says:

Hillary needs an Easy Button. Perhaps one labeled, “CHINGA TU MADRE, MARICON!!!”

  14. mojo says:

I can’t believe that stupid bint actually let the Bambi administration co-opt her. Dumb, Hilly, real dumb.

As for the Virgin of Guadalupe – hey, look on the bright side. At least the Most High Artiste was working in a fairly standard format back then. These days, it’s toast and mold patches and such.

  15. Jeff G. says:

    Heh.

If God is going to reach Americans, he should do so through their weakness.

  16. royf says:

Geezer I agree with you premise about the leftist/media world view, but there is only one reason the press didn’t cover it.

    IT WASN’T BUSH !!!

  17. Abe Froman says:

Biden apparently just thanked Spanish PM Zapatero for his help in Iraq, forgetting that the guy not only withdrew his troops the moment he took office but actively lobbied other nations to do the same thing.

  18. Jeff G. says:

    Have a link, Abe?

  19. Abe Froman says:

    Hopefully I did this right.

  20. It’s on Hot Air, Jeff, near the bottom of the right-hand column.

(by the way, their stock photo of Biden is one of those things that never stops being Teh Funnay)

  21. Sdferr says:

Obama will be forced to decide whether to commit US forces to a full scale offensive war in Pakistan within the next 18 months. Will he choose to fight and win or will he choose to largely turn away, “air-raiding villages”, as he put it during the campaign, and let India do the hard fighting, along with incurring the attendant risks of a nuclear exchange?

Oddly enough, his choice will be made easier if al Qaeda successfully attacks the US on his watch. The renewed anger of the American public will force upon him the impetus and the backing he will need to carry the fight forward. In the absence of another such outrage, he will neither have the spine nor the understanding to carry out an offensive war. His current policy toward the multifaceted Taliban/al Qaeda complex, however, is a failure before it begins.

  22. JBean says:

Cotton candy or Twitter? I guess He could do both, being God and all.

Hey, I’m a Catholic, but not much into icons, so I really didn’t know much about Our Lady of Gaudalupe, except that it’s a very special icon to Mexicans and other Hispanics. More of a cultural thing, really — which makes Hillary’s gaffe even more cringeworthy and ignorant.

  23. geoffb says:

“Biden apparently just thanked Spanish PM Zapatero for his help in Iraq, “

We must remember who was helped by Zapatero’s actions. Then it becomes quite clear why he was thanked by Biden.

  24. mojo says:

    “God on Twitter”…

    OOOH! OOOH!

You, Jenkins – GET ME TREACHER!

  25. Puck says:

Well, since Catholics tend not to blow shit up when they get offended, I’m thinking it’s like, no harm, no foul, for Team Hopenchange.

  26. B Moe says:

Biden apparently just thanked Spanish PM Zapatero for his help in Iraq, forgetting that the guy not only withdrew his troops the moment he took office but actively lobbied other nations to do the same thing.

He didn’t forget, Biden was trying to do the same thing at the time.

  27. geoffb says:

“Well, since Catholics tend not to blow shit up”

    IRA?

  28. MarkD says:

I’m surprised she didn’t give them a taste of American culture. Perhaps she couldn’t find a piss Madonna.

  29. Puck says:

Grrrrrrr to geoffb @29. How about “Since contemporary non-IRA Catholics tend not to blow shit up…” etc. Better?

  30. Pablo says:

Perhaps she couldn’t find a piss Madonna.

Oh, that’s gotta be in here somewhere.

  31. geoffb says:

I have nothing against Catholics, or Irish. It just would have been a better comparison to have referred to beheading or suicide bombing. Blowing shit up isn’t specific to one group, lots of fanatic groups do it.

  32. ushie says:

It’s like, here we are in a Shakespeare tragedy, and all the characters except the Poles will be dead by the end of the play, but Joe Biden’s the comedy relief.

    Thumbs down.

  33. mojo says:

    Swedes, not Poles.

  34. Considering the importance of this figure, it’s surprising she didn’t know. Wasn’t her campaign director Patty Solis — with an emphasis on getting the hispanic vote? Anyway, someone could easily google this stuff before her trip. England should be really interesting. Teleprompter plugged in next to the teapot.

  35. I mean Junior. I guess he’s taking Joe, if anyone, not Hillary.
