The Republican party I’m thinking backslid on the core value of not putting dimbulbs in charge just cause of they are the same hue as our dirty socialist president.
Everyone’s known about the “hotness-gap” for years…
Just consider Hillz, McCaskill, Sebelius, or Granholm with Palin…
No.Contes.What-so-evah!
Palin is at least 4 orders of magnitude hotter than any of the other women I listed…
I mean, although there are typically a lot of nice young left leaning ladies at schools, thier outlook often changes with time and success. The party of Garafolo, Whoopie, Behar, and Streisand are not really a bunch of lookers…
The Republican party is part of the system of fat hog blowhards who want to get into the club and make their money. There’s not a public servant among them.
The Frontier Party proposes:
1. Limit Congress to 4 years in office.
2. Give them 8 years to make their jobs obsolete and close Washingto D.C. (probably convert it to prison – Kurt Russell reprises Pliskin role)
3. Lower Congress salary to $85K per year.
4. Put all three branch members on the Tax-times 2 program. (Whatever they think the highest tax rate should be, times it by 2 for the D. C. hogs)
5. Keep our representation local and debates and votes take place over the internet.
6. Eliminate capital gains tax
7. And finally close Washington D.C. (I know I said this twice, but The Frontier Party believes it’s that good of an idea)
I don’t know what that means, Darleen. I just think it’s clear that this moron wouldn’t know a state’s right if it bit him on his stupid affirmatively active buttock. He’s not in charge of marriage. States are. If this dumb cowardly piece of shit really really wants to have a point of view he can start with mustering one up about Arlen and those skanky bitches from Maine.
Um…. Steele is on record NOT supporting a Fed defense of marriage act because he DOES think marriage is a state matter
I was listening to Gallagher that morning, to the whole Steele interview. No, I don’t agree with Steele that CU’s are “the same” as marriage (and they argued about it) but I understand his position knowing his background as someone who almost became a Catholic priest and is still a strong practicing Catholic. He was arguing the differences (or lack there of) between marriage and civil unions, he did not make any statement of a federal ban on cu’s.
What makes you think he’s an AA pick? See, that’s the insidious legacy of AA … even “people of color” who are fully qualified for their positions can be dismissed by others because there is doubt.
Hmm. Michael Steele could very well be an AA pick even though I think he’s totally qualified to head the RNC and is better than the other candidates. (Low bar, but whatever.) Let’s say I have a genius black guy with actual accomplishments who is eloquent, thoughtful, and well respected. And then I hire him for a position solely because he’s black. He’s an AA pick even though he doesn’t deserve to be. I do think Michael Steele was picked because he was black, and I think it’s a distateful me-too-ism that has rotted the Republican party.
I couldn’t honestly say that Steele has shown any courage or intelligence or leadership to warrant his position. I do think that it’s very likely that whoever else they would have picked would have been cowardly and stupid as well. But that’s not the point. The point is that while historical shitstain Barack Obama is actively implementing a Soros agenda in furtherance of the demolition of free enterprise and individual liberty and the stature of our once-great little country, dumbfuck Michale Steele wants to yammer about teh gay marriage.
Now is truly the time for core principles, not phony ones you make up so your white friends what treat you so good will like you more better. The way you affirm States’ Rights is you affirm States’ Rights. Given the opportunity to do that, Michael Steele failed. He did more than fail, he lied. He said that the one of the founding principles of the United States is marriage between a man and a woman. He’s either very very stupid or his integrity is on par with Baracky’s. Because that is not true what he said.
He is a disastrous choice for party chair I think if he can further degrade my sympathies for the Republican party on such a beautiful Saturday morning.

George W. Bush was the last great public servant. There are no more.

I think Rule #5 is a Sunday thing, Dan. RSM picked up on mine last Sunday, and sent me a lot of hits.

8. Abolish the lobby (pursuant #5).
9. Abolish personal income tax. Federal funds are derived from state sales taxes.
10. Abolish the DHHS and all other entitlement programs.

Michael Steele is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.
