Now, as an al-Qaida field commander sporting a bandolier of bullets, he is threatening the United States and has been hailed by a militant Web site as a veteran guerrilla and “a fomenter of war.”

NPR says Saudi Arabia’s rehab program is better than Yemen’s. But Saudi has easier terrorists to work with. Can a jihadist be rehabilitated? Maybe kinda but it’s really risky. Blah blah blah. Sounds like they’re trying to give Baracky some breathing room cause of how he talked about how much he wanted to free his little terrorist friends and shut down Guantanamo but now that he’s actually in charge he’s thinking that maybe that might have unpleasant consequences. Dumbass. It would be awkward if NPR didn’t have his back on this though I guess. Lots of their old narratives aren’t any good for anybody no mores.

That’s an extremely low bar to clear. The first phase of Yemen’s “rehab” program ended when the subjects escaped through a tunnel between their cells and a nearby mosque. The chief of the mosque was the guy put in charge of rehabbing the jihadis.
So, call me a bigot or racist or whatever you want, but as far as I’m concerned the only reliable “rehab” program for jihadis involves a small-caliber pistol round applied while they perform one of their daily prayers.

I judge a rehab program by its recidivism rate, and yours sounds like the best.
“Yemeni rehab program” and “lying around in coffeehouses all day chewing qat” seem to exclude each other. Unless they don’t.
