Denise just called from MD Anderson. The MRI results were very good, with no evidence of disease progression noted by the radiologist. Denise also sat and reviewed the scans with Matthew’s neurologist (he’s having an EEG today, his visit with the neuro-oncologist is Thursday) and they looked good to their eyes as well.
We are so thankful to God for his mercies and grace, and in particular these wonderful results today. We are thankful to you for your prayers for our family.
Update: Matthew celebrates his 7th birthday tomorrow. May God grant him less incident for the rest of his days.
That’s really good news. I got confused by her use of the word progression and had to go read the backstory again. Maybe I’m not getting it right but I think she means there’s no sign the brain tumor has come back, which if I’ve got that right then today must be the first day she’s been able to breathe in like forever.
I think that’s exactly right, hf.
Amen.
Glad things are looking better for the Ragers.
Almost right, though this happens every few months (maybe it’s six now, used to be three) and they get PMS (Pre MRI Syndrome) every time a scan is coming. Hopefully, they’ll be stretching that out to 12 months soon, and the process will become a bore. Boring is good.
