My first thought was that William H. Macy joined the wrong military unit.

Tipper, Elizabeth, what’s the difference?

Logistics is crucial. A good recognition for service given and for how the spear-tip gets to do its thing globally.
In Ceasar’s ‘Commentaries’ he writes about the necessity of proper supply, and how it drives strategy and battles. Washington’s greatest struggles weren’t the pitched battles, it was to acquire the supplies to keep the Continental Army together. Marlborough’s march to Blenheim was highlighted by his attention to having supplies prepositioned along the march so that he could fight when he got to Bavaria. Without attention to logistics even the finest fighting force will be defeated.
Re the Heinz ad, now I’m afraid to avow my longstanding hatred of mayonnaise, lest some doof use it to accuse me (again) of homophobia.
McGehee – just confess that all of your taste is in your mouth, shake your head sadly, and continue with whatever it was you were going to do.
Mayo is a condiment – not a political stance. Although my mom has a great recipe for salad dressing that involves ketchup! Bless my soul, is it good!
