Dream Ticket [Dan Collins]

Hillary eyes VP slot.

Okay. I said it would never happen. I was wrong.

Guess that takes care of the assassination problem, eh?

    Nightmare Ticket.

  2. nishizonoshinji says:

hehe, Team Obama says she cant be vetted for VP unless bill releases his donor name list for his library, and for his paid speeches.
    like that is gonna happen.
    ;)

  3. Spies, Brigands, and Pirates - UMBA says:

SAN ANGELO, Texas (CNN) — Parents of hundreds of children seized from a polygamist sect are free to begin picking up their kids under an order a Texas judge issued Monday.
Judge Barbara Walther told the Department of Family and Protective Services to allow parents to come get the 440 children starting at 10 a.m. CT (11 a.m. ET) Monday.

    Suck it, nishit.

  4. thor says:

    Hillary’s a greasy skid mark.

    Nishi – stop following me.

  6. nishizonoshinji says:

i predicted this, why hilary couldn’t be the candidate.
ill have to look for a link.

  7. Ouroboros says:

“Guess that takes care of the assassination problem, eh?”

Better.. a chance for a good marksman to score a twofer.. =)

  8. nishizonoshinji says:

    im not followin u!
    im stalking
u take the high road, an ill take the low road
an ill get to swaneee before ye!

  9. Roboc says:

Don’t bet on it Dan. Hillary really, really, really wants to be President. I don’t think her being Vice-President would get in her way. O may want to hire a food taster. Plus there’s nothing stopping people from writing in her name on the ballot, is there?

  10. nishizonoshinji says:

    Dan! SBP is a spammer!

  11. nishizonoshinji says:

i already ‘splained on 3 threads with links, SBP.
i don’t care as long as the FLDS systemic childrape cycle gets busted up.
    ;)

  12. Enoch_Root - BONC also says:

Nishi – the only request I have for my stalkers is to keep it interesting.

  13. thor says:

Dan, O!‘s victory calls for a toast. What’s the best brand of ripple a man can buy?

  14. nishizonoshinji says:

if hillary is not on the ballot….does do they have to release bills presidential papers that are being held?

  15. Dan Collins says:

    Mad Dog 20/20, Thor.

  16. Salt Lick says:

    CHANGE you can believe in!

  17. happyfeet says:

This is just another story before the polls close to help suppress turnout for Hillary so the AP can limit her gains on that popular vote thinger. They’ve been doing it all day.

  18. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – In your case thor I’d recommend a well aged formaldehyde….

-I don’t think you were wrong. The press is playing this up for the sensationalism. Its pure media hype. How they hate each other, let me count the ways. She will try to force herself on the ticket, holding as she does, the reins of a killer coalition in her camp. Its going to be a bloodbath bitch. In some ways nothing is settled, still.

  19. Roboc says:

O will be sucking back a forty of OE8(Old English 800).

  20. Carin- says:

It’s never gonna happen- the Dream ticket. As much as I would it could be.

  21. B Moe says:

I dunno, Carin. Look at that list of possibilities at the link, there is a lot of entertainment potential there.

  22. sashal says:

as much as I hate to see Clintons back in WH even as VP,
We have to admit that with that ticket McCain will be slaughtered in November.
We all should pray that the old lecher, does not have anymore Monicas as an interns or that the doctor will not prescribe the blue pill due to his heart conditions…

  23. nishizonoshinji says:

BBH, isn’t the funding for bill library and speaking tour a deal breaker?
if she releases them she becomes a tremendous liability on the ticket, and if she doesn’t then she cant vet.
or even worse, if they broke after she got on the ticket….

  24. Roboc says:

I’m waiting to hear that NOW President, Kim Gandy, has just committed suicide.

  25. Kirk says:

Seriously, who in their right mind would want to be the only person standing between Hillary and the Presidency?

Obama and the sharpest tool in the shed, but he ain’t a blathering idiot either. Much.

  26. nishizonoshinji says:

ima go join in the kossack joy for a bit.
bet the “dry pussy brigade” is awful sad.
    ;)

  27. SarahW says:

    I still have hopeâ„¢ for changeâ„¢.

You may say I’m a dreamer.

  28. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – sashal – Bill was out in the press today, lambasting both the media bias for Obama, and Obama himself, saying “Thats what he does….gets other people to slime her….”

    – All that is true, but not something you blab publicly if you’re looking for a VP slot.

    – At this point, Obama would have to admit hes gutless to ask her aboard, even sans all the other negatives, just one being that the elite media have changed where Bill is concerned, and now as a group they hate him. What good things would that lend to Obama’s campaign?

  29. Roboc says:

That’s what I’m saying Karl. As Vice-President she’ll have opportunity, motive, etc. Sounds like a Law and Order episode in the making. Dick Wolf has probably written half the script already.

  30. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – If your name is Ringo, they might even say you’re a drummerâ„¢.

  31. Toby Petzold says:

I am nauseated. Have been since early this afternoon. There’s just no way, is there? Jaysus!

  32. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Seriously. Not that I can divine Toby. From every standpoint you can look at, it plays as the alien versus the Terminator, as far as personalities.

    – Besides Bills “fuck you O!” antics, she even intentionally stole a good deal of his victory thunder today, simply by dropping a hint in a conference call that she “[would] be open to a unifyinf ticket”. Thats got to piss you off if you’ve just won a primary and you want to revel in the press coverage and enjoy things. Most think it was intentional.

    – Dream ticket? Nope. Don’t think so.

  33. Toby Petzold says:

Thanks for the pep talk, Big. But it’s so crazy, it might just work. McCain needs to hit a homerun with his pick. But, tonight, he just needs to say some nice stuff about Hillary.

  34. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

No way she gets on the ticket. During the General the Dem candidates will HAVE to go on FoxNews. They’re #1 by a huge margin and it’s a chance to speak to the biggest audience. They have to.

So Baracky and Hillary are sittting next to eachother behind the desk on FoxNews Sunday and Chris Wallace says, “Senator Clinton, let me ask you…in several speeches over the last four months you’ve stated, and I quote, ‘Senator Obama does not pass the Commander and Chief test.’ What has changed in just a few months, and why would you agree to be number two behind someone you’ve said is unqualified to be President?”

You’d hear the “cackle” and then…crickets. No friggin’ way she’s on the Dem ticket.

  35. kelly says:

    All: step back a moment.

There’s no fucking way on earth MichellO allows this to happen. Zero. ZerO!

  36. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

“There’s no fucking way on earth MichellO allows this to happen. Zero. ZerO!”

Devil’s Advocate: Unless Hillary has “!THE TAPE!” (cue scary music). Hill says, “Put me on the ticket and the tape goes away. Don’t and I release it.”

    That’s Clinton politics 101.

But yeah, I still don’t think she’ll get it.

  37. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Lamont. They wouldn’t ever be seen together. Thats a no-no in campaign strategy, and on the spot destroys plausible deniability, or arguments of “context”. What you describe would be a reporters dream, and thats why you will never see it.

    – But even so, the list of potentially embarrassing questions would fill a good part of Bills library. Its going to be hard enough for Obama to field the sorts of miseries his own followers have set him up for in the fall, without adding even the potential of what you’re bringing up.

  38. cranky-d says:

Let me point out that the Hil-meister has said she will campaign for the Dem candidate whoever it is. Would she not be asked the same questions in that case? I think Baracky will pay off her campaign debts under the condition that she stays out of it entirely. Not that I think Shrillary can actually shut her yap, but Obama can still dream.

  39. kelly says:

C’mon, Hill’s been willing to play “Number Two” since she hitched up with BillyJeff. She was co-president once, she ain’t goin’ for dat! And BarryO already has a co-president. Hill knows her best chance is to build up more Senate cred/inventory various skeletons in various closets and quietly let them be known, then run against BarryO in 2012. I’ll take any bets, here, folks.

  40. nishizonoshinji says:

how can she run against O in 2012 when O will be the incumbent?

  41. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Obama, in my view kelly, is running an “Indianna Jones” sort of campaign. Hes either going to find a way to quiet the HillBeast, garner a fairly optimistic number of crossovers, and a few other home runs he’ll need to hit, or hes going to fall flat on his ass and fade from the national scene, same as Kerry, but with at least some flare and style.

    – I don’t believe he’ll make it. Too many miracles demanded in a row, and too many giant rocks in the closet. So if she does run, it won’t be against anyone we’re talking about now, because McCain will retire.

  42. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

BBH: I hear you but, even if it was just Hillary that Wallace was talking to…there’s video of all the shit she’s said and Fox would show it. No “context” or “plausible deniabiltiy” about it. Plus she’d have to answer for calling him “naive” on foreign policy (for wanting to talk to the thugs) during a Dem debate.

Way too many Hillary vs. Obama bells for them to un-ring which keeps Dems completely defensive, stumbling and bumbling, until November.

  43. kelly says:

You really think O!‘s incumbency would mean all that much to the Hildebeast? Really? Raw, nekkid (sorry) lust for power is in her DNA, pal.

  44. kelly says:

“Hes either going to find a way to quiet the HillBeast”

Can you say “Supreme Court Justice Clinton?” Yes, we can!

  45. B Moe says:

how can she run against O in 2012 when O will be the incumbent?

    Unbelievable.

  46. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – kelly, that was really an unfriendly thing to do, using the words lust and hillery in the same sentence. Some of us havn;t had dinner yet.

    – I think I agreed with the embarrassment aspect of your senario Lamont. Just made the point that there are all sorts of reasons you never see candidates together unless its on the convention floor at the very end.

  47. Roboc says:

That didn’t stop Ted Kennedy in 1980, nishit! Jimmy Carter was a weak president, and Teddy took it to the convention. Remember if O pulls a Jiffy presidency it’ll be Nacht der langen Messer all over again, and Hillary will be wearing the Brown Shirt.

  48. Big D says:

how can she run against O in 2012 when O will be the incumbent?

Ahh….To be young and naive again

  49. kelly says:

And, NB: there is no “tape.” Her Thighness has been playing a game of chicken with the O! man and the Dems. Game over, man. If Thunderthighs is seen as usurping the Messiah’s coronation, blacks stay home and she loses the presidency. Until 2012, when she rises, undead.

  50. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Actually Big D, it would be nice to try the “young” again, and leave the “naive” home this time.

  51. Big D says:

    Kelly,

This woman has more lives than a cat. No one has gotten rich by writing the Clinton political obituary. Fun to watch though

  52. Big D says:

Anyone else just totally transfixed when Megyn Kelly is on screen?

  53. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Yes, and she tried really really really hard to get McClean to spill her guts. Those few times I was paying attention to what she was saying anyway.

  54. Roboc says:

    Thor must have popped!

  55. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Just to add to the festivities, all three, McCain, Hillery, and Pfleger, are planning on making speeches tonight.

    – None of these would portend of something good for Obama, and one might even be a disaster.

    – We’re just about half way through this campaign cycle, and the floor is already awash in political blood.

  56. Rob Crawford says:

Just to add to the festivities, all three, McCain, Hillery, and Pfleger, are planning on making speeches tonight.

    In order:

o “I will not stoop to the level of questioning my opponent’s judgment.”

o “Who said the race is over? The matter of the Florida and Michigan delegates still has to go to the credentials committee.”

o “[gibberish] RACISTS! [garbled] HATE! [untranslatable] CENSORSHIP!”

  57. kelly says:

Apologies to all for writing anything regarding Hill and including the words, “nekkid” and “lust.” I’m sure anyone perusing PW post-prandially must be searching for some relief for that small bit of puking up in the back of your mouths.

    Again, apologies.

Hopefully no one ate cottage cheese for dinner.

    [ducks for cover]

  58. nishizonoshinji says:

do you know what i just realized….i hate mccain’s voice…its a whiny, querulous old ppl voice.
the more he uses it the more i dislike him.
man, he looks like an animated corpse.
just what we need, an undead for president.

hahaha now the crowd is chanting Romney, oh, please, please, pick romney.
that will a bloodbath the dems can enjoy.
    ;)

  59. Rob Crawford says:

You know what I just realized? I hate spoiled little brats who think their bigotries and ignorance make for compelling commentary.

  60. nishizonoshinji says:

Thaaats not change we can believe in…smirk…blink….
    euwwwwwww
    its a frickin tape loop.
what, are there like 20 people there?

  61. nishizonoshinji says:

that singsong delivery is a loozer too.
he sounds like hes talking to preschool kids.
    really, really….slllloooooowwww

  62. kelly says:

Well, I had to turn it off.

    We’re screwed. Completely. Royally. Screwed.

    What a prick.

  63. nishizonoshinji says:

haha, an he won’t even go for a 1 term commitment like Ponnuru wants!
    hawhawhaw

  64. nishizonoshinji says:

  67. B Moe says:

    euwwwwwww
    its a frickin tape loop.

Talk about a complete and utter lack of self-awareness…

  68. B Moe says:

    We’re screwed. Completely. Royally. Screwed.

    Yup.

  69. JD says:

Tonight is Meme #8, and the nishit’s memes 1-7 have been proven to be disingenuous fact-free piles of steaming cow dung.

  70. JD says:

That “tape loop” crack is breath-taking in its lack of self awareness.

  71. Roboc says:

Barry, if she mentions “suffragette”, watch you back!

  72. datadave says:

it’s called the Dream Ticket for a reason.

  73. Democratic leadership and pundits are suggesting that an Obama/Clinton ticket might be bad for Obama, he can do better. We’ll see how this turns out. Personally I’d see that ticket to combine the baggage both bring, which isn’t exactly going to lift Obama’s chances.

  74. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – No JD. kelly is right. We have no candidate. I’ll do like I intended to in the first place…..write in Rudi/Condi. For whatever fucking reason passes for brains in the dark rooms of the RNC, the party geniuses have decided to tank this year.

  75. nishizonoshinji says:

haha, zomg, that has to one of the most gawdawful speeches i have ever seen.

Axelrod said she cant vet unless bill discloses his mystery donors.
and once the public sees who they are…..ffffffftttt…..zooooooom…….crashcrashcrash.
    you wish.
    aint gonna happen.

  76. TmjUtah says:

Excuse me, but has Senator Clinton actually withdrawn from the race? I hear her campaign is suspended.

I hear she’s laying off staff.

    Where is the concession speech?

  77. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – She didn’t conceed.

  78. nishizonoshinji says:

    that wud be here, Tmj

    Andrea Mitchell says on MSNBC:

“Clinton advisers are telling me that she wants to sit down very quickly with Barack Obama, and she wants to do this in a private way.”

“She doesn’t want to concede or embrace him until she’s had a chance to sit down with him and explore what’s on his mind, and her mind.”

    ;)

  79. She doesn’t want to concede

    so, no concession yet.

  80. nishizonoshinji says:

    But O can’t take her on…..she’s anti-change.
she would invalidate his whole message.
    she’s radioactive.
    ;)

  81. nishizonoshinji says:

haha, oops…..central to the health care program…cabinet position
    genius
    hes spikin her guns

  82. nishizonoshinji says:

    poooooorrrr hillary
    no VP for u!
    hahahaha

  83. Roboc says:

“She doesn’t want to concede or embrace him until she’s had a chance to sit down with him and explore what’s on his mind, and her mind.”

And never the twain shall meet!

  84. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Obama was doing pretty good, and then he just blew it. even the crowd was embarrassed. Hre ran the “100 year” bullshit. There must be a part of him thats not so sure of himself, or someone in his camp that still is using 1970 tactics. that screed is a loser.

  85. Pablo says:

Oh, yeah! What that dude what can’t afford to drive around looking for a shitty job needs is higher fuel standards for new cars.

    O!

  86. Pablo says:

The change we need! Fuel efficient cars for people who can’t afford to buy them!

    YES WE CAN!!!
    YES WE CAN!!!
    YES WE CAN!!!
    YES WE CAN!!!

  87. TmjUtah says:

    Floor fight.

She’ll meet Obama in the next day or two. On her ground. They’ll talk. There will be photographs.

    See you in Denver.

  88. Roboc says:

It’s Obamaclaus, something in the bag for everyone.

  89. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – His timing was badly off tonight. The crowd kept peaking their applause too soon, and he kept going on, and when he finally finished they were all caught by surprise.

  90. B Moe says:

    Premature adulation?

  91. TmjUtah says:

    Hudna.

Earlier in the day, Clinton told congressional colleagues she would be open to joining Obama’s ticket as his vice presidential nominee. But in her speech, the former first lady stopped short of ending or suspending her campaign. She did say she was committed to a united Democratic Party moving forward.

The guns fall silent. But if you listen close you can hear the tramp of feet as ammunition is brought forward and the trenches are repaired.

This ain’t over. Not even close.

The media is pretending it is. So’s Obama, because he can do nothing else; he’s trapped in the narrative.

  92. Roboc says:

    Community Organizer to Planet Healer!

  93. Carin -BONC says:

I’m just saying, there is no way O! takes Hillary as a VP choice. And, if he doesn’t, he’s doomed.

  94. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – #91 – Oral dysfunction.

  95. nishizonoshinji says:

tmj, she wants to talk…prolly wednesday.
    he will offer sec health.
she will mebbe hold out for VP.
    i doubt it.
it would be committing seppuku with the democratic party.

i think she will take sec health.
one reason she wants the VP is bills unreleased presidential papers.
once those are out, the clintons are done.

  96. nishizonoshinji says:

    that was a beautiful speech.
    vision.

  97. B Moe says:

I heard something about Bill Clinton’s records maybe being an issue with Hillary getting the VP slot, did you hear anything about that, nishi?

  98. Carin -BONC says:

    Hopey-change too?

Sorry, I missed all the speeches. My hubby doesn’t let me watch tv now-a-days. I heard a bit of Hilldabeast on NPR while driving. She never did get any better at the public speaking thing.

  99. Roboc says:

“Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, but it expressed a courage that is little seen in this day and age.”-Olsen Johnson

  100. Carin -BONC says:

Will Hillary out, what- oh what- job is Jenny Granholm gonna get? She was shilling for Clinton, and she’s fucked-up Michigan but good. I figured she didn’t care, since she was gonna just move to DC …. but Hill out … I’m just saying, Jenny may want to have a few drinks tonight. Michigan’s got ANOTHER deficit … may go as high as 500 MILLION (they raised business taxes last fall by 20% which was supposed to solve all this stuff….) lol

Anyway, Jenny may want to throw back a few. Future’s not looking so bright.

OTOH – Kwame and mama never endorsed anyone, so they’re sitting pretty.

  101. MayBee says:

    You are wrong, Carin.
I heard Barack Obama a few days ago, and Michigan is Bush’s fault. If Obama wins, she will become a succesful Governor after only 6 years. Kind makes me teary, just thinking about it.

  102. nishizonoshinji says:

damn..me an goldberg are sympatico agin

What Obama Wanted To Say [Jonah Goldberg]

    What he said re Hillary:

…And you can rest assured that when we finally win the battle for universal health care in this country, she will be central to that victory.

    What he wanted to say:

…And you can rest assured that when we finally win the battle for universal health care in this country, she will be central to that victory, which is why I pledge to you right now: I will appoint Hillary Clinton my Secretary of Health Human Services, no matter what opposition that invites.

  103. sashal says:

great speech, but did anybody notice this phrase:
    “college education is the birthright”
    Wha?!!!!

  104. nishizonoshinji says:

i feel so itchy after i channel that damn goldberg.
    im goin for a shower

sashal, thats just bread and circuses pandering.
    like autism from vaccines.
O talked about the 40percent, clinging to guns and religion.
    he knows the score

  105. nishizonoshinji says:

    well.
the whole health sec dealio seems to have escaped hannity and rove.
they’re acting like Burke in Aliens, hey, lets build a fire, sing some songs.
or mebbe they just want hildog on the ticket so bad they can taste it.
    ;)

  106. Pablo says:

O talked about the 40percent, clinging to guns and religion.

You’re clinging to guns and religion, twodigit.

  107. nishizonoshinji says:

sure, pablo hunnie, w/e you say.
    ;)

  108. B Moe says:

great speech, but did anybody notice this phrase:
    “college education is the birthright”

You betcha, sash. You know what else are birthrights? Healthcare, retirement, housing, food, transportation, pretty much everything except your right to the money you earn. You only get to keep as much of that as Obama don’t need.

  109. B Moe says:

Why the hell would Hillary trade a Senate seat for SecHealth, nishfong?

  110. Pablo says:

    Muslimah w/ a Remington, ain’t it, twodigit?

  111. Pablo says:

Me, I got no religion and I don’t talk about my guns. Nor do I cling to them. I just keep ’em where I can find ’em if need be, like my dent puller.

  112. nishizonoshinji says:

#110 dur, B Moes, hillarycare….a chance at redemption in history.

#111 a ruger an a browning…i learned to shoot skeet with that browning when i was 7. my da gave it to me when i got my first apartment. i like guns. i talk about them whenever i can.

  113. B Moe says:

Even assuming Obama is going to scrap his plan and let Hillary get all the credit, do you really think Hillary would give up a guaranteed Senate Seat to serve at Obama’s whim? On the off chance that she can somehow promote a plan that got shoved up her ass as first lady?

  114. TmjUtah says:

    nish –

tmj, she wants to talk…prolly wednesday.
    he will offer sec health.
she will mebbe hold out for VP.
    i doubt it.
it would be committing seppuku with the democratic party.

As long as you are tossing around bushido references…

    …he will offer sec health…

    Aikido much, nish?

Teh Narrative currently running is something like this: O wins. Hillary! gracefully acknowledges fate, sucks it up, smiles/hugs all around. On to victory in November!

    Niggling little details:

    1. If Obama owns the field… why is it incumbent for him to offer Clinton anything?

    2. No delegate votes have been cast. There’s more than enough tactical fog concerning credentialing drifting against the media wind to make any questions from the floor… troublesome, to say the least.

    3. Hillary hasn’t even pretended to concede. She’s announced a bank holiday for the troops.

    4. Further, she’s made sure that everybody understands how the primary results on the Dem side stack up on a national level.

In war or politics, the conflict does not end until one side will not or cannot toe the mark.

The votes aren’t counted yet. Obama has to be God for the next couple of months. Even with the media attached to him at groin level, that’s a tough order In These Modern Times.

    It ain’t over till Denver.

It is also important to remember that for all Hillary’s talk about a united front, if Obama wins the nomination it is in her interest for him to lose the election. That would put her in a much better position in ’12, and you can bet your ass she is thinking about that.

    – Yes. And you can also bet your ass the O! people are worride about it. Deeply worried. I’m still visualizing thousands of screeming Feminazi’s, their ranks being replenished every 3 hours by fresh troops. It may take a week just to get the plank read, and a handful of keynote speakers out of the way. Floor fights, floor to balloon bags.

I heard Barack Obama a few days ago, and Michigan is Bush’s fault. If Obama wins, she will become a succesful Governor after only 6 years. Kind makes me teary, just thinking about it.

I don’t know … Jenny was really pulling for Hillary. I think O may leave her cheese in the wind.

    Even Detroit’s mayor didn’t endorse O.
