Old School [Dan Collins]

If you can get past the Coobonics, the message is worthwhile, I think.

That’s not the Cookie Monster. That’s a cheesey white liberal with his hand up a puppet’s ass.

  2. Dan Collins says:

No, haps, this was part of his public service after that arrest in Houston.

  3. cranky-d says:

Political correctness has ruined the cookie monster.

Funny. CM recorded that video in his hay-day, 20 or 25 years ago. This is not new footage…

Of course, it was always a cheesy white liberal with a hand up CM’s ass!

    It was for the children!

Cute.. but I cannot stand the pervasive influence of Rap/Hip Hop, of black culture in general, in our society.. Cannot stand the idea that all things non-white are cool and great, hip and to be admired… and all things white are ‘old school’..

How about Cookie Monster doing a video aimed at black youth to reinforce the idea that being smart and excelling in school is da bomb or crunk or whatever they say now…? That speaking proper English isnt just for whitey..? That working for a living and supporting one’s children is phat?

No I’m not racist.. got nothing against black people.. but the left just embraces all things black as good and refuses to even address the negative aspects of their sociology.. The ‘white’ msm wont touch it.. To their credit the black media (independents) are somewhat critical but they dont seem to get much exposure..

It’s time to make underachievement ‘uncool’.

    Largenfirm,
Yeah, I know it was a long time ago. That’s why the title. Personally, I feel that the CM peaked even before that. But it was the vegetable rights thing that made me think of the song. How far we’ve come since those dark, unenlightened days, eh? Cultural suicide watch-wise, I mean.
