CNN’s Nancy Grace has picked him as an “Extraordinary Parent,” and The Detroit News are going to run a story about the bike trekkers. It’s great that they’re beginning to break out of the blogosphere and into the MSM some, now. Below, Robert’s email:
Thank you Angela!
Everyone – if done correctly this could be spun into some serious PR for non-custodial parents and more. This will certainly help with the Equal Parenting Bike Trek.
I need everyone to PLEASE follow through on this and not for me but for all of us because many of us are extraordinary parents!!
PLEASE Rate this a 5 star and also comment by thanking Nancy Grace of CNN for recognizing non-custodial parents as being extraordinary parents. I think you may have to create an account which is a pain in the rear I will admit, HOWEVER if we all follow through on this it will send it to the top of the “i-Reports†and they will do an actual TV interview. If this happens which would require everyone to follow through, I would state that this is a win for all of us! So please let’s send this through the roof and if we can send traffic, comments and get high ratings. I will us this for more spin on the bike trek which will land more stories.
Also, on a side note I received a call from the Detroit News and they are FOR SURE going to run a story about the Bike Trek…I think this is the largest Michigan based newspaper (please correct me if I am wrong).
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR FOLLOWING THROUGH ON THIS!! Any responses or questions please do not email to entire group robertpedersen@robertpedersen.net
Angela sent them many pictures and for some reason they have one of my certificates instead of me with my kids…oh well guess I can’t complain.

Pablo? I think this is right up your alley.
Many fathers get an incredibly raw deal.
I just canned a long comment about this, because I realized that this ain’t Oprah.
You are all so lucky that I quickly realized that Oprah doesn’t reside here.
But so many fathers get SCREWED. It doesn’t matter what the real deal is, because divorce courts are mainly staffed by people who are too stupid to even give parking tickets.
When I walked into the pre-court “counseling”, the two women who were supposed to try and work it out between myself and my wife almost burned my hair off with their “fuck men” attitude.
We really do need a level playing field, but my experience does not lead me to believe that there is much hope.
Obvious carpet munchers should not be bureaucrats refereeing divorces.
Sorry, ladies. But it’s the infuriating truth. At least in my case.
I have been, and am still being screwed by two women who unabashadly hate men.
How cool is that? And I am not a dick. At one time in my life, I pretty much was. But you know what happened on the very day I decided that I shouldn’t be a dick anymore?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I’m not sure about the dynamics of this, but the day I started not being a “dick” was the day that no woman wanted anything to do with me!
Go figure!
I’m hoping tomorrow will be a better day. Ever have a day like this, where every nano-second just really pisses you off?
Tomorrow. I guess I just needed a day like this. I’m pretty sure that’s why they exist.
To keep us humble…
Yeah, Dog. These are top notch people. I met them on last years trek. They’re doing God’s work, though it sometimes seems like pissing up a rope.
