“What began as a noise disturbance complaint at a Utah County motel earlier this month may land three U.S. Secret Service agents in criminal court on allegations of misconduct involving a party with underage girls and alcohol,” Wintersports reports.
“Provo police and the Secret Service confirmed Thursday night that three out-of-state agents have been placed on administrative leave pending a criminal investigation.”
According to Mike Mower, assistant to the Provo mayor, police received a disturbance complaint during the early hours of Feb. 1 at the Western Inn motel, 40 W. 300 South, Provo.
Police arrived and handled the disturbance. But it wasn’t until five days later that police realized with whom they were dealing.
‘Subsequent information received approximately five days later indicated the possible misconduct by three Secret Service employees,’ Mower said.
Authorities are not commenting officially on what may have happened at the motel, but the Secret Service says it is serious enough to place all three Secret Service agents on administrative leave.
But a source close to the investigation told the Deseret News that the agents may have been partying with underage girls in the motel room and supplying them with alcohol.
Well, if you’re going to party with underage girls, the very least you can do is supply the alcohol. I mean, it’s not like they’re gonna bring it, right? Hell — a party with teenage girls where you don’t supply the tasty alcoholic beverages isn’t a party at all! ‘Cause let’s face it — alcohol gets the lovin goin’! Tipsy teens tend to wriggle and writhe themselves into quite a froth (I know — I was once a tipsy teen myself) on the juice. And Secret Service employees need the lovin, too!
‘On Feb. 1, three agents were sent back to their respective states for alleged misconduct,’ Secret Service public affairs agent Jim Mackin said.
[…] Mackin said his office is taking the matter very seriously. ‘We have a zero-tolerance policy, but we are waiting for the facts to be determined,’ he said.
What a shame it had to come to this, huh? A “zero-tolerance” policy on off-duty consensual randyness. I mean, if only prostitution were legal…

Probably-like those other federal employees in Wa state-

they are merely testing whether the DNA testing is accurate. It was a sting on a DNA specialist like the one in Oklahoma

It’s probably just a conspiracy to bash public employees
(Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility says the biologists have been caught up in political efforts to undermine the Endangered Species Act.
“They’re taking some misinformation and turning it into a campaign against public employees,” said PEER’s Eric Wingerter. “The reason they’re doing it is to create a chilling effect on other scientists working on endangered-species issues.”
