I don’t think that it is outside the realm of good taste to question the nature of Sullivan’s attraction to Obama.
As in, Sullivan plays the Haywood Nelson (Hay Hay Hay!) scenes of What’s Happening!! over and over, if you understand my meaning.
As in, I’m 99.9% sure that he has purposely numbed his off-hand and imagined that it was Obama’s own, handsome, manicured hand, if you understand my meaning.
As in, Sullivan has trolled on the downlow tip in D.C. for foot-long mulatto hot rod, if you understand my meaning.

But the woman has created sufficient doubt about whether Hillary was given the exact story in the first place. That’s enough to keep it from being another Tuzla.

Hillary got the salient details of the story wrong because she accepted an anecdote that fit her agenda without question. It was plausible ( after all, it matches what she KNOWS happens every day) and from a reputable, if mumbly and vague, story teller.
Married to Bill, she should be a better parser by now.
After I listened to the sheriff’s story, I realized even before any clarification in the press, that parts were actually lost in translation –
it seemed pretty clear to me that Trina Bechtel had AVOIDED one facility because of a previous debt – but was not actually “turned away.” This avoidance may or may not have contributed to the sad events that followed.
One reason I believed this, besides the sheriffs wording, is what I know about hosptial billing strategy in dealing with the uninsured and working poor. One reason this population is billed at much higher rates, sometimes many times higher rates, for the same service an insurer would pay, is not only the rate of bad debt, but is a *strategy* to make patients avoid returning to that particular hospital, so they will stick another one. If patients have have a large bill, or are sent scary demand letters carefully worded to say treatment will require upfront payment ( thought they will still be required to supply stabilizing treatment in an emergency regardless of ability to pay), the patient may think they will not be treated, or will not be treated well, or will simply be embarrassed, or expected to come up with cash on the spot that they could avoid if they went elsewhere, the patient will go to ANOTHER ED or hospital.
However, I think it’s probably true that this is something the woman took upon herself, that she was simply reluctant to seek care at that facility.
It may well be that this woman was misdiagnosed or received inferior care from the facility where she was seen, or that the family believes if she had been seen elsewhere the same mistakes that cost this woman her life would not have been made – if only from the good luck of having other doctors. The Sherriff seems to be hinting in the video record of his statement, that the Bleness facility that first actually treated her, before she was flown to a OSU hospital where she died, was less than it should have been.
Hard to tell what mistakes, if any, might have been without knowing all the facts.
I have my own theories which I’ll spare you.
What’s my point? If I have one, its simply that I see the same mistakes Hilary made by well-meaning people on the right, who find a story tailor made for a pet agenda and run with it, only to be embarrassed or to have to reshape the story later as facts are developed.

Isn’t this along the lines of Tip-gate (or a variation)? Hill’s peeps just kept digging a deeper hole and the waitress just wouldn’t SHUT UP! She kept talking to any outlet that would listen that Hillsy stiffed her.
