Too bad. One of the only worthwhile parts of Salon shuts down:
The Blog Report
The Blog Report closes its doors: Three years and 12,000 blog posts later, the Blog Report is no more – Regrettably, Salon.com has decided to close down the Blog Report, which I’ve been editing for more than two years, after inheriting the site from my friend Peter Daou. It’s been a pleasure highlighting content from the left, right, and center, from blogs with 15 readers or 150,000 readers, and everyone in between. Thanks to the Blog Report’s readers for all the support.
We wish Benen and Valenti good luck, and hope they’ll land on their feet somewhere where we can find them soon. Thanks for all the consideration, guys.

I never clicked on Salon links cause of what they did to Henry Hyde. That was evil.
Wonder if they’ll keep old posts on-line.
Maybe no one cares what Salon thinks of blogs anymore. Kind of like how no one cared what Brill’s Content thought of news coverage.
It wasn’t about what Salon “thought” of blogs — The Blog Report entries were very objective in their presentation. It didn’t rate or review the blogs themselves, but rather it functioned as a very useful “blog round up,” a one-stop clearing house for a daily quick fix and look-around at what was going on in the political blogosphere.
