    wow, you’re right Dan.
that was all in one week only, felt like the month for the amount of info and scandals.
No wonder many other important things went unnoticed by many.

  2. Pablo says:

    Heh.

    And don’t forget Ferraro.

  3. Semanticleo says:

“Massive karma dump. That was fun.”

Sad that entertainment value is all you have left.

  4. Jeffersonian says:

Go hit the Prozac bottle, Cleo, and it will be all better.

  5. Dan Collins says:

    Oh, no. I have values.

And I try to live up to them.

  6. Dan Collins says:

I am, however, a horrible person, who finds the politics of self-immolation amusing, and think it’s funny when the stage machinery malfunctions and gets exposed.

  7. Semanticleo says:

“I am, however, a horrible person, who finds the politics of self-immolation amusing”

    S’OK.

Survivors need a good sense of humor, but the ‘horrible’ self-deprecation works only if you see humor (then express it)
from all sides, rather than the selective mechanism you display,

  8. Pablo says:

Might want to throw Kwame Kilpatrick in here too. For Carin and/or the entertainment value.

It has been quite a week.

  9. Dan Collins says:

You don’t think I’ve been horrible to Queeg?

Why, you cut me to the quick!

  10. Semanticleo says:

Its’ the exception, which proves the rule.

  11. Semanticleo says:

    BTW;

    Is the ‘Jeremiad’ finally complete?

  12. JD says:

KKKleo is a tool. Just thought that I would get that out of the way.

    Because it trusted Clinton.

  13. Dan Collins says:

    Is the ‘Jeremiad’ finally complete?

Depends on whether any more fun material comes this way. I mean, you can’t make this shit up. Unless you’re mentally disturbed.

  14. How strong was Atlanta’s tornado? This strong.

  15. Rusty says:

Little Cleo will go to the wall singing the ‘international’ whilest being shot by the comrades he admires. Along with the other stuff- comedy gold.

  16. Semanticleo says:

“whilest being shot by the comrades he admires.”

‘Living in the Past” was a great album and it was recorded before
we discovered there wasn’t a Red under every bed. Those were the days……………

  17. Semanticleo says:

It’s worthy of federal research dollars to determine the causal link between conservative ideology and the ‘Boogeyman’.

Although some have traded Commies for Islam, some still can’t let go
    of ‘Masters of Deceit’.

Such subjects need to be studied ‘cold’.

  18. Dan Collins says:

I think that it’s true there are more important things to write about, though. For example, I believe that Karl and I will be writing more on this.

  19. guinsPen says:

    Like a man possessed
He walked to the pond and there undressed
    And gamboled in the sun
And he shrieked all the while, “I’m having fun
For the first time in my life!”

    Such a nice man
You’ll never guess what happened then
I only heard about it when
    The ambulance came

    While he was thus imbued
And was sitting in the nude
He was looking at a flower
And as the clock struck the hour of five
    They carted him away

  20. Carin says:

Thanks Pablo. A Fed Judge has ordered transcripts of the text-messages surrounding the time-period of the stiripper’s death :

U.S. District Judge Gerald Rosen told attorneys for the city and Greene’s family in an office meeting that he would allow the review and possible release of up to 18 months of messages from the paging devices of Kilpatrick; his bodyguards; his former chief of staff, Christine Beatty; Police Chief Ella Bully-Cummings, and more than two dozen others.

Either they are all innocent, or this is really really ugly.

  21. Dan Collins says:

Send me something, Carin, and I’ll post it on your behalf.

  22. capitano says:

    Is the ‘Jeremiad’ finally complete?

Nah, let’s have an analysis of the Perfect Storm Echo Chamber effect:

How hubris derailed L.Ron Obama — victim of the greatest echo chamber confluence in political history; far left law school academician meets Southside Chicago politician/community organizer meets Afrocentric Farrakhan ideology culminating in nutroot/MSM hero worship. …or, this might play in Peoria, but I’m betting against non-urban Pennsylvania.

  23. Semanticleo says:

“but I’m betting against non-urban Pennsylvania.”

    Unless the Amish vote.

  24. Pablo says:

Master of Deceit? You mean Bu$itler, right cleo?

  25. Semanticleo says:

Someone please tell Pablum there’s these things called, ‘books’.

  26. CraigC says:

Everybody’s going nuts on this Wright story, and it is a big story, but what about the corruption? I don’t mean here, I know you guys have been covering it, but you’d think at least Fox would be giving it more attention. I know there’s no chance the drive-bys will cover it.

  27. B Moe says:

It’s worthy of federal research dollars to determine the causal link between conservative ideology and the ‘Boogeyman’.

I just blew yogurt out my nose. Cleo you are priceless.

  28. RTO Trainer says:

    “Cleo you are priceless.”

True. Money can’t buy that kind of willful ignorance.

  29. Rob Crawford says:

One of the more amazing facets of contemporary politics is accusations of fearing “boogeymen” from the political wing that fears (an incomplete list):

    o “Bushitler”
    o “Theocons”
    o “Neocons”
    o “Big Pharma”
    o “Big Oil”
    o Corporations in general
o White males (particularly if they’re “angry”)
    o Global Warming Climate Change
    o “Silent Spring”
    o Fox News
    o Rush Limbaugh

I’d say it’s “projection”, but that’s an understatement.

  30. McGehee says:

Y’all have fun in here entertaining the troll. I’ll be over at the grown-ups table.

  31. Jeffersonian says:

I mean, why’d everyone get so down on David Duke? After all, he quit the Klan.

  32. TheGeezer says:

it was recorded before we discovered there wasn’t a Red under every bed. Those were the days……………

Ah, but recent declassified documents reveal that Communists were at least under many beds, especially if they belonged to a Roosevelt or Truman administration official. Has Cleo evef heard of the Venona Papers? They prove that McCarthy was mostly correct about Communist spy penetration into the government’s highest offices and positions, that it should have been a major concern, but that leftist sympathizers did not want investigated. The left has accepted and protected anti-Americanism for decades.

  33. J. Peden says:

it was recorded before we discovered there wasn’t a Red under every bed. Those were the days……………

Yeah, back before the Commies all became Democrats and University Profs. A logical tactic, really, since they realized they wern’t going to achieve Marx’s critical first majority as overt Communists.

Sparing the details, I knew/know extremely well the eventual leader of one[?] San Francisco element of the Party. But around 1984 the overt Party disbanded and this guy became a Democrat and went on to the University of Wisc., Milwaukee, where he specialized in – you guessed it – teaching the history of Vietnam. At the time I only wondered to myself, “Why the hell would anyone want to teach that?”

But I just kept quiet about the whole thing and he likewise seemed to think he was invisible.

  34. Log Cabin says:

“before we discovered there wasn’t a Red under every bed.”

Cleo, we realize that you and your ‘fellow travelers’ do your screwing right out in the open these days. It’s just that you’ve been wrong for so long, we fear there’s no saving you.

  35. Rusty says:

    #16
More of a ‘Darkness at Noon’ kind of refrence. Not really suprising you didn’t pick up on it. Now beg the firing squads pardon and go retreive your hat.
