As much as I dislike the Clintons, I’m almost starting to feel sorry for the Hildabeast. Here she is, with the stars perfectly aligned for a run at “Weekend At Bernie’s II” (Chris Dodd, anyone?), and she runs into a guy who seems to be auditioning for a remake of “Being There.” It would be amusing if it wasn’t for the fact that A) there are way too many idiots in this country with access to voting booths, and B) it turns out that Obama isn’t really Chance the Gardener. A lot of people, including me, have written about the Obamania phenomenon as an example of mass hysteria, as it were, with thousands of people who are starved for something swooning over a guy who says nothing really, really well. And that’s true as far as his campaign speeches go. But Obama has said things regarding the direction he would take as President, things that the drive-bys have consistently ignored. Want to get the living crap scared out of you? Watch this. I’ll wait.
