Heck, pretty much all of my wife’s ancestors are irish/irish and irish/polish mix and the median number of children per union per generation was 8. What kind of an idiot question was that anyway?

I’ve heard this discussion in bars in Chicago. Usually between brothers-in-law.

My impression of Irish people is their manners lack polish.
