A combat exercise in Toledo? That would’ve been cool to watch on helmet-cam video.
Way to go, Ohio.
The mayor claimed that the marines would scare the people … I’ve been to Toledo more than a coupla-times. There are no people there on the weekends. It’s kinda creepy.
Except during a Mudhens game. That was kinda fun.
In the Detroit newspapers today there was an article that said the city council also approved giving each of those Marines a free pass to the Toldeo Zoo, free hotel stay and free meal to make-up for the stupidty of the mayor.
Toledo has shown class, now Berkley needs to do the same.
