Faugh! Lo, the Spouse Gets Ushered [Dan Collins]

The rerererepentence of Bill Clinton:

Once again, Bill Clinton is ready to repent.

On Sunday the former president is scheduled to visit black churches in South Central Los Angeles, where he’s expected to offer a mea culpa to those who “dearly loved him” when he was their president, Rep. Diane Watson (D-Calif.) says.

Watson, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus who has endorsed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), tells us she’ll usher the former president to more than half a dozen churches in her district where she says he needs to “renew his relationship” with congregants who were turned off by his racially tinged comments in the days leading up to and following the South Carolina primary. (Such as when Clinton compared Sen. Barack Obama‘s landslide victory to Jesse Jackson‘s wins in 1984 and 1988.)

Yet, my priest isn’t allowed to tell me which way to vote? I never could figger that out.

OT- but on Rush’s show on Friday I heard a bit where Bill Clinton was talking about how economic slowdown in U.S, England (and I think France?) were good for teh environment. Anyone know where to find it online?

I mean, I can hardly wait to tell everyone here in Michigan that the poor economy is helping Mother Earth. NOTHING SAYS “GREEN” LIKE UNEMPLOYMENT!

“Fittingly, in the final analysis, Clinton will not be remembered for what he did as president, but for who he did.”

    Heh.

Hey, Ann, I’ve got a train to catch at 5:21 Monday morning. How about if we shorten our stroll down memory lane to who he didn’t do.

Shouldn’t he be Hispandering in CA tomorrow? Or is Ms Codependent Co-President handling the “Si, se puede!” crowd? BHO is getting pretty close in CA for Bubba to be focusing so tightly on a much smaller (if generally much more docile) ‘identity’ group. Besides, they’re gonna vote BHO at 4/1 no matter what Bubba says.

It’s amazing that there’s no such thing as too-transparent pandering for the Clintons. This, and Hillary and her fake black accent (more than once)………….

Hillary and her fake black accent

I’ll have you know that accent waqs every bit as genuine as… as… well, as anything else she’s got.

  7. Ted Nugent's Soul Patch says:

Funny how it’s no big deal when Democrats go church-hopping, but when Republicans do it, they are “pandering to the religious right.”

  8. Mhero says:

Maybe he’s trying to repent for whatever he’d made, for his country and for his fellow people. So just give him a chance!!!!

  9. Shiela says:

This is obviously a publicity stint, not a sincere repentance on Bill’s part. Had it been a sincere repentance, he would not have paraded this intention of him to do so.
