   Utter garbage.  The only thing that’s changed since Semptember 11 is that predisposed roughnecks like you are now buying jingoistic bullshit from oily robber-barons who are bent on making Afghanistan into the next Middle East.  We’ll keep talking tough and dropping bombs on defenseless nations just so long as we’re sure the oil keeps flowing.  We’re blowing this “terrorist” thing all out of proportion.  A few crazies, and we react like we need to stomp out Nazi Germany all over again.  Puh-leeze.

   Yes, sure thing, Mr. Hunter.  We’re doing this for the oil.  Of course, the airplanes crashed into the buildings have nothing to do with it.  That was just incidental, correct?  Had those planes not crashed into our skyscrapers, we’d still today be bombing Afghanistan, because Americans are so blood thirsty.

   You, Mr. Hunter, are what my sister would call “a lubed tool.”

   Mr. Milkwhite is correct, more or less; while I do agree with Mr. Freund that the stuff of America has been with us all this time, I understand Victor’s point, that while this may be so, we’ve sometimes been neglectful about teaching our values to our kids.  And before you launch into another scripted tirade, Mr. Hunter, please understand that by “our values,” I’m speaking not of Republican, Moral-Majority type things, but rather the larger values of fairness, equality, independence, etc.
