  1. Jeffersonian says:

    He’s got a point.

  2. Patrick Carroll says:

    Lookin’ desperate, Billy Jeff.

  3. B Moe says:

Let me see if I got this straight, they are trying to say one side is running a clean campaign, and the other side is running a dirty campaign, but Bill knows just the opposite is true? Did he really say that?

  4. 262-652-3806 says:

It’s Bill’s wife who’s been the media darling these many months. I’d still like to know how to turn a $1000 cattle trade investment into a $99,000 profit just by reading WSJ.

But the voters can discern character, honesty, leadership and inspiration. That’s BamBam, not Hillary.

  5. happyfeet says:

It wasn’t really as fumey as I was expecting. Also, he looks terrible.

  6. HD says:

I’m still interested to know why it is Bill’s speaking out when in reality he’s had his run – his time has come and gone. Everytime he does this he takes the risk of speaking in her stead which weakens her ability in the public’s eyes to stand her own ground. It’s as if she needs him in order to win – he didn’t need her to do so when he ran. Th only thing he needed her for was to wipe the egg from his face when he’d stayed where he shouldn’t have during his sexual promiscuity tryst on the American people’s dime. I’d like to add one thing the Clinton campaign won’t touch with a thousand foot pole is the fact that Hillary as well as Bill have both taken more money from lobbyist than any other candiate on the horizon to-date…

  7. Dan Collins says:

    That wasn’t egg, silly.

  8. Rob A says:

He might not of come off that well but yes he is mad and he is right to be! I can’t believe how many people are snowed by Obama’s smooth talk of change. Do people want change? Uh, yeah, I think we’ve had enough Bush. But Obama has NO substance, he has said absolutely nothing. He goes on and on about change and how we need to fix this and fix that and on and on. Well duh. We all know about the things we need to fix. He has said NOTHING about how we might fix any of it. And he has no experience. It may seem like a feel good choice to go for Obama, but not a very wise one in my opinion.

  9. Dan Collins says:

Are more Clintons the solution, Rob A?

  10. TonY Black says:

Why is Bill so bent on moving back to 16 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
It’s about time someone else apart from a Clinton or Bush move in there.

  11. Rob A says:

Dan, I believe right now that Hillary is the best bet of who we have to choose from. I like Ron Paul a lot, and I think he is about the most honest candidate I have seen in a while, but I am afraid he may be a bit too “out there” for the job. Some of his ideas are a bit nutty.

  12. Dan Collins says:

    Bwah?

    Teh horrororororor.

  13. JD says:

Dan and Karl – I just have to thank you. I have been practically speechless all day, mainly because I have been doubled over in hysterical laughter all day long.

  14. Obstreperous Infidel says:

Rob, as Dan said, Hil Clinton isn’t change, though. I’m with TonY here…Can’t we be done with both the Bush clan and the Clintons?

  15. happyfeet says:

I like Jeb. Nothing wrong with Jeb. Can’t see it happening ever, but he definitely can hang with the crew we got now.

  16. happyfeet says:

Ok well yeah there are some things wrong with Jeb but relatively speaking he’s good people.

  17. JD says:

I aspire to be an agent of change within my work environment every day. By demonstrating inclusive behaviors and diversity practices, I can work towards improving my work environment for myself, and the people that rely upon our services.

I heard that once in a training meeting, and it ear-wormed me.

Listening to the Dems the last few days has been like listening to the HR PC-bots giving a training program. They yammer on about change, as though change, in and of itself, is a good thing.

  18. Obstreperous Infidel says:

Happyfeet, to be honest, I know nothing about Jeb. Hell, George may be the nicest guy in the world, too. He seems like a genuine guy. I just can’t get on board with his politics (big spending, never vetoing, increasing government progams such as NCLB). In two words, his “compassionate conservatism”. I would be worried that Jeb shares those same views. In one of the other threads, I mentioned that I put really no emphasis on the man’s, or woman’s, personal traits or beliefs. Charisma, leadership and integrity (bah!) are such secondary reasons for me to choose a candidate to get behind. I guess I am just incredibly cynical. At this stage of the game, they’re all liars, or else they would have never arrived to the point they’re at now. Good people or not.

  19. happyfeet says:

I agree in the sense that they don’t mostly do the things they should, but with me they only have to get the markers right. George said he’d move on tort reform and he did. It’s a little thing, but it was a marker I had so it’s a big thing, and also it was one of those long time coming things.

  20. D Sullivan says:

I think President Clinton made some good points. I have to agree that the Obama phenomenon does seem a bit like a fairy tale. I really do like Obama but I think there is too much stressed about his “charisma.” My opinion is he is not ready for this important job. He will be; just not now. But, folks, this is politics and that’s why we all watch. There is going to be lots more volleying before this is over so we just have to read between the barbs.

Also, saying that President Clinton has “had his run” is a moot point. Regardless of his former presidency, he is Hillary’s husband. Wouldn’t you think it a bit weird if he was nowhere to be seen or heard? I applaud him for getting out there and taking the heat in support of his wife.

  21. Obstreperous Infidel says:

I’m with ya, happyfeet. I guess I’m saying that, to me, personality means almost nothing. Are they peddling what I agree with, politically? I think that’s your “marker”. I guess that’s how it is for most people, but the media just loves the personality, thus we have the Obama-phenomenon. And I know too many of those brain dead “look something shiny” shallow thinking people to feel totally comfortable with their decisions.

  22. McGehee says:

“Agent of change?” Piffle! I want to be an agent of wads and wads of folding money!

  23. Also, he looks terrible.

no kidding. kinda womanly has he always done that limp wrist thing?

    ;D

nothin’ but cat bloggin’ for me from here on out! yeah right.

  24. happyfeet says:

I agree with you on the personality thing except that I think it’s a bonus when they’re obviously nice people. Like I can support Giuliani wholeheartedly but I think I would rather him not be my boss. Romney seems very kind but like you would have to put on your Romney face and stand up straight when he’s around. George just seems like a solid nice guy all around. Fred too but also he looks like he might make you listen to a lot of stories.

  25. Annette Webber says:

Shame on those women who voted for Hillary Clinton, including my mother. I am a 45 year old from New Hampshire, but don’t live there any longer. My mother was upset I would not vote for Hillary for my daughter’s sake. I told my mother I’m not voting for Hillary exactly for that reason, for my daughter. This is a woman who is a liar. This is a woman who lives with a liar. This is a woman whom we, as woman, should be ashamed of. This woman knew dang well her husband cheated, and cheated, and cheated. And why did she not care, because her daughter did not matter. Her ambitions mattered more than her own daughter. This is a woman who takes money from pharmaceutical companies and industries who will further bankrupt the American Taxpayer with drugs that kill and procedures that kill. She was for tort reform, which means big companies can kill and get away with it. She is taking money from companies that produce drugs that kill, dabilitate and maim people for life. She is taking money from companies that will charge taxpayers through the nose for 200,300,400% profit on their drugs. She has guaranteed rip off social programs.

This is a woman who cries on cue. Did you see her cry in public when she heard her husband cheated. NO. Did you see her cry in public when she might lose her big dollars from her big corporate sponsors. YES.

Shame on women who voted for her. You voted for a woman with no integrity, no decency and not humanity.

  26. happyfeet says:

    This is getting very confusing.

  27. I’m not sure I can wait til 2012.

  28. JD says:

Folks – Were it not to have such disastrous consequences, it would be fun to run no Republican opposition, and just kick back and watch the Dems eviscerate each other. Not literally.

  29. JD says:

If you ever needed proof that the Dems are nothing but lying misery pimps, then you need to look no further than Hillary’s speech tonight. She starts rattling off a list of what ails our country, and point by point – foreclosures, kids cannot afford to go to college, no health care, etc … the crowd broke into raucous cheering. Every time I hear that someone cannot afford to college, breaking out into cheering and applause does not crack my Top 50 natural reactions.

  30. happyfeet says:

Obama did the same litany of woe thing. McCain sounded awful in his speech. On radio anyway he sounds almost Mr. Rogersy like it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood. More and more he reminds me of my grandmother toward the end.

  31. happyfeet says:

Mostly the way he talks. She was way classier.

  32. RTO Trainer says:

….watch the Dems eviscerate each other. Not literally.

    Why not?

  33. happyfeet says:

What the hell was Hillary wearing tonight?

  34. happyfeet says:

Some sort of library lady burkha. Is that the thing these days?

  35. JD says:

happyfeet – I was thinking the same thing. She would be better served by using algore’s fashion advisor. And someone ought to point out to her that the freaky eyes coupled with a bad fake smile is not so endearing either. If the eyes are a window to the soul, then I guess we have a pretty good idea what is going on inside that one.

  36. happyfeet says:

Also I swear she’s done voice training, from the radio, but teh NPR sometimes engineers that themselves so I’m not sure.

  37. SGT Ted says:

So tell me, what country do you get your helath care and prescriptions from?

    and

Do you think that new drugs just sprout from the ass of Pharmacuitical Company executives?
