Decrying the “rabid right-wing racists deconstructing my work,” Ted Rall takes to the Comics Journal message board to right perceived ideological wrongs — stomping out unfriendly critical discussion and making the world a safer place for…silly, crayon-based communism. Here’s his latest screed, broken down (and amplified) for your convenience:

I have never apologized for Osama or Al Qaeda, though I have certainly made the point that many of their complaints about the U.S. are hardly baseless.

Translation: I never said that I agree with Usama and his murderous gang of thugs, just that I don’t disagree with them.

I have pointed out that the world has yet to see an iota of proof that Osama had anything to do with 9-11.

And by “the world,” I mean me, Bob Fisk, John Pilger, and a handful of Saudi clerics. And maybe a few Egyptians, too.

That doesn’t mean he’s innocent. It means that the U.S. bombed a regime out of existence without feeling that it owed the world an explanation. That’s just wrong.

…I mean, no explanation other than that the U.S. was both protecting itself from future attacks and striking back at the very regime cuddling those responsible for the worst ever terror attack in the history of the world, that is. Flying planes loaded with our innocent civilians into our buildings loaded with innoncent civilians: That’s just wrong.

For the record, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Osama, and the Bushies are all scum and deserve to rot in the same jail.

That’s right, despite not having seen “an iota of proof that Osama had anything to do with 9-11,” I’m willing to let him rot in jail. It’s perfectly in keeping with my Communist Party training, after all. Of course, I’d like to see Usama and Al Qaeda members imprisoned in an American prison, if that’s okay; The Bushies, though, deserve some Afghan cesspit…

Who’s worse? Hell if I know…Bush has killed a lot more people than Al Qaeda or the Taliban, though.

Yes! Bush has killed more, hasn’t he? — by promoting freedom, which leads to material excess, which leads to junk-food, tobacco, and alcohol addictions, which leads to eventual health problems, which leads to complications, which leads to sickness, which leads to death.

A-and let’s not forget oil! — which leads to industry, which leads to freedom, which leads to driving, which leads to car accidents, which leads to death.
