Election 2012: past is prologue, 3

The consequences of the Justice Department’s dereliction of duty with respect to the prosecution of the New Black Panthers who stood in doorways with night sticks to intimidate voters in an earlier election is that the progressives understood that they could get away with similar tactics this election without fear of reprisal.

It’s who they are. It’s what they do:

Court-appointed Republican poll inspectors are being forcibly removed from voting stations in some Philadelphia wards and replaced in some cases by Democratic inspectors and even members of the Black Panthers, according to GOP officials.

Secrets just received this memo from GOP officials:

The Philadelphia GOP is reporting that court appointed Minority (read GOP) Inspectors are being thrown out of polling locations in several Wards.

These Inspectors are election officials – again, court appointed — and are reportedly being thrown out by the Head Judges of Elections (these Judges are elected Democrats) and being replaced by Democrats.

This has happened at the following locations:

Ward 32, Div 13

Ward 43, Div 14

Ward 56, Div 1

Ward 56, Div 22

Ward 32, Div 28

Ward 32, Div 28

Ward 12, Div 17

Ward 39, Div 1

Ward 24, Div 9

Ward 18, Div 25

Ward 43, Div 14

Ward 29, Div 18

Ward 65, Div 19

Ward 20, Div 1

Ward 6, Div 11

Another official told Secrets: “one of our female inspectors was physically thrown out.”

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney decided at the last minute to make stops in Pennsylvania, believing that the race there was close enough that he could win.

Do you think that if Romney narrowly loses Pennsylvania that he has an army of lawyers at the ready to contest the election because of reprehensible tactics like this on the part of Dems?

Doubtful.

Why isn’t legal paperwork being filed as we speak?

update: apparently, it was.

And it seems that if Holder isn’t going to make sure we have fair elections, others will take it upon themselves to do the job for him.

update 2:

Obama mural in Philly polling place.

  1. Benedick says:

The paperwork is filed, and GOP lawyers undoubtedly moved very quickly. An injunction was entered to return the GOP monitors to the polls. Here’s the problem — what did the Dems do in those polling places during the period after they illegally removed the Republicans and before the injunction was carried out? Whatever they did, it was a coordinated attack, and it is irreversible. People need to go to prison over this.

The NY Post goes all Eastwood on The One.

  3. Jim in KC says:

There was nobody threatening at my polling place in the hood this morning. There were some fairly well-dressed, polite, young-ish black women handing out “voting guides” urging me to vote for their preferred slate of fascists, but they definitely weren’t scary. The little old ladies inside were as sweet and friendly as could be.

The second link in the update lifts my heart. Nice. Black panthers are pussies. Simply put. Special forces will have those pieces of shit “subdued” in no time should an incident arise.

  5. Libby says:

Wow – that seems awfully organized, doesn’t it?
If it’s even close Romney should send an army of lawyers to review every single ballot from each of these polling stations.

  6. cranky-d says:

They’ll probably find 1000 votes in the car trunk this time. Again, they’ll all be for Obama.

Mural link thingy in lieu of Jeff’s there

Philly mural arts program: it’s a thing. In some respects a firmly connected political thing.

  8. JohnInFirestone says:

    Another image of the mural.

  9. Jeff G. says:

More good news: “Between EV numbers and Biden surprise stop, theres something happening in Ohio. Hunch is early voting skewed polls in O’s direction.”

    Awesome!

  10. Jeff G. says:

Yet more good news! “Huh? RT @GlennThrush Romney camp now saying internals attributed to their pollster showing Mitt up in Ohio, tied in WI, PA “are incorrect.”

    I second this post.

THIS is what terrifies me. Guys, if they win this time, with the lack of enthusiasm on their part, based on massive, unchecked fraud, you might as well give up. The Chicago Machine — the Combine — will make sure that no one ever votes against their candidates again. This is our last chance, that means both voting and calling the fraud number for stuff like this. Vote Fraud: Who You Gonna Call? And if we win motor voter must go and our voter rolls must be cleaned. We’ve almost given the store away already.

    Detroit is Michigan’s Philly.

  13. Hadlowe says:

On the plus side, Geoffb, nobody lives in Detroit anymore. Just ghosts and zombies.

  14. leigh says:

I’ve often thought that Detroit should be razed and turned into farmland. No one else lives there it could be a home for the cattle to roam.

  15. Squid says:

    Mural ordered to be covered.

This is how they cover a mural in Philly. And good luck getting any of the responsible parties held to account. Hah!
