What the fuck country is this again?
Oh, that’s right. Ameritopia. With a side order of Sharia. Sometimes it’s easy to forget.

I found the comments under the article to especially instructive. A lot of people are excusing the obvious violation of free speech because the guy is supposedly a convicted felon and may have violated the terms of his probation.
We’re entering police state territory. The cops are fully complicit at this point, because they could have refused to follow these orders.
So when are we going to get a posse together and go after James Cameron?
Are we chiding Ross for losing cite of the bigger picture here, or enjoying the taste of the schadenfreude?
Let’s connect two seemingly disparate events.
A blogger is searched by the cops for exercising his Second Amendment rights.
A film maker is detained for exercising his First Amendment rights.
Both times, the police were involved and were “just following orders.”
Anyone else notice a problem here?
cite = sight
We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.
We’ve been there for quite a while. It’s just that most people haven’t had the pleasure of finding out.
This.
By the way, I mention in passing that the local police haven’t replied to my follow-up phone calls or emails as of yet.
Unless it’s a crucified Jesus swimming in piss, or the Virgin Mary made out of elephant shit, for instance. In which case, we’ll go to the mattresses to protect that right of artistic expression.
Oh. And free rubbers from the Catholic church.
First Amendment!
Headline on Drudge right now:
FEDS INVESTIGATE CHRISTIAN FILMMAKER
See. More proof that the world would be a better place without those damned Christians.
none of that stuff actually hurts the religious beliefs of others, unless they’re dreadfully insecure in those beliefs
So has the ACLU figured out whose side they’re on yet?
fucking idiot.
That’s not the point. The point is, they’re told to not be so insecure if they’re offended. Mostly because there’s very little chance they are going to ass-rape you then cut your head off on camera. Those kinds we must be careful not to offend. For freedom.
Is the point.
So has the ACLU figured out whose side they’re on yet?
They are busy protecting the KKK’s right to advertise on Georgia highways.

There for a short while Steven’s feelings were hurt, I’m thinking.
That’s his own fault for belonging to the wrong creed —the infidel scum.
Maher is an equal opportunity offender, which is the ne plus ultra of religious tolerance, so he’s good.
But they’re offensive and blasphemous. Gonna be honest, as a Catholic, I’d probably just flat out destroy them. But I understand the principle of free speech, so I won’t.
And to an embassy. I mean, an embassy.
Wait, the Catholic church believes it a sin to use contraceptives, the state passes a law saying they must provide contraceptives, but that doesn’t hurt the religious beliefs of Catholics?
The cross is the universal symbol of Christianity, but it doesn’t hurt the religious beliefs of Christians to use the their money taken in taxes to finance the desecration of the cross?
Are you sure about your assertions cupcake, or are you just squirting shit and calling it icing?
people what are more butt-hurt about using taxes to finance desecration of the cross than they are about using taxes to subsidize art/radio/tv generally don’t really get just how broke-ass their failshit little country is I think Mr. Lee
same goes for state-sponsored rubbers for grad school whores
Lee, we can only pray that those who desecrate the Christand the Blessed Mother will see the error of their ways before it’s too late.
It sucks, but it is what it is.
I can give you that one, Happyfeet
Maybe stop worshiping money, and the deficit won’t be more butt hurting than your lost liberty, cupcake.
money still buys you a substantial amount of liberty in Obama’s America I think, and that’s not likely to change
it’s one of the perks of living in such an ungodly whorish little country
Then it’s a good thing we’re all about to become multi-millionaires!
For freedom!
whorenanke is a warm blanket on a cold cold night
I Obamas America, all money belongs to government, along with the citizens bodies and souls. At the core, it’s all about rejecting the Creator mentioned in the Declaration of Independence.
In Obamas America…
So Bill Maher dressed up as the dead Crocodile Hunter? That’s all I can get from that. Assuming that’s supposed to be a sting ray tale in the chest.
I’ve got to say that I don’t have a problem with this. The guy was not arrested or detained, he voluntarily went in for FBI questioning and he’s perfectly free, aside from the media mob camped outside his door. Were I the FBI, I’d have a few questions I’d like to ask him too, mostly pertaining to my suspicion that this whole thing was a set up, a false flag. They may have other pertinent avenues of inquiry.
I’m far more pissed off that our gubmint felt the need to out him. And review his crappy film.
And review his crappy film.
This is what burns me about Hillary. The *itch (first consonant of your choice) should have said something like “Whatever this video says DOES NOT MATTER. Human beings have the absolute right to say what they will and YOU have the obligation not to react with violence. If you do, you have abdicated your right to be considered a member of the civilized world and you will be treated accordingly as to how historically barbarians are treated.” Then left the podium.
* = feckless cunt?
He did “lawyer up” according to KTLA. in video at the bottom.
He probably has his guy on speed dial, as he does seem to be a rather unsavory chap. It seems to me that if you’re on probation and violating it, it’s probably best not to get yourself at the center of an international shitstorm.
I suspect he’s got a legal problem as I understand that the terms of his probation included not assuming aliases and not using the internet. He’s clearly violated the former and possibly the latter.
Reynolds at Instapundit has come out very strongly against the administration hauling in a citizen in the middle of the night.
Normally, Reynolds avoids opining about stuff he links but this time, he really cut loose against the administration.
As a schauspiel intended for consumption by ignorant foreigners who themselves are subject to hauling off for questioning at the whim of their governments, I’d say the Obama administration has the contours down pat. The O administration knows from thuggery and how to present it to best effect for the minds of the oppressed.
