Apologies won’t do this time: Brian Ross needs to resign, or ABC needs to fire him

No, this wasn’t a mistake based on insignificant vetting. It was wishful thinking from a partisan pseudo-journalist who, for obvious reasons, immediately began scouring TEA Party sites looking for a name to match that of the shooter. Rather than, say, the Democrat voter rolls. Ross wanted to draw the connection.

ABC has issued an apology and Ross an on-air mea culpa. So what? This was the way the mainstream press reacted to the Giffords shooting, and it’s now clear this is the way they will always react until such time as they can make such a connection legitimately — particularly if in the interim all it costs them to speculate is a bit of temporary egg on their faces.

We simply cannot stand by any longer and let them get away with passing off such brazen partisanship as “news.” These are propagandists in league with the Democrats and the “progressives.” They are the disinformation arm of the democratic socialist coup happening in this country right now.

The activist press needs to be beaten back just as aggressively as politicized justices and imperial Presidents.

No more. No more. No more.

  1. Crawford says:

This, Giffords, Zimmerman, and God knows how many other instances.

  2. bh says:

I’d imagine people might want to actively avoid watching any ABC programming while he continues to draw a paycheck.

    Owned by Disney, btw.

  3. JohnInFirestone says:

    http://twitter.com/iowahawkblog/

Iowahawk is looking up every Brian Ross in the country who’s been arrested / RSO and is listing them as “ABCNews’ Brian Ross”.

And, yes, the ABC News Brian Ross should be fired, IMMEDIATELY.

  4. The Monster says:

The problem is not Ross per se. It’s that he works in a subculture in which what he did was the expected thing to do in that situation. It’s the NBC culture that thought editing Zimmerman’s 911 call to make him sound racistwas perfectly normal. It’s the culture that says “I heard ‘you lie BOY'” and turns “people” into “YOU people” so as to be able to complain about the insensitivity of saying that to a black reporter.

  5. BigBangHunter says:

    – Ok. Early reports is he graduated from Westview high school here in San Diego and was a poly-sci doc student at U of Colorady.

  6. BigBangHunter says:

    – They are showing his pic. He looks like a typical college geek.

  7. Crawford says:

    Sorry. Something in my throat.

    – Watching Romney give jis press conference. He is showingy the Marxust brown ahirts and the Golden Unicorn herder how a “president” acts, how an AMERICAN acts!

  10. George Orwell says:

Iowahawk is looking up every Brian Ross in the country who’s been arrested / RSO and is listing them as “ABCNews’ Brian Ross”.

THIS. Fight these pluperfect assholes with their own weapons. Make Brian Ross a laughingstock; he’s already a noxious malefactor.

  11. George Orwell says:

The problem is not Ross per se. It’s that he works in a subculture in which what he did was the expected thing to do in that situation.

And the way to remedy that is to make the individuals who make up the subculture pay for their malfeasance. Mock him. Demand his termination. Publish his street address.

  12. George Orwell says:

    Breitbart:

ABC News has since corrected its initial report, but tried to share the blame with “social media” and “members of the public” at first:

An earlier ABC News broadcast report suggested that a Jim Holmes of a Colorado Tea Party organization might be the suspect, but that report was incorrect. Several other local residents with similar names were also contacted via social media by members of the public who mistook them for the suspect.

Now the correction has been updated, with ABC News and Brian Ross taking full responsibility, and apologizing:

An earlier ABC News broadcast report suggested that a Jim Holmes of a Colorado Tea Party organization might be the suspect, but that report was incorrect. ABC News and Brian Ross apologize for the mistake, and for disseminating that information before it was properly vetted.

Just so we are clear on this… ABC News is not a journalistic enterprise, but a staff of trained parrots who repeat gossip on twitter, so long as it is detrimental to anything or anyone conservative. There. Properly corrected.

  13. George Orwell says:

Hey, stuff I saw on twitter at Iowahawk, so it’s as good as ABC News.

ABC News’ Brian Ross a registered FL sex offender
ABC News’ Brian Ross arrested for driving on suspended license in FL
ABC News’ Brian Ross arrested for being ‘habitual violator’ in SC
ABC News’ Brian Ross arrested in Iowa
ABC News’ Brian Ross arrested in Tulsa for 2nd degree burglary, “throwing waste” at police officer
ABC News’ Brian Ross arrested in TX again for assaulting family member
ABC News’ Brian Ross arrested for sexting underage girl in CA

  14. BigBangHunter says:

    – Thats exactly want everyone needs to do. Start giving it right back to them. Make it hurt when they try to destroy innocent people with their partisan lies and Leftwing agitprop. Get mad as hell and stop just taking it.

    – If it starts costing them enery time they try to pull this shit it will stop.

  15. BigBangHunter says:

    – James Micheal Holmes of Denver Colorado, who is 58, has had to have his cell phone shut down because hes been flooded with Left-wing loons making threats, thanks to comrad Ross.

  16. Just another instance of something too good to check since it fit the narrative. What a sad spectacle the profession of journalism has become.

  17. Crawford says:

What’s worse — the jour-o-lists or the brainless thugs who believe them and threaten an innocent man?

  18. Mr. Orwell, Iowahawk’s apology tweet is the punchline.

  19. BigBangHunter says:

    – Westview high is in Rancho Panosquietos, another upscale bedroom community further inland just west of Poway, and south of Rancho Bernardo along the route 15 corridore.

    – Another correction says he was a Med-school dropout, not a poly-sci.

  20. The Monster says:

    @George Orwell

Don’t just demand Ross’ termiation. There are producers, researchers, etc. who were involved in making the decision that the fact that someone named “Jim Holmes” was a TP member was in any way relevant to the story.

They all need to go. And be replaced with people who have more open minds. ABC needs to establish that they’ll take affirmative action to hire more conservatives and libertarians than the 10% combined they have now. They need to have someone in that chain of command who doesn’t reflexively accept “TP=insane and violent” as too good to check. Maybe because they eat lunch with a guy who routinely attends TP events and he seems sane.

  21. BigBangHunter says:

    – A psychology doctorate student. Now theres a surprise.

  22. George Orwell says:

Mr. Orwell, Iowahawk’s apology tweet is the punchline.

Yes. His whole thread is pure deliciousness.

  23. McGehee says:

    *cough*BLACK BLOC*cough*

There does seem to be quite a lot of noise on that possibility now.

And if it’s too good to check, well, you know what they say about turnabout and fair play…

  24. BigBangHunter says:

    – They replaced Larry King with Piers Morgan on CNN, now they need to replace him.

    – Larry was just a senile old fool. Morgan, a snotty Brit who just arrived at Elis Island twenty minutes ago thinks that America should give up its love affair with weapons, based on this attack by a lone nutbag.

    – There was an attack at a school in WV that you never heard about a few years ago. Why didn’t you hear anything about it?. Because not a single person was hurt. Why were’nt they hurt? Because two of the students were packing and they subdued the perp and held him doen until police arrived.

    – So of course the national media ignored it altogether.

  25. George Orwell says:

Any guesses on what the t-shirts will read? You know. The t-shirts. Obama will give a speech in a few days on the shooting, in which he will blame conservatives with his trademark passive-aggressive rhetoric, and many conservatives will applaud it.

He’ll hold it in some community college auditorium and he will give away t-shirts to the audience.

Predictions? I’m going with “Not So Fast and Furious: America and Aurora”

    Pablo,

Exclusive: Interview With James Michael Holmes, Hispanic Tea Party Member Falsely Accused by ABC

Breitbart: Doing the work the lamestream media is too stupid, lazy and dastardly to do.

No matter. The Netroots Nation has their man and his life will be a living hell from here on out. The Kosbots are practically orgasmic about this James Holmes, and no mere “facts” will divert them.

  27. BigBangHunter says:

    – Hey, heres a nice rumor, but since its about something to do with the Left, well you know how “those people” are.

    – Gee, I wonder if any of Holmes weapons were from the Fast and Furious group. Maybe Issa should ask Holder and then they can follow up by checking manufacture and serial numbers.

    – Works for me. Maybe send that to ABC/Ross for a report on the air.

  28. Crawford says:

And if it’s too good to check, well, you know what they say about turnabout and fair play…

The guy in the Giffords shooting was nuts, but he was also attached to left-wing causes, but what gets played up is that he was nuts.

Normally, I’d have no beef with that — nuts are nuts, and no sane person can control them.

But the left doesn’t just tolerate the Black Bloc — they foster it. They feed it. They encourage it. There’s some video of one of the highly visible lefties organizing people for a “protest” march — and she’s arranging to have the Black Bloc out in front. She knows who they are, what they’re going to do, and she’s putting them in the front instead of telling them to GTFO.

The Cleveland bomb plot and the Chicago bomb plot earlier this year were both Black Bloc.

Entirely possible I could be wrong; could be a lone nut.

But, yeah, turn-about is fair play — and the left associates with violent nuts a hell of a lot more than the right does.

  29. Crawford says:

Nah, BBH — the proper way to phrase is “sources say officials are considering the possibility the weapons may have been acquired as part of the ‘Fast and Furious’ illegal gun sales program run by the Obama administration; other sources say investigators are checking to see if the dealer was ordered by BATFE to make the sale”.

    Weaseled assertions, not questions.

  30. George Orwell says:

Crawford says July 20, 2012 at 12:04 pm

    That was absolutely delicious.

  31. Matt says:

From the little I’m seeing reported, it sounds like he’s a loner. Neighbors reported he doesn’t speak to anyone and they never see lights on in his house. My guess is highly intelligent social outcast with a history of chronic narcisism combined with a victim complex, who decided he wanted to be “noticed.” I saw it mentioned that they contacted his mother and she didn’t seem surprised.

  32. BigBangHunter says:

Hmmph. He was a neuro-science doc candidate. Different animal.

  34. Enrak says:

    Feedback

If you have any thoughts for ABC news. As always, keep them polite.

  35. BigBangHunter says:

    – Yes, well, we’re dealing with the press here and you know how “those people” are.

  36. George Orwell says:

Brian Ross and George Stephanopoulos walk into a bar. The bartender says “Hey, we don’t get many journalists in here.” Brian Ross says “Fine. We hate those guys. You couldn’t pay us to report the news, anyway.”

  37. BigBangHunter says:

    – Diane Sawyer is doing the ABC spots this afternoon, Ross nowhere in sight, and not a word in any way trying to “connect” Holmes to ANY group.

    – They are all busy trying to scrape the partisan dogshit off their shoes.

  38. Crawford says:

    – They are all busy trying to scrape the partisan dogshit off their shoes.

Problem is, they were wearing socks at the time.

  39. BigBangHunter says:

    – Mark Stine is sitting in for Rush, and hamering Ross, Stano-kennedy-opolos and ABC, and every aspect of this story and the presses obvious bias.

  40. leigh says:

President numbnuts is going to order all flags to be flown at half-staff. Why? It’s terrible that all of these people were shot, but it’s an incident, not an act of war.

Did he order flags lowered after the Fort Hood shooting? You know, after he was done giving a “shout out” to the Indian guy in the audience?

  41. Merovign says:

The shirts will say “Four More Years” and “Forward.” They haven’t had great turnout at the last 300 fundraisers, so they have leftovers.

  42. BigBangHunter says:

  45. BigBangHunter says:

    – Leigh, I called Ladonna’s KOGO radio show because she was doing a soft shoe on Bummblefucks stump speech announcement.

    – I told her, “Bullshit, who does that, make such a somber horrific announcement to an auditorium full of kids. And even if the “Golden Wonce” is to socially ignorant to call his own tune, his campaign people are total morons.”

    – Did you see Romney in front of the big American flag. He looked so much more “presidential” than poophead.

  46. BigBangHunter says:

    – When you see that sort of dumb and amatuerishness then theres no wonder we’re in such deep shit. These people are actually supposed to lead the country and they can’t even get a simple press conference right.

  47. leigh says:

Romney did look and sound much more Presidential.

I think dumbass cut short his speechifying not so much out of respect as to bug out and go chill at the WH for a weekend where he can pretend to strategize with his crack team of advisors.

Maybe he can shoe-horn in a quick nine at the golf course, too.

  48. leigh says:

    Via the WSJ (paywall, sorry):

Bob Costas has revealed that his broadcast of the July 27 opening ceremony will include a minute of silence for the 11 Israeli Olympians murdered by Palestinian terrorists at the Munich Games 40 years ago.

He’s the only journalist who is taking a stand against the Olympic Committee’s cowardly decision to skip over acknowledging the tragedy at Munich.

    Go Bob!

  49. BigBangHunter says:

    – Well his move is obviously rieght-wing propaganda, supporting all those raaaaaacist zionist Jooooooos….

  50. BigBangHunter says:

    – Obama, for all his obvious Marxist bent, and indoctrination is a real puzzle. He doesn’t seem to see what a buffon his own people make him look like each day, and that has nothing to do with the “narrative” He seems to be just amother example of “over-educated” moron that marks such a large part of the last two generations.

  51. John Bradley says:

“It’s not ‘theater piss’ and it’s not going to come out with Woolite, you over-educated shithead!”

  52. geoffb says:

Joker” story seems confirmed and he used an “AR” not an “AK”.

  53. leigh says:

Newsies ought to shut up when they’re talking about guns and just call them “guns” without being specific since they are nearly always wrong.

Likewise when there are re-enactments on the teevee such as in teevee movies, often times they will have someone blazing away with a “rifle” that is clearly a shotgun and incapable of firing repeatedly. I’ve also seen handguns refered to in scripts as revolvers and the actor will be shown with a semi-automatic. The worst offender on this count was the blockbuster movie “Silence of the Lambs.”

  54. geoffb says:

    As per this:

Police said the weapons used in the massacre include a military-style AR-15 assault rifle with a high-capacity drum-style clip, a shotgun and two handguns.

It’s not a “clip” it’s a “magazine” stupid media person.

  55. BigBangHunter says:

    – Theres something going on with this guys apartment, and nothings being said specifically betound “Exp;osives” and “explosive materials” and “bobbytrapped”, and that it may take several days to clear it. They are “consulting” with experts” etc.

    – They immediately evacuated the entire complex.

  56. leigh says:

Someone early today said the shooter has “a clip” slung over his shoulder. Really? I thought those were called bandoliers. Not to mention, again: wrong weapon.

  57. palaeomerus says:

They are saying “incendiaries” and “tripwires” on fox right now.

  58. newrouter says:

    high-capacity drum-style clip

    probably the 55 gal type

  59. palaeomerus says:

    ” military-style AR-15 assault rifle ”

Gee. Too bad it wasn’t an organic gardening Coop-style AR-15 loaded with peace and love bullets.

  60. palaeomerus says:

“He used an AA gun to…uh we’re getting word that he did NOT use an AA gun and that I have no idea what that even is…”

  61. palaeomerus says:

I assume it’s some sort of gun used by people who are trying to stop drinking…

  62. palaeomerus says:

” Uh…my director is laughing in my ear now and he’s saying that I’m uh…a really ignorant goddamned son of a bitch…so, over to you Shep! “

  63. leigh says:

They were talking about detonating some kind of a charge in the apartment earlier. They being the PO-lice.

I’m no expert, but this sounds colossally stupid and dangerous, particularly if the apartment house has natural gas lines installed. It’s not like they know if it will be a “controlled” explosion. It could crater that whole neighborhood.

  64. BigBangHunter says:

    – In a macabre testimony to things in general, this may well actually add to the movies box office.

    – I can just hear the young butts, “Hey people got shot….coolies!!1111”.

  65. palaeomerus says:

    “high-capacity drum-style clip”

No word yet on what kind of drum…like bongos or a maybe snare drum…maybe a nice Carribean steel drum…is that marimba? Is that what they call those? Kind of like a glockenspiel ..y’now with those little padded hammers… why is everyone shaking their heads at me like that?

  66. geoffb says:

Federal law requires licensed firearm dealers to alert authorities of repeat gun purchases only when a buyer purchases two handguns from the same dealer within five days. Other multiple gun purchases do not require notification of law enforcement.

Aurora police chief Daniel Oates had previously confirmed that Holmes was found with an AR-15 assault rifle, Remington 860 shotgun and .40 caliber glock handgun. A second .40 caliber handgun was found in his car. It was unclear which guns were used during the shooting.

It should be “870” and “Glock” should be capitalized but the main thing is this seems to be the start of a narrative that the Feds need to be informed if someone tries to purchase more than one gun during some period of time anywhere, any gun. This has been pushed before.

  67. BigBangHunter says:

    – Leigh, they did that same thing with that house up in Escondido when it turned out it was wall to wall munutions and umknown materials. They ended up just leveling it. To do that they evacuated the entire neighborhood and had the whole frigging police and fire dept of Northern San Diego county up there.

    – When they finnaly did the deed, faithfully shown on TV, it was a smallish explosion, more a puff of smoke and then it burned to the ground.

    – Big whoop.

  68. geoffb says:

    AR-15 drum magazine.

  69. newrouter says:

Federal law requires licensed firearm dealers to alert authorities of repeat gun purchases only when a buyer purchases two handguns from the same dealer within five days

because no one would buy the same gun from a different dealer

  70. newrouter says:

    AR-15 drum magazine.

    not quite 55 gal

  71. cranky-d says:

Since they are saying the guy had an “assault rifle” I’m wondering how he passed the FBI background check to get a fully automatic weapon like that.

  72. newrouter says:

    “assault rifle”

a scary looking gun to proggtards

  73. leigh says:

BBH, was that the house of the doctor who was involved in some kind of chemical wweapons transfers to South Africa?

  74. palaeomerus says:

No word yet if the drum-style clip had any cymbals on it for those high hat shots.

  75. cranky-d says:

    “assault rifle”

    All long guns, then.

  76. bh says:

    Heh.

  77. BigBangHunter says:

    – No. It was some lone nut ex-postal worker and he was just renting the place, His wife moved out because he was acting more and more unstable and collecting a massive arsonal.

    – The guy that actually owned the house sued for 10 times what it was worth. I don’t know what the resolution was because they never said, but they did eventually settle with the owner. But it was the usual governmental overkill. They even had several state officials (AG etc) do interviews at the scene.

    – The whole thing was a media/political circus.

  78. newrouter says:

    All long guns, then.

short ones too. proggtards don’t discriminate

  79. leigh says:

Oh. I didn’t know about that one.

  80. palaeomerus says:

Don’t forget crazy guns that have those long twisty looping barrels to make them more attractive to childen. Or maybe that’s straws. Straws don’t kill people…Bush kills people. And the 1%.

  84. leigh says:

Don’t be silly, BBH. Likenesses of Jesus are usually found in French toast. The Blessed Virgin often turns up on bagels and cinnamon rolls, as does Mother Theresa.

  85. BigBangHunter says:

    – From a witness in an adjacent theater: “We saw smoke and debris, and bullets coming through the wall…”

  86. leigh says:

More proof that eye witnesses aren’t worth a damn.

  87. palaeomerus says:

“The likeness of Jesus in a bowl of tapioca pudding (with raisins).”

How would you know it’s HIS likeness? What’s the basis for comparison?

  88. leigh says:

    Because the raisins told him!

  89. geoffb says:

    Bloomberg doubles down on stupid.

  90. BigBangHunter says:

“How would you know it’s HIS likeness? What’s the basis for comparison?”

    – The telltale clue is the raisins line up to spell out YEHWA over a tiny cross.

  91. newrouter says:

    Bloomberg doubles down on stupid.

good thing he’s a localized dictator

  92. BigBangHunter says:

Bloombug: “[The] bottom line is if we had fewer guns, we would have a lot fewer murders.”

    – Which of course is always the claim of those practicing sedition.

  93. BigBangHunter says:

    – You’re damn right they want guns taken away, because they’re the first ones that will get shot if they keep trying to turn us into a fucking communism.

  94. les nessman says:

So… what’s the over/under that this guy was a Lefty/Democrat/OWS/libtard of some kind?
I also subscribe to the view that you shouldn’t blame the groups that an insane whackjob chose to belong to, but if the media/Lefties/Democrats are going to play it; then let’s get it on.

  95. leigh says:

Les, scroll up to geoff’s link on Black Bloc.

  96. BigBangHunter says:

    – Holmes set up a friend finder online profile just a few days ago. Some of his entries are “interesting”.

  97. BigBangHunter says:

    – I don’t know how to access that, I just heard a gal on the radio talking about it and some of his “strange” entries. They’ll probably yank it if they haven’t already.

  98. les nessman says:

leigh, I saw that link. I am just wondering what the odds are that something more concrete will come out in the next few days/weeks.
I guess what I’m saying is that I’ll bet money that this nutjob was involved with lefty causes.
Like, was he registered Dem or Rep, who did he volunteer for, who did he donate to, etc.

All pure speculation on my part, but hey, that’s what the ‘professional journalists’ do, so why shouldn’t I?

Plus, I hear Brian Ross is a pedophile. I just wanted to get that out there on the internet; forever. Just sayin’.

  99. BigBangHunter says:

“Brian Ross might be a pedophile”
“Brian Ross might have been caught contacting a under age girl online for sex”
    “Brian Ross, a Marxist?”
“Brian Ross arrested for wife beating?”

    – Goggle it!

  100. bh says:

Hmmm, strange, I also heard that (a) Brian Ross is a pedophile.

Pretty sure that journalists would call this confirmation.

  101. leigh says:

I heard that, too. That (a) Brian Ross is a registered sex offender.

  102. BigBangHunter says:

    – Live by the agitprop, die by the agitprop.

  103. BigBangHunter says:

    – Waiting for some Lefturd to play the race card.

  104. les nessman says:

Holy crow! That’s like 3 independent sources just right here confirming-ish the rumor that I heard that Brian Ross is a pedophile! Combined with my other sources, it’s like, a zillion sources. It must be true or almost mostly true or almost sort of true.

Somebody should go physically knock on his door late tonight and ask him about it. Just to be sure. Just to be fair to him and all. So we can hear his side of this. And I didn’t say knock on the door to his home, maybe I meant knock on the door to his office. But I didn’t not say knock on the door to his home. Because I’m not telling anyone to do anything. Or not do anything. Even if they wanted to do something to a pedophile. I mean, who am I to judge?

  105. newrouter says:

this just in: a brian ross may have seduced goats or other farm animals

  106. leigh says:

Probably it would be a good idea to warn his coworkers about his sex offender status. In case there’s a company picnic or something.

Just to be prudent, of course.

  107. BigBangHunter says:

    – Best comment from Holmes supposed FF account:

“He looks just like Obama’s son – if he would have had one….”

  108. McGehee says:

My neighbor’s Weimaraner just had a litter of puppies and one of them looks like Brian Ross.

  109. leigh says:

    OMG!

  110. newrouter says:

poor brian ross is given a santorum

  111. newrouter says:

i hear that brian ross tea bags

  112. les nessman says:

    pfft. Weimaraner’s.
With their sleek bodies and creepy eyes and pedophile predilections; who do they think they are; Brian Ross? As if.

  113. BigBangHunter says:

    – They are releasing some of the comments Holmes made when they first booked him in to jail.

    – Purched 6000 rounds of ammo.
    – Hair dyed red when arrested. (The Joker?)

  115. newrouter says:

breaking: brian ross may have purched a disable hiv infected transgender midget.

  116. BigBangHunter says:

    – KOGO talk show hosted by a pgychologist tonight is asking that anyone here in San Diego that knew Holmes call into the show and share their knowledge of him.

  117. bh says:

I’m willing to go out on a limb here and state unequivocally that Brian Ross has never had consensual sex with any animal.

Don’t go reading anything into that.

  118. newrouter says:

i found that a brian ross may have been serial mass murder or a jay walking violator: developing

  119. les nessman says:

Well based on info I’ve gleaned here, maybe I should call KOGO.
I feel like I know Ross and Holmes personally.
I should tell them about how it’s a near metaphysical certitude that Brain Ross is a pedophile murderer. Now is he a pedophile who murders, or someone who murders pedophiles? We’ll never know until Brian Ross tears down this wall of stony silence in the matter. Why is he hiding such important info?

  120. BigBangHunter says:

    – Still, these rumors concerning a Brian Ross, and his prediliction toward sex with under age girls, may just be unfounded rumors, but until he comes forward and tells his side he’ll have to live with it.

    – Maybe he’s turned over a new leaf and he’s not selling drugs anymore, who knows.

  121. newrouter says:

developing: a brian ross was charged with theft for stealing a dildo.

  122. McGehee says:

Still, these rumors concerning a Brian Ross, and his prediliction toward sex with under age girls

    Girls too!?

Oh, they were probably alive at the time. No big.

  123. BigBangHunter says:

Yes, well, in faurness we should’nt mention that necrophelia thing. Theres no good sourcing on that which would directly connect a Brian Ross with dead women sex.

  124. BigBangHunter says:

    – I did hear something, now mind you this is just hearsay but you know, wheres there a Brian Ross theres illegal under age sex according to undisclosed sources, but those same sources say he was seen in the vacinity of the theater in Aurora.

  125. BigBangHunter says:

    – Makes you wonder if theres any connection between a Brian Ross and James Holmes, the mass murderer.

  126. leigh says:

I heard that a Brian Ross was court ordered to stay away from playgrounds and school yards. He has also had to give up his second job as a birthday party clown after that incident in the bounce-y house. Those kids are still in therapy.

I hope the malls got the notice about not hiring him to play Santa this Christmas.

  127. newrouter says:

hamas says that a brian ross is a muslim

  128. Merovign says:

What percentage of political murders over the last century would have been eliminated if we didn’t have any left-wing dictators?

Whoops, somebody call Bloomberg, we have a new band idea… but I don’t think he’s going to like it…

(To address a leftist’s obvious objection, Bloomberg is about as Republican as Jane Fonda.)

  129. leigh says:

Merovign, those people wouldn’t get with the program. It’s their own fault the regime had to kill them.

  130. BigBangHunter says:

    – In a perfect world they’d all be rounded up and shipped off to the workers paradise of their choice.

  131. Ernst Schreiber says:

How many lives might have been saved if the theater’s management didn’t insist that their patrons be disarmed?

    Hypothetically speaking.

  132. sdferr says:

Reading around a little bit, I see people calling Brian Ross’s false report of a connection between a James Holmes and the Tea Party an error, or a blunder. It was nothing of the sort, neither an error nor a blunder, but a perfectly conscious effort at propagandizing a political position Brian Ross chooses to maintain. I.e., he did just exactly what he set out to do, and no mistake about it.

Trouble with calls for an apology is that Ross wouldn’t be able to articulate what it is he’d be apologizing for. He simply wouldn’t know.

  133. BigBangHunter says:

    – Ernst, this guy is a different sort of bird. He was dressed head to foot with protective body armor. Unlike most mass murderers, he set this up carefully so there was minimal chance he’d get killed. afterwards he was careful to get into a position where he could be “safely” arrested instead of a sure death fire fight.

    – No suicide by cop for this guy. Theres more to this that we’ll know with time. But even if people in the audience were packing its not clear they could have done that much. He was protected and heavily armed.

    – But in general, with the typical sort of nut job on a suicide mission, people on the scene might have made a difference certainly, so from that stand point I agree with that position. In fact there have been several instances down through the years, where that was exactly what happened. No one died and the perp was captured because someone on the scene was packing and was able to stop them. You never hear about it in the Lefturd media though because it doesn’t fit the “narrative”.

  134. BigBangHunter says:

    – BTW, he told the cops when he was arrested, that his apartment was boobytrapped. They are saying he did that to show his power. I disagree. I think he did it because he was afraid if his traps killed a cop he would “somehow” end up dead. Another sign he planned this very carefully to avoid getting hurt.

  135. Ernst Schreiber says:

Kind of why I threw the hypothetically speaking in there, BBH.

And it was a trick question anyways. If somebody had dropped this asshole with a head shot, he’d be getting the Zimmerman treatment tonight. Or maybe the same treatment they gave that ex-cop church security guard whose return fire encouraged that particular asshole to procede directly to the suicide part of his mass murder-suicide plot.

  136. geoffb says:

On that “adultfriendfinder account” that was listed above as being from James Holmes there is this.

    5) The user’s personal bio quote is: “Will you visit me in prison?” This fits neatly with the fact that he gave up to police without incident, seemingly all part of a plan (almost too much so).

Now that page questions whether it is him and shows a picture from the site with the guy having red hair and then shows the picture we have all seen. The guys look quite like but what I notice is the ear visible in each is a close match considering the angle and the resolution of the pictures.

  137. BigBangHunter says:

    – I think this guy is a hyper intellectual type. At times that sort of mind crosses the line into insanity, and no one sees it because they tend to isolate themselves just before they act.

  138. palaeomerus says:

I heard that Brian Ross was an incompetent unprofessional dumb ass who tries to grind out his personal playground grudges on national TV and is too dumb and childish to anticipate any negative consequences for that.

Anybody who apologizes on the behalf of this twerp deserves to be escorted out of the building (and their career) in the very same shit bucket. They are part of the problem. If they stand with him then they should fall with him.

  139. BigBangHunter says:

    – Theres a gal on the talk show in Chula Vixta that says she packs, has a carry permit, and seven kids, several in the military. She says there is one cop for every 3000 people and how many places can one cop be at a time. So she is prepared to protect her home and family and around her house if something happens they don’t call 911 they call the coroner.

  140. BigBangHunter says:

    – One witness sitting one row away from Holmes when he entered the theater said he shouted that he was the Joker. “I’m the Joker”, and then he opened fire.

  141. leigh says:

He must be the only one who heard that. No one else has reported the shooter saying anything.

    People are starting to embellish.

  142. BigBangHunter says:

    – I’ll yell you what that nutbags real problem will be. There were 300 people in that theater. The chances are high someone lost a loved one that isn’t going to just accept it. They better guard him like the crown jewels, or he’ll maybe never live to see the inside of a looney bin if thats where he is slated to end up.

  143. leigh says:

Holmes reminds me of the Unabomber. Well, kinda. Since e’ll end up in SuperMax with Ted, they can play chess and talk about the good ole days.

    Good times, Jimbo.

  144. motionview says:

. @brianross ,don’t be sad, look at the wonderful adventures #GungaDan has been having.Maybe U & Queef Olbermann can report from the garage?

  145. McGehee says:

I’d like to apologize for making a comment that might be construed as suggesting Brian Ross of ABC has been involved in nasty, disgusting sex acts with dead underage boys. Those claims are still under investigation, and we shouldn’t put it out there that he “did” them until he’s been convicted in a court of law.

Though, seriously? Any jury would have to convict him. I mean, jeez.

  146. McGehee says:

    Even without doctored video…

  147. BigBangHunter says:

    – Maybe not McGehee. Even if a Brian Ross is guilty as sin for under age sex and beastiality, he may try to use the insanity plea, but you never know just how many of the rumors are true.

  148. bh says:

On the radio today I heard a story about this guy who talked a retarded girl into meeting him. Raped her a few times and then took her out on the street to service random guys. They took videos and put them up online. She didn’t know to fight or put up a struggle. He had explained it to her beforehand.

I used to say that I’d be happy to meet the devil because that would finally mean something. I feel less and less like that everyday.

  149. BigBangHunter says:

    – Of course the ‘other’ mrdering scum do not want to get left out, or lose their terrorist standing.

    – With all the shit going on I’ve got a bad feeling about the Olympics. Lets hope I’m wrong.

  150. Ernst Schreiber says:

Hell bh, I’ve met him just by looking in the mirror at different times in my life.

All this trying to blame it on the guns or the tea-party or the occupy whatever it is we’re s’posed to be occupying no justice no peace! crowd or whatever they end up using to explain this guy away is just an attempt to evade the reality of evil.

  151. Darleen says:

We just rolled into home from our vacation … I had had my ‘puter off since Thursday morning and we listened to CDs in the car up until we hit Los Angeles at about 7 pm … then turned on the radio to check traffic..

    FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

A crazy loon shoots up a theater — I said to my husband in a moment of bleakness, “watch the idiot lefties try and tie this to conservatives”

And then I read this post.

FUCK FUCK DAMN SHIT FUCK FUCK

I haven’t read any of the comments yet, I want to punch something.

I heard a bit of the Aurora Chief of Police making some comment about how people should be careful of what they find on “social media” and “the internet” but I had no idea that some asswipe supposed “journalist” would do that.

He needs to be fired. now. No if’s and or buts.

  152. bh says:

Yeah, I don’t think there is any way around it. Evil is real.

  153. Ernst Schreiber says:

Is leigh still around or has she called it a night?

  154. Ernst Schreiber says:

Then buck up my beer swilling cheese head friend. If evil is real, then God and love and redemption all have to be real as well. And like Milt said, we’re all free to choose.

  155. bh says:

I’m not much of a cheek turner though, I don’t think, Ernst. Maybe it’s something I can work on. When I heard that story I just wanted to torture those monsters.

At the moment I think sin-eating is the best I could do. I’m not much in favor of redemption and such for these sorts.

  156. BigBangHunter says:

    – Is it just me, or does the dad in this story seem a little lilly livered.

    – I mean I understand the trauma they would have been under, the terror, but to leave your baby on the floor with that going on. And then driving away?

“It just felt like the worst thing ever because my son’s still in there,” he told ABC News. “My girlfriend is still in there. I’m out here. Who leaves their child there?”

“He said Legarreta called him from another phone and he drove back to the theater. They were eventually taken to the hospital and released.”

    – She should take her kids and walk away from this jackass.

    – And welcome home D. Hope you had a great vacation.

  157. Ernst Schreiber says:

It was more a point about theodicy, but I hear you. In my neck of the woods an execution date has finally been set for some miserable excuse for a man who raped and murdered a nine year old girl more than twenty years ago. In the interim, he’s been amusing himself taking full advantage of “due process.”

  158. Ernst Schreiber says:

One never knows how one will react until put to the test, I suppose. But I would at least hope I’d have enough self awareness and/or sense of shame to know better than to go on TV andbrag about being found wanting.

  159. B Moe says:

How many times are psychos like this going to hide weapons under trenchcoats before we wise up and outlaw them.

    Trenchcoats, I mean.

  160. bh says:

I get what you’re saying, Ernst. (I really do, I framed the idea in these terms because it really is one of the ways I think about such things.)

It’s maybe not the best way of approaching the topic, I suppose. It just makes me appreciate the decorative value of heads on pikes more than anything else.

  161. Ernst Schreiber says:

Heads on pikes are just an affirmation that we live in a fallen world. If it weren’t, there wouldn’t be heads that deserve to be spitted on pikes, would there?

  162. BigBangHunter says:

    – Worked for Vlad Drac bh.

  163. Ernst Schreiber says:

(That’s one of the reasons I haven’t crossed the Tiber, by the way. I still believe there’s bastards that need killing.)

  164. BT says:

Kinda gives you a greater insight into the lot of law enforcement. What with their constant exposure to the darkside and how that must cloud their perspective.

  165. Ernst Schreiber says:

Since it looks like leigh’s called it a night, and since I’m about ready to do the same, and because I want to throw this out there for our resident headshrinker, even though I don’t really know where I’m going with this…

It seems to me that this Holmes poofter is the latest in a long and undistinguished line of poofters who get off an actualizing adolescent male fantasies involving guns and exercising power by blowing away a bunch of people whose humantity as such is barely recognized.

Like I said, I’m not sure where I’m going with this, but let’s just say that somebody’s superego is as tiny as his male member, and a lot of people got hurt in this attempt to compensate.

    Or something.

(Seriously, I don’t know where this line of thought is going. I’m just trying to understand it like everyone else.)

  166. BigBangHunter says:

    – There may be all those elements at play Ernst, but you know, sometimes there’s just no final answer to some of lifes questions.

  167. BigBangHunter says:

    – One thing I do know. When people are run through this sort of trauma, that only life can hand you, so unexpected, so final, if you have no god in your life to lean on I can’t imagine how hopeless and empty that must make you feel.

  168. Ernst Schreiber says:

I’m just spitballin. And while I remember being an angry young adolescent (and who amongst us with a pair of testicles wan’t angry about something at some point in high school?) And while I hung out with a crew of blue collar/newly white collar (i.e. our parents grew up blue collar, even if they were white collar) guys with a keen interest in firearms/hunting/militaria, and even though we all knew where the guns were stored, NOT ONE of us ever thought about pulling a Klebold/Harris*

*I do remember a rather clinical discussion (bullshit session would be more accurate) about how bringing a pistol instead of a shotgun to a school shooting was a stupid idea. But the point is, it was a nerdy hypothetical if you’re going to shoot up your school, do it right time waster, because actually taking a gun somewhere and shooting a bunch of people for the sake of taking a gun somewhere and shooting a bunch of people never entered our heads.

The 80s were blessedly naive like that I guess.

  169. palaeomerus says:

Yeah the fear was more that we’d shoot a .22 at some coke cans and find out that the haystacks weren’t stopping our rounds and that our bullets were going into someone’s pasture. Or that we’d drive carelessly and end up dead, addled, in pain for life, or an amputee.

There really was no “I’m going nuke my school so I can become infamous like that sick shit-head who climbed the UT tower and finally got taken out by a deputy” impulse for our young minds to control. We never felt any such motivation. Not go to school ? Sure. Break a window or mess up a mural? Maybe. Probably not. Toilet paper the foyer? Yeah, that was a thought. Throw globs of water soaked toilet paper at a wall? That happened. But burn the placer down? Shoot people? Pipe bombs? FUCK NO. Not even the Judas Priest/ Black Sabbath/Iron Maiden kids went there. I got out of high school in 1989. Sickos were just a distant concept. They were in movies like Heathers but nobody seriously worried about them being the guy next to you. Usually the ‘dangerous kids’, who tended to be mostly talk, were going to meet you by the bike rack and try to bloody your nose, kick you a few times and shove you around. They weren’t out to KILL you.

This +1000. I graduated HS in 1987, in rural Michigan. November 15 (the opening of firearm deer season) was a high holy day, with classrooms a bit depleted when it fell during the school week. I never imagined any of my rifle-equipped classmates trying to slaughter us. For my part, I brought a machete in for a classmate to sharpen (he did a hell of a job). I wasn’t worried he–or anyone else–was going to go choppity-chop on the sophomores with it.

Granted, I didn’t advertise the fact I brought it. The admin would have taken me to the woodshed, but I wouldn’t have been sent for a psychological screening, nor would the police have been called. My parents, yes, but not the police. Who would have been far scarier than the cops in any event.

At the risk of sounding like a socially-conservative pull-string doll: It’s the culture, stupid.

    We’ve come a long way since 1987–Down.

  171. […] Protein Wisdom also agrees that Brian Ross must go but earlier in the day I believe he had the quote of the day in a post about what to now expect from the left concerning gun laws after noting that the theater had 2 signs….one saying no guns allowed and one saying do not enter that were both breached by the gunman. Bold is mine My advice? Stock up on guns and ammo. And do not let them get away with the kind of post-Columbine crackdown on the Second Amendment they’re most certainly already planning to angle for. In fact, if some liberal shitheel who begins arguing that a spree kill in one of his promoted “gun free zones” is reason enough to take away guns from the non-spree killers, don’t even argue: just ask him if he can say with absolute certainty that this gunman didn’t in fact get his weapons from Eric Holder his own self. Like I said, I’m not sure where I’m going with this, but let’s just say that somebody’s superego is as tiny as his male member, and a lot of people got hurt in this attempt to compensate.

    Or something.

The short answer: we don’t know yet.

Someone mentioned Charles Whitman, the UT shooter from the 60’s. That’s really not fair to lump him in with these knuckleheads since at autopsy, Whitman was found to have a brain tumor that had profoundly altered his personality from conscientious Marine and loving husband, to killing machine. In his final note, left in the home where he’d murdered his wife, he asked that his brain be examined as he felt there was something terribly wrong with him.

Guys like Holmes likely have something wrong with their brain chemistry, which is rather ironic for him, since that was his field of endeavor. Since we don’t have access to his records from school growing up and only after-the-fact reports from acquaintances, we don’t yet have a full picture of who Holmes is.

He is 24 years old. If it is proven that he suffers from schizophrenia, he is at the prime age for an aggressive onset of that disease. His mother seems to have been twigged to the fact that there was something wrong with her boy. (I suspect that his parents rather feared him and were relieved when he left to attend school 1200 miles away from them. That is just speculation, though.) That dovetails with the general onset age of schizophrenic manifestation in males which is around the age of 18. If he has been untreated (unknown to us, so far) he has been living with his delusions/ideation for nearly six years or one quarter of his young life. He knows right from wrong, so an insanity defense is off the table. (Insanity is a legal term and not a medical term, btw.) He methodically planned this assualt. He doesn’t want to die and made sure to surrender to police and lawyer up right away. Likely, he thinks he is smarter than the police.

I can’t really answer your question to your satisfaction, Ernst, since I don’t have access to Holmes or his records. I’m leaning toward his having an organic brain disease such as schizophrenia until we can gather more information. Btw, I’m on the fence about how he will plead. We have a way to go until then, though, since he’ll have to be examined by Psychiatrists and perhaps hospitalized. I’m unfamiliar with the laws of Colorado so he may remain in jail rather than a hospital. At any rate, he isn’t going home or back to school to finish his doctorate. Ever.

  173. geoffb says:

The voice of the moderate Democrat in Colorado weighs in at the moderate Politico. It’s all the fault of those fringe gun-rights types.

I served as Democratic policy director for the Colorado Senate minority in 2003 — when the state legislature passed the gun law package that is now the law in Colorado.

These bills had been delayed since the 1999 Columbine shootings. But that notorious high school massacre had not really altered the laws’ provisions. The heart of the package was a concealed weapons bill that requires that sheriffs issue a concealed weapons permit to any applicant certified not a habitual drug or alcohol abuser; insane, or a felon. The law eliminated a sheriff’s personal discretion based on local custom or community safety concerns.

Out here in Colorado, the National Rifle Association is considered a left-wing Washington-based organization. Instead of this Eastern establishment group, gun owners look to the Rocky Mountain Gun Owner as their voice in the legislature and Congress.

A visit to the RMGO website today can give you a look inside the world of this influential gun group. Right now, readers see that the big concern is not the horrific massacre at the new Batman movie premiere last night in Aurora, Colo., but the United Nations conspiracy to control guns.

There is nothing about the mass shooting in a crowded midnight movie screening by a young man with an AK, shotgun and Gluck, wearing a gas mask, bullet-proof vest and neck and groin protectors.

If the RMGO were to weigh in, unfortunately, it would most likely be to advise moviegoers to bring an AK, gas mask and bullet proof vest of their own to the movies — to protect yourself and your family.

In Colorado, our gun laws were written to work for the RMGO and given the force of law by the Republican Party. Colorado’s 2003 gun bills passed because the Republican Party controlled both houses of the General Assembly and the governor’s office.

But if you now think that meaningful gun control can emerge in Colorado – you’re dreaming.

“AK”, “Gluck”, your tells are showing dude.

  180. serr8d says:

Yeah, many of those goat-fucking bastards named Brian Ross needs go from ABC, NBC, CBS &c., and quickly. But they won’t. Just as the liars who lied about Andrew Breitbart’s supposed hacking of Weiner’s account didn’t have to go or even apologize.

But he certainly slapped a few Brian Ross’s at that Weiner press conference, didn’t he? Good times!

How funny – glück means “luck”.

  195. leigh says:

Argh! There’s a former NYPD detective on teevee claiming that Holmes didn’t want to get caught, that he ran out of ammunition, that the cops disarmed him, he ordered all the body armour off the intertubes in the last couple of days…

Fucking cops, anyhow. This is really irresponsible to get out there and start speculating like that. Now he’s talking terrorism charges, like he’s suddenly a federal officer.

  196. leigh says:

Did the Ft. Hood shooter ever get charged with terrorism? Or are they treating the incident like a regular old gangland shooting that happened to happen on an Army base, involved Army personnel and a crazy guy screaming “Allahu Akbar!”?

Why are we not hearing about Nidal Hussein’s trial? This theatre shooting can’t possibly be this important to merit this kind of attention.

  197. Crawford says:

Not a word from my fellow reporters

Of course not. What Ross did was scoop them.

  198. BigBangHunter says:

    – One thing I find rather “interesting”. A Brian Ross was kneejerk quick to try to tie this guy to the Tea party, but not one news service has tried to determine what party Holmes belongs to. Strange.

  199. Pablo says:

Leigh, is that the black guy? He was on this AM calling the ar-15 a shotgun. Dipshit.

  200. bh says:

He was on this AM calling the ar-15 a shotgun.

How do you even make a mistake like that? Sometimes when people say something silly or dumb you can see what got twisted up in their mind but I’m at a loss here.

  201. leigh says:

No Pablo. This was an older white guy who was a retired detective. From his breath-taking lack of knowledge, I figured he worked auto theft (they never specified). Whatta dumb-ass.

  202. BigBangHunter says:

    – I found a link with a Brian Ross-like artical, and another link from there. Interesting.

  203. BigBangHunter says:

    – Heres another.

  204. BigBangHunter says:

    – Its certainly too early to start drawing any firm conclusions concerning Holmes, but heres a few things that peak the curiousity at least.

    * 24 yo college student
    * From an upscale Conservative family
    * Aquaintances say hes a loner
    * Drudge writes this version of the Batman series is the most Conservative yet with possible anti-Obama sub-text.
    * Shouts “I’m the Joker” before opening fire (eye witness accounts)
    * Tells police he’s the Joker when arrested.

    – A picture is starting to form here, and it doesn’t point to the Tea party.

    – The Lefturd media may have been trying to get out ahead of something they’re afraid of.

  205. BigBangHunter says:

    – If I had to guess I’d say hes probably another “Progressive Democrat with daddy issues”.

  206. BigBangHunter says:

    – But according to a Brian Ross, alleged child molester, that would just be crazy talk.

  207. leigh says:

If I had to guess I’d say hes probably another “Progressive Democrat with daddy issues”.

Bingo, as they say. Stir in what appears to be recreational drug usage on his AFF account and some out of whack brain chemistry and we have ourselves a self-styled anti-hero/spree killer.

  208. leigh says:

Since this story has been the only one on the news for going on 36 hours now, I finally listened to the interview with the plus-sized neighbor of Holmes who claims she went over to his apartment to bitch about his loud music and when she received no answer put her hand on the doorknob to let herself in and then thought better of it.

Who does that in real life? I have never in my 50+ years thought “Hmm, my new neighbor, whom I’ve never met, has his music turned up too loud. I think I’ll walk in at midnight and tell him to turn it down.” Dramatically told story about how “‘something’ told her not to open the door” notwithstanding, I am throwing the bullshit flag on that story.

  209. BigBangHunter says:

    – Yes, she must have read the accounts about how he set up his Ipad to play really loud, (assuming he’s been killed at the scene and could’nt get back to his apartment in time to cancel the loud music), which was designed to intentionally draw the po;ice who would then walk into his boobytrap when they broke in the door.

    – Her 15 seconds of fame.

  210. BigBangHunter says:

    – She was probably disapointed when they didn’t pay her for the interview.

  211. leigh says:

I notice there are at least two interviews with her. In one she is wearing eyeglasses, in the other she is not. Honey, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the glasses are not the problem. It’s that extra 50-60 pounds you’re hauling around on your kiester.

  212. BigBangHunter says:

    – Yeh, you nailed it Leigh. Shes a news hound. Nobody walks into someone elses apartment at midnight. You just don’t do that, even if you know the person well, and from all accounts this guy was a hermit. No friends, and stanbd offish.

    – I did see another interview where some dude said he had an encounter with Holmes in a bar Tuesday night. He said the guy sort of approached him and seemed to want to talk, and they talked about football and some general topics, but he said the guy seemed a little “over friendly” if anything. He said when he saw his face on tv he said “holy shit – that’s him….the guy in the bar the other night.”

  213. leigh says:

Fame whores. The guy’s in custody and has clammed up. People feel free to say whatever pops into their little brains. Sort of like the guy who claims he heard Holmes yell “I’m the Joker!” before he started blasting away. No one else heard this or has said so—yet.

I mean, c’mon. Dude is close enough to hear him yell (in a noisy movie theatre, yet) but he doesn’t get shot? Likewise, another guy has popped up who claims he saw Holmes “with a wild look in his eyes”. Sure, pal. The guy was wearing a gas mask. You saw his eyes? No. Just, no.

  214. Pablo says:

I mean, c’mon. Dude is close enough to hear him yell

    …through a gas mask.

  215. BigBangHunter says:

= Hard to say on either of those accounts Leigh. The one guy mau jabe encountered Holmes when he first entered the theater. Cops have said he entered the movie with a legit ticket in his normal clothes, then after the show started he walked out the exit door and either taped it open or propped it open, put on the body Armor and mask and brought the guns from his car nack in.

    – As far as hearing him he was standing right in front of thr first row very close to people. He started by spraying bullets into the ceiling and then befan shootin in a wide swath towatd the middle of the audience. s number og people in the forward rows escaped.

    – But those are things that will be establisjed over time as people give their accounts.

  216. leigh says:

    What Pablo said.

  217. BigBangHunter says:

    – I saw an interview with a guy he was friends with in high school. He said Holmes would always side with the bad guys in hero films they saw together, which he always thought was odd.

  218. B Moe says:

When the VT shooting happened some girl claimed to have been on the floor above the shooting. She said she could feel the heat from the gunfire with her feet through the floor, and that she ran to look down the stairwell but couldn’t see anything for all the smoke.

The networks put on the air as a credible witness.

  219. BigBangHunter says:

    – Well maybe that guy saw the police accounts about the Joker thing and decided to embellish.

  220. leigh says:

He said Holmes would always side with the bad guys in hero films they saw together, which he always thought was odd.

He claims he always thought it was odd. Why? Everybody roots for the charismatic bad guy(s). Look at all the movies about glamourous thieves and conmen. If this guy thought it was “odd”, he was one of those teenage kids with a stick up his ass.

  221. BigBangHunter says:

    – Meanwhile the judge has sealed all matters and documents concerning the case, even Holmes booking photo’s “in the interest of the public”. So nothing new will be forth coming, although they’ve moved into his apartment already acording to some sources.

  222. serr8d says:

I’ve termed the guy ‘Mr. Joker’. Takes away just a bit from the Left’s predilection to blame guns, redirects back to Hollyweird’s love affair with making money off films promoting gratuitous, guilt-and-consequence-free gun violence.

Because, two incidents, less than 13 miles apart; one had killers influenced by The Matrix; this one features a killer who’s brain squirms like Joker’s – but without the happy ending.

Oh, and his hair was dyed to match the Joker’s, so said the cops. If someone heard him scream that he’s the Joker, just maybe he did.

  223. serr8d says:

He said Holmes would always side with the bad guys in hero films they saw together

    …ruh roh… )

  224. BigBangHunter says:

    – Yes. Taken in isolation I would’nt tend to make to much of that. But in light of everything else thats been learned so far, it seems to fit a disturbed viewpoint of things.

  225. serr8d says:

    This. Have a kleenex handy.
