“Antarctic ice shelves not melting at all, new field data show”

Meh. That just means it melted really fast because of horrific and troubling global climate change, then re-froze just as fast, because of horrific and troubling global climate change.

We here at the UN Committee on Climate Science are as a result going to need lots of your money to study this sudden-melt/sudden-re-freeze phenomenon — and we’re going to require lots of changes in your behavior to prevent further occurrences of this kind of outrageous earth rape.  As citizens of the world, it is your duty to listen to what we say.

Hopefully from a resort in Hawaii.   Or maybe the South of France, depending on when we choose to hold our next conference on what your duty is going to be.

ok I cranked up the air conditioning and turned on my scentsy check now

Oh come on! It’s obvious the ice re-froze not because of horrific and troubling global climate change, but because of Obama! He told you he was going to heal the planet…

Yeh, but according to John Kerry since some azaleas bloomed early the science is settled and deniers are stupid.

The solution is known, it’s the problem that keeps changing.

But in Norfolk, Va., where officials are scrambling to fight more frequent flooding, sea level has jumped a total of 4.8 inches, the research showed. For Philadelphia, levels went up 3.7 inches, and in New York City, it was 2.8 inches.

Nothing to do except abandon those cities, I think.

Ernst wins this and every thread for the next ten years.

Well usually when ice breaks up and falls in the water it’s because it got pushed out over the water by ice BUILDING UP inland. Usually. But we have to save the earth from Captitalism and a powerful middle class and bring back serfdom so rich leftists can have the roads and national parks all to themselves.

That’s what kills me about that dramatic footage of glaciers calving into the ocean: it’s the result of glaciers advancing.

    Who doesn’t know that?

“We need extra funding to study the new and troubling phenomenon of inapparent warming. Presumably this is tied to the presence of observers; in the future we expect to gradually phase out the use of observation in the collection of climate data.”

Forget that. What about the fact if it gets warmer, polar bears and grizzlies will have overlapping ranges and may in fact interbreed to create some kind of SUPERBEAR?

The fact no one is concerned about this just shows that not enough money has been spent on publicizing–I mean, researching this possibility.

Shep Smith and everyone behind him in the IQ supply line.

    Now for my next trick…

Wanna see me instantly thaw and re-freeze the polar ice caps?

    Wanna see it again?

The IPCC reported that Antarctic ice is relatively stable. NASA gravity measurements have shown that East Antarctica is in relative balance.

  17. Zachriel says:

The article also seems to confuse ice sheet and ice shelf.

  18. TRHein says:

Zachriel, its even easier to debunk. There is water on the coast and it rises everyday – twice a day!
