“Is the U.S. economy losing jobs again?”

Yes.

And the private sector is doing really rather poorly.

I blame Bush. And racism.

and also Katrina. and climate change.

  4. cranky-d says:

Popcorn. It’s all about popcorn, fatties. Once we solve that problem, we’ll be ready to… solve some similar problems.

    For freedom!

  5. BigBangHunter says:

    – Or just maybe we’re looking in all the wrong places. As the reporter says in the closing scene of the original The Thing movie:

“….Look to the skies….just keep looking at the
    sky…..”

  6. Blake says:

I blame Sarah Palin. And Rush Limbaugh. And Glen Beck. And everyone slightly to the right of Mitch Daniels.

Above all, though, I blame Jeff Goldstein. After all, if you cannot blame an unhelpful visigoth who has poisoned political discourse, who can you blame?

  7. Jim in KC says:

You racists all know it’s because the stimulus wasn’t big enough. And because all those bidnessmen are hoarding their money to make The One look bad…

  8. Blake says:

At first I thought it said “Blows.”

  9. Squid says:

Wouldn’t be any less dignified, Blake.

  10. B Moe says:

Is he bowing or checking his junk out?

The overall look or view most voters get is through the media, and most of it is leftist…consequently, even though he’s awful, they are about 50-50 on Obamao. Once the message finally gets through, the tipping point will be when key players on the public’s “screen” go right, then, the Romney campaign will dominate. The economy will then improve once it’s looking like we’re finally rid of Barry and Moochelle.

  12. EBL says:

Rise of the party of the apes… And yes, it the GOP who are racists for not keeping Allen West in his place. I guess sort of how the Democrats did with Cory Booker.

  13. EBL says:

Don’t mention jobs. The media does not want to distract the voters.

  14. palaeomerus says:

I blame fat people, smokers, and hillbillies.

  15. palaeomerus says:

I also blame the corrupt corporate fat cats and the internal combustion engine.

  16. palaeomerus says:

    And food deserts.

  17. palaeomerus says:

Those Koch brothers guys didn’t exactly help things either…

  18. palaeomerus says:

I bet right to work laws share some of the blame too!

  19. leigh says:

    Cars with manual transmissions, too.

Well, shit. Let’s just go back to apes with opposable thumbs.

If the tipping point comes too soon, say late summer or early fall, the Obamas just might get to stick around for another term.

  25. Judging from what I’ve been looking at since the end of Q1, it looks like a double dip. I’d like to be surprised, but…

Let’s just say I’ve seen a couple of glitches in the matrix lately.
