Yes, but can the little dears carry placards with progressive messaging? Because that’s what really matters…

CNS News:

The $10,791 that Wisconsin taxpayers spent per pupil in its public elementary and secondary schools in fiscal year 2008 was more than any other state in the Midwest –- yet, two-thirds of eighth graders showed at best only a “partial mastery of prerequisite knowledge and skills that are fundamental for proficient work” at that grade level.

And?

I blame Hitleresque Republican governors who use democracy to rob of us our right to other people’s money (and free Viagra). And of course, Bush. And maybe Palin, too, if we can show she was in the area…

FOR THE CHILDREN!

Those 8th-graders know enough to work for public unions when they grow up. They don’t need to know how to do complex math. They just need to know how to make posters.

  2. cranky-d says:

Clearly they need to spend more money on the kids. That way they’ll do better in school. It’s a proven fact!

Constantly going off topic, so apologies. But the media is the young idealistic doctor to Obama’s incompetent, yet union-protected stiff. Obama meets with resistance, and says something completely idiotic off the cuff, and then he scurries to Dr. Media for an excuse note.

Why wouldn’t the idiot public workers do the same thing?

Early this evening, Wausau’s WAOW reported on its website: “The 14 Democratic Senators who fled the state are assumed to be just over the border in Harvard, Illinois.”

That report appears corroborated by the remark Senator Tim Carpenter made earlier in the day, when asked by an interviewer with Milwaukee’s TMJ4 where, exactly, in Illinois he was. Sen. Carpenter said: “Well, I can look out my window and see Wisconsin. But not the Soviet Union — just Wisconsin.”

Wherever two or more are gathered, there she is in their midst…

Don’t blame the teachers; they’re working with the offspring of chillbillies, and those chilldren just can’t be edumacated.

The proggies don’t need Palin to have been in the area to blame her; after all, they never let a little thing like the truth get in the way of a good narrative.

Can you imagine paying ten grand to get your car repaired, only to discover that it still breaks down 2-3 times a month? Can you imagine paying eleven grand the following year, because the mechanic says he’ll “really really try harder this time, honest!”

Squid, are you talking about Jaguars or Microsoft operating systems?

Wrote JHO in a duplicate post: “Government schooling = free daycare for them and time for you to earn your tax money. And they get free lunch.

  11. […] Now, leftists, defend collective bargaining in the context of a Wisconsin or an Indiana.  Defend thirty kids dosed with political correctness five days a week in a concrete institution.  Defend Teen Screen.  Defend the NEA.  Defend this.  And this. […]
