If he hadn’t been such a freaking douchebag:
Had the lobbyists not prevailed, Freeman would have assigned the intelligence analysts this week to figure out why the Chinese provoked a naval incident off their coast and what lessons we could draw from the mixed reactions of other nations.
Oh, the music of what doesn’t happen!
“Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter!”
Therefore op-ed columnist, pipe to me theories of no sense!
Still art thou employed, though thy fellows be
Untimely pitched from thine ivory tower–
Surrounded by moats and marbled minarets
Builded to appease the now advancing power!
But softly drops the memory of a cigarette,
Slowly smoked in this mine office of an olden hour:
Fled is that savor: do I wake, or do I dream?
“Had the lobbyists not prevailed, Freeman would have assigned the intelligence analysts this week to figure out why the Chinese provoked a naval incident off their coast and what lessons we could draw from the mixed reactions of other nations.”
Thank you, lobbyists!
I was inclined to give Dennis Blair the benefit of the doubt on the question of fitness for the job but after watching his performance in this Freeman affair I beginning to believe I was a mite hasty.
Jews! JEWS!! JOOOOOOOZZZZ!!!!
and another one under the bus,
and another one’s gone and another one’s gone,
another one’s under the bus. Yeah!
sign me up as an intelligence analyst! Even I can figure out what the Chinese are up to. No nuance here folks!
Remember the playground confrontation? one guy pushes the other to get a reaction; if the pushee doesn’t push back, tomorrow he’ll be giving up his lunch and/or his lunch money.
Real simple. Hasn’t anyone in Intelligence read Sun Tzu or Mao?
Part one of David Broder’s My Breakfasts with Fascists series.
hey/ broder
i’d point out the spinach in ur teeth
if i wasn’t laughing about the big shadow of death
about to….
these napkins are hefty
solid
where i come from
disconnect?
The fact that Chaz is a lobbyist for the Chinese and the Saudis, neverenters Broder’s head, huh
I’m astonished David Broder is even still alive, let alone allowed to operate anything with moving parts such as a computer terminal or typewriter.
Do they need a forklift to move him around these days?
No one besides anti-Semitic doucheknuckles can assign this task? Is Joe Biden busy?
Had the lobbyists not prevailed, Freeman would have assigned the intelligence analysts this week to figure out why the Chinese provoked a naval incident off their coast and what lessons we could draw from the mixed reactions of other nations.
Reading what Freeman has written in the past, wouldn’t it be more likely he’d be looking fot why the U.S.N. provoked the peace loving naval forces of the P.R.C.?
looking fot why
looking for why, at times my fingers go blind….
I’m not an analyst, but I’m pretty sure the pressing question on the Chinese side was “Do we kill anyone, or can we get enough data on this administration’s crisis behaviour by just being juvenile assholes?”
From here, looks like they went the JA route. I wonder how long it took the White House staff to change the carpet in the Situation room?
From Broder: “When I asked the White House on Tuesday if Obama supported Freeman, a National Security Council spokesman said he would check, but he never got back to me.”
Obamites in a nutshell.
I’m assuming John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt didn’t pass the vetting test for this post.
Hahaha, tgs.
