I didn’t spend six years in evil bureaucrat school to be called “mister,” thank you very much [Dan Collins]

Via Mike Hendrix, Ann Coulter:

HHS bureaucrats will soon be empowered to overrule your doctor. Doctors who don’t comply with the government’s treatment protocols will be fined. That’s right: Instead of your treatment being determined by your doctor, it will be settled on by some narcoleptic half-wit in Washington who couldn’t get a job in the private sector.

And a brand-new set of bureaucrats in the newly created office of “National Coordinator of Health Information Technology” will be empowered to cut off treatments that merely prolong life. Sorry, Mom and Pop, Big Brother said it’s time to go.

At every other workplace in the nation — even Wal-Mart! — workers are being laid off. But no one at any of the bloated government bureaucracies ever need fear receiving a pink slip. All 64,750 employees at the department of Health and Human Services are apparently absolutely crucial to the smooth functioning of the department.

With the stimulus bill, liberals plan to move unfirable government workers into every activity in America, where they will superintend all aspects of our lives.

Let the ad Houyhnhnms begin.

This is why it’s ironic to hear the lib-tards gloat about this “victory” or that “victory”. Hey fucktards, America lost! And since you live in…America (as far as I can tell), that means you lost too.

The apologies won’t be necessary or even accepted so don’t bother. Just vote these fuckers as far away from Washington as possible the next time.

By the time enough fools figure that out it is going to be a long, rough road back.

Will 60 Minutes be doing any stories about the 65 year old woman who is being denied treatment by the government? It bleeds.

  4. B Moe says:

Maybe if she is homeless, al, but I doubt it.

  5. alppuccino says:

Speaking of which, that lady who cried for Obama about not having a fridge, and then was given a house by the REPUBLICAN State Senator’s wife, has fallen off the news-radar. I mean, how is she doing, now that Obama didn’t get her any help?

  6. alppuccino says:

…except for the smooch, that is. That kiss on the cheek will see her through.

At $10,000,000,000,000 a year, they’d better darn be.

What I find sad is that they depend on people like that for votes. They want 51% of people to be sitting around begging for a government hand out in exchange for their votes. Never mind that womans life sucks 365 days a year and that if you give her something she will still be dependent on “help” from someone else. They want us all to be slaves like that, sitting around begging a politician for our daily bread. Fuckin sickening if you ask me. Too bad she is the face of the modern day Democrat voter.

The intersting part is that it will be the Boomers who will feel the brunt of this very, very, soon. Groovy, eh?

Um…correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t all medical treatment “prolong life”?

  12. memomachine says:

    Hmmmm.

I can tell you as someone with a nasty chronic illness and a long history of having to deal with a chronically incompetent Medicare … life is going to suck for everyone. Seriously. If this thing turns out as I think it will then this bureaucratic interference is going to rear itself at the absolute worst times imaginable.

Consider this: In the UK they recently tried to change the law so that organ donations were the default and in order to change this you would have to traverse a whole bureaucratic system to get that changed for yourself. With no guarantees that the hospital wouldn’t harvest your body anyways.

We will see this same issue come up here in the USA in the very near future.

Depends on where you are sitting.

I’d love to hear the trolls defend this shit.

Rusty, they don’t have to because “they won.” And even if they tried to do so, it would be something about Bush’s squandering of resources and undermining health care and then a little about Iraq and all the money spent there. I’d be happier if they’d simply state “we want socialism” though I will NEVER understand why that doctrine is appealing to the rank and file democrat. Sure, if you’re a legislator the more power the government has, the more power you have. But the ordinary every day working class democrat is going to be in the same health care boat that every republican is in. I live in Florida and all of the old new york jews who retire down here and vote straight democratic are going to regret every vote, when they can’t get the treatment they need.

I think the acceptance of this is a result of democratic propoganda over the years about how republicans are trying to take away governmental health care from the elderly and undermining social security. Republicans have been doing no such thing b/c it would simply be bad for republicans as equally as democrats. But with the 4th estate in the pocket of the democratic party, the same lack of vetting that got Obama elected will allow dems to pass legislation to socialize health care. I don’t think the average working class person thinks about stuff like “long term effects of socialism” and if they did, where would they go for the truth about in ineffective nature. Certainly not MSNBC and if the left has its way, the airwaves will be free from conservative viewpoints as well.

Well, hell, if you don’t own the products of your labor, what makes you think you own the pieces of your body?

I think you’ll find that about as operative as the First and Second, at least as far as the Obamatons are concerned.

They’d never do that! First, they’d have to admit there are still ice floes, and that would contradict their absolute faith in the Prophet Gore.

Early boomer, married to late boomer, who both hate the term boomer.
