Melanie Phillips: Britain Capitulates to Terror [Dan Collins]

Geert Wilders may be a bit of an ass, but is he a “security threat” to Britain?

The question I have is: Do you care, anymore? I do, because I’ve got friends and family over there. If I didn’t, I don’t know that I’d be any more upset about it than leftists really are about the genocide in Darfur, though.

Their name is . . .

The U.K. should change its name. Its brand doesn’t stand for what it used to.

It’s hard to swallow, because we still have to trust them as allies in the war and that is going to be getting near impossible to do as they further side with the enemy.

TNR didn’t get the memo that dissent is no longer patriotic.

    Check the logic:

…the Secretary of State is of the view that your presence in the UK would pose a genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat to one of the fundamental interests of society. The Secretary of State is satisfied that your statements about Muslims and their beliefs, as expressed in your film Fitna and elsewhere would threaten community harmony and therefore public security in the UK.

It’s shorthand for “You’ll piss off the Muslims and they’ll be a security problem”

I’m all for banning cantankerous old dutchmen… even as I plan to be one as I grow old.
Stubborn SOB’s bleeding from scabs on pre cancerous skin. They could give a shit about that too… rub some dirt on it and have another beer.
Try charging ’em for extra butter down at the bakery though and then they’ll care… fight you down to the last bushy nostril hair.
Speaking only for the uncles on my dad’s side of course… your dutch relatives may be perfectly even tempered..

This is only the British manifestation of the same tendencythat the Lightworker represents. The exact same forces of progessive politics are at work on both sides of the Atlantic. Our shlimils have just been around in power for longer.

There are some things I miss about mooking about in Africa. One of the big ones is that in a place like Chad, things might not be great, but on the other hand, you really don’t have the sense of impending doom that you might get elsewhere.
