To say that France’s social model is far from perfect is an understatement: in spite of the state absorbing more than 50% of GDP, France has suffered, since the 1980s, from rising child poverty rates, persistently high unemployment, a chronic sense of economic malaise, and the continual enrichment of the system’s “insiders” at the expense of the system’s “outsiders.” More importantly, France’s social model fails to deliver precisely what it proclaims to: economic justice, inter-generational fairness, economic opportunity and social protection, particularly to young workers entering the labor market, minorities, immigrants, middle-aged women and other vulnerable groups.
France TV 2 has lost a major court case in France that makes the lie to a major piece of Palestinian propaganda. In 2000 an incident occurred in the Palestinian areas that has since been used as propaganda for the Palestinian cause all across the world and the New York Times has repeatedly been a willing host for this propaganda. Now, however, it has been proven that France 2 perpetrated a lie that has given succor to terrorism. And where is the New York Times with this momentous news that proves Israeli innocence? Nowhere to be seen.
France 2 lied, people died.

- Just one more piece of inhumane rotten yellow journalism to throw on the pile, and yet more cause to detest the slime buckets that infest the old grey bitch.
- The question you have to ask yourself is do they hate Bush more than they give a damn about the Jews, or do they even give a fuck they’re trafficking in the worst sort of propaganda that can, and often does get innocent people killed.
