If they get all of the cast-offs of the Democratic Party in one place will there be a rip in the fabric of space-time, potentially ending all life as we know it? Or will the collapse just be like ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ and take down only the Democrats?
I gotta know because I got some printers on the line getting estimates for all the invitations to these guys to join Sen. Obama on a ‘Democratic Unity Bus Ride’.
Yes, but if it all slips away in a fold of the fabric of space-time, and we make sure the wicket key is safe, and there aren’t any unaccounted Krickit robots about…
Mr. Schwarz might have been proud of his “daisy ad,” but, I, for one, consider it to be one of the most downright disingenuous, and toxic, political ads to ever hit the airwaves. However we should also note that beneficiary of that ad, Lyndon Johnson, is now widely considered to have been a failure. Conversely, Barry Goldwater went on to a distinguished Senate career and is now much revered. Better yet, one could even say that Goldwater got a revenge of sorts against Schwarz’s ad (although “AuH20” too much of a class act to say as much) in the form of Ronald Reagan.

There’s a lot of road kill under that bus.

Dan and Karl:
I found this at American Thinker via American Digest.

Good judgement = hiring incompetents! I can’t wait for an Obama Presidency – Will Bigger pick Jan as his head of the State Department?

Dan:
Thanks for that link to the Schwartz piece. I didn’t know anything about him–what a fascinating man.
Ms. Doyle comes pre-impressed with bus tire tracks. Obama is hiring that exerience for future staff restructurings.
