Why we don't spaz out over early exit polls and returns [Karl]

The negativity of the Pennsylvania Democratic campaign tarnished both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, according to exit poll results.

However, Pennsylvania is on its way to the record turnout that election officials have been predicting for weeks, according to poll workers from across the state.

Because negative campaigning turns people off, you see.

Speaking of negative, anyone check out Ramesh at the corner lately?

He’s not happy with Derb or excitable Andy, and I think it’s pretty funny.

    Go Ponnuru!

    I hate negativity.

Yeah. It turns ’em off like a light switch. heehee

  4. If the running surveys are as wrong as they turned out to be in New Hampshire, then Bush can claim he’s within the media’s margin of error, and is therefore a popular president.

What does it mean that they called it at 5% you think?

  6. happyfeet says:

Oh. A lot cause of the Philly suburbs. Baracky kinda bit it there is what the NPR says. The still love him bunches though.

Sorry Karl, I know how bad you wanted Hillary.

How about you say some kind words about the O-man. It’ll make you feel better.

Driving through Delaware County into Philly proper tonight, every polling place had lines outside.

Phila. Flyers beat Washington Caps in overtime, win series.

  11. Cowboy says:

I’ll say this, thor, 92% of PA African Americans voted for Obama.

From now on, I’m voting by virtue of how white, tall, male, and bearded the candidate is.

Plus, bonus points if he wears pointy boots.

  12. Karl says:

See, people who spaz out over early exit polls and returns tend to leave dumb comments based on the notion that Obama was going to have an upset win. With 73% of the vote in HRC is +8, and it could go to +10, depending on how things go in the center of the state.

I’m turning Japanese to monkey wrench the pollsters.

    – Looks like something greater than 10% thor. Old saying in poker. Raise, bet high, and sleep in the streets. Oye’

    – 12.2% at the moment, and his fat part of the state is already pretty much accounted for. All it can do at this point is go higher.

    – I see PEW was perfectly wrong as usual. Someone should tell the Dems to hire a new PR firm. PEW just isn’t cutting it.

  16. thor says:

    Bring it, bitter white people.

Obama will win the nom, suck count on it.

  17. Big Bang Hunter (pumping you up) says:

    – Hey thor. I truly hope he does. Well after a prolonged cat fight all the way through a disastrous convention.

    – Then in the general he’ll get the chance to prove that Black Americans + the brain dead far Left does not a majority make.

    – After all we’ve already seen that at 92-97% Black voting rates for Obamaessiah, its been proven for all time there is no racism in the Democratic party. Uh huh.

    – Maybe in 2012 the Dimbulbs can run Lamont.
