Election 2008: Let's get ready to panderrrrrrr! [Karl]

All three presidential candidates are scheduled to make taped appearances on tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.  The Politico’s Ben Smith has the video.

First, I am shocked that Obama is not taking the opportunity to tell the approximately five million viewers that they are rubes who cling to pro wrestling because of bad US economic policy.  Second, this is clearly a misstep by all three candidates.  The WWE audience is used to seeing better fakers than this.

I would like to see the Undertaker smack the Tombstone Piledriver on Hilliarity…

  4. You know,I am tired of twisting in the wind waiting for a slow and painful death.

Why don’t we just all vote for Herr Obamaa and get this over with?

  5. “Hill-rod?!?!”

    Oh. My. Gawd.

I think I deviated my septum spewing Mountain Dew all across my monitor. LOL!

  6. The idea that there are people whose choice is going to be influenced by this, and the fact they are still allowed to vote, is fucking with my ability to properly see the humor in it I think. Gonna have to put off stopping drinking until tomorrow.

  7. Maybe they could all race in a NASCAR event next.

  8. First of all, rasslin’ is about real stuff and religion not so much.

If any of the three toads running for office had half of this guy’s charisma and sense of humor, they’d win going away.

Us Colorado rednecks are funny like that… ;)

Get me some more pork rinds, woman! NASCAR is on!

  10. $20 says Barry’s at a NASCAR race within 2 weeks.

The number of people who will think this is anything substantive is miniscule. At best, some might think it’s funny.

What pisses me off is I suspect these three and most politicians think they can reach the “great unwashed” in flyover country in this way.
