Before NY Gov-until-Monday Eliot Spitzer slinks off the media’s monitor, I want to note that ABC’s Brian Ross and Anna Schechter not only interviewed a 22-year-old escort found on another call-girl website, but also surfed thousands of online postings from young women of all types and races who offer themselves for “escort” and “tryst” services, most likely in pursuit of Spitzer’s elusive “Kristen.”  A dirty job, but someone had to do it. We can only salute these dedicated professionals.

By hunting for a tree, they missed the forest. And thus, missed the deeper story about how it’s now socially acceptable for a woman to be an internet whore. They’re advertising all over the place in plain view of anyone who surfs over.
I cannot tell you how depressing I find it that there are some women so hot that men will spend $5000 just for an hour with them.

JD- no, but overall I feel like people were more disgusted with Larry Craig than they are with Eliot Spitzer. The sex part of it, I mean. It makes me wonder how many guys are secretly saying, “oh yeah, I’d hit it if I could”.
I guess Ross and Schechter don’t have any internal affairs internet police to contend with at ABC. “I know that “tryst bareback greek Kristen” is a search phrase frowned upon by the company but we were just doing our job!”
The man paid $4,300.00 for some ditz with a prison X tatoo on here fuckin hand. I mean, I’da sent her back for the European model.

AND they’re paying (supposedly) for the discretion that it won’t be on the front page the next day. AND they’re paying for the ego-boo of knowing they can afford to pay that much.
(She’s attractive, but I have no idea what I’d do with the other 58 minutes in the hour.)
