Radar magazine’s “Fresh Intelligence” blog obtains expert advice on the Spitzer scandal from… former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss:
“It’s so easy not to not get caught,” reformed Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss tells Radar, adding that she provided service to many a well known politician her day. “I saw many famous peopleâ€â€more famous than Eliot Spitzerâ€â€and you know what, you pay people right, you treat them right, you don’t have a problem.”
Accordingly, Fleiss confidently hypothesizes as to why Spitzer got caught. Because of the hypocrisy, natch, but she also has a family-unfriendly explanation at the link.

Journalists are dumber than hookers, so Fleiss probably didn’t split the infinitive, and the reporter “fixed” it like that. Of course the copy editor didn’t fix that. The only enjoyable part of the job is leaving mistakes in text written by bitchy twits who complain when you do fix it, because they’re dumber than hookers.
