Well, TV Guide’s released its list of the “50 Greatest Shows of All Time,” and “The Red Hand Gang” (Matthew Laborteaux, James Bond III, Jolie Newman) didn’t make it.

Pity, that.

Some very astute choices on the TV Guide list — though I’m of the opinion that “All in the Family” should have finished number 1, and that “The X-Files” (on the basis of 6 incredibly strong seasons) should have finished much higher.

Letterman over Carson? Abso-freakin-lutely! Kudos to those who had the balls to give voice to such heresy.
