Elite Israeli troops were involved in a manhunt Sunday morning for wanted terrorists in the Qalandiyah refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.
According to the Itim news agency, at least 13 armed Palestinians have been arrested, and there have been heavy exchanges of fire. Palestinian sources told Itim that among those arrested, who belong to Hamas and Fatah, is Nasser Abu Hameid, one of the leaders of the Fatah military wing in the West Bank.
IDF soldiers are laying siege to one of the houses in the camp, in which they are convinced that several armed terrorists are hiding.
Always a bonus when the IDF finds armed Palestinian terrorists to arrest. Far too many of ’em lose those puppies when they pull the pin on their SuperDuper Semtex Peace Belts. Legs, too. And heads.
Handcuffs seem kinda silly at that point.
