Blogger was named alongside Google, Yahoo, Ebay, and Amazon, as one of The Seven Wonders of the Web by the UK’s Guardian Unlimited. Almost immediately, however, the Guardian has begun running articles calling on Blogger to “cease its cyber imperialism,” and to examine the “root causes” of the two recent hack attacks against it. As “the world’s sole weblog Superpower,” one Guardian pundit admonishes, “Blogger needs to re-evaluate the racist and hegemonic color scheme of its web portal, and to consider how its arrogant use of bandwidth around the world wide web is fostering hatred and resentment from those saddled with less fortunate binary streaming capabilities…”
