Following up on a report in The Telegraph that uranium was discovered in an al-Qaeda base in Afghanistan, but that the uranium was U-238, Alex Knapp at Heretical Ideas writes: if al-Qaeda’s uranium was U-238 then they got scammed, because U-238 is virtually non-radioactive.
