And it only gets better …
President Obama walked in late Sunday on a moment of silence being held by world leaders in Turkey to honor the victims of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris. […]
Mr. Obama walked in after they had begun, and took his place next to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
When the leaders began their working session, Mr. Obama said the Paris attacks show “there is a strong link between economy and security.”
In a reference to the Syrian refugee crisis, he said “society has not passed this exam with good grades.”
Heck of a job, Barry!
He’s just saying whatever demented shit happens to pop into his head now. Whatever Biden has, it’s catching.
We the taxpayers are paying somebody (probably several somebodies) whose sole job is to make sure Obama is not late for these types of things.
At the very least this gives the appearance of a deliberate insult, especially when you remember how Obama behaved after the last attack.
What a putz.
Is anybody really surprised?
If Obama were going to surprise anyone it would be by resigning to go fight ISIS in person, for real.
I’m so proud of our president.
And here I thought Jimmy was a lousy president. Sorry, Jimmy! I now know what “lousy president” really means.
We might want to stop with the “worst president ever” meme. Clearly this abyss has no bottom, so setting up a race to it is a bad idea.
You just know he did it on purpose. What a complete fucking asshole.
Fox News’s Bill Hemmer went-off on Barry after our Caesar described the Paris Attacks as a ‘setback’.

Good for Mr. Hemmer.
Since no-one seems to be able to find ClownDeceptor’s strategy, we might ask, a set-back to what? Well, try this. Many things can be explained with it.
His overarching goal still appears to be a fundamental transformation of America. I think the fundamental part refers to Islam.

I’ve been studying Leftist Thinking since I was a teenager — about forty years now — and I still can’t figure The Jarrett Junto out.
My theory until now has been that they seek to divide up the world, ala Nineteen Eighty-Four, with them as Oceania, Russia and Red China as a hybrid East- or Eur-asia, and Islam as the third power. But, as Sdferr and Michael Ledeen point out, it could be equally true that The Junto wants either, specifically, the Shia to win or whatever flavor of Islam can win.
What cannot be disputed is that, in but seven short years, The Jarrett Junto has nearly totally destroyed America’s position in the World as a Superpower. Quite an accomplishment if you think about it.
For instance, at this Summit he’s being, for all intents and purposes, ignored, treated like some weak sister nation who should be thankful to have been invited.
Without the English-Speaking Peoples leading the World, no one can enjoy any degree of Security.
Over at Paco’s joint, RebeccaH has a theory:

Nothing to do with Malcolm Little, but rather Star Trek, IYKWIM.
Even if every move is precalculated to achieve a definite objective, no one can ever get a handle on the overall agenda?
Agent of Chaos.
Seriously, has anyone ever seen Obama and Bernie Kopell in the same room?
ClownCatastrophe has aims. He just never speaks them aloud in full. There’s a good reason for that though. He knows (he has always known) his aims would be rejected instantly, therefore stealth is required. For instance, I just heard the blithering old fool John McCain declare that he has never heard ClownDisaster’s strategy articulated. The old moron thinks therefore that there is none. But this is nonsense, given the clear consistency of IWonPenPhone’s actions, actions which always result in gain to the Islamic Republic of Iran and loss to former American allies.
It’s shocking how few Americans are aware what ClownDeceptor is up to. And aren’t even a little curious. I mean, after all, it’s their lives he plays with. But hey, he says Iran will never get a nuclear bomb. And does everything to nullify his own words. Better yet, to invest Iran with a hegemony in the Middle East prior to their acquisition of nuclear weapons. Weird, right?
But what is Caesar’s main objective?
Does he wish to see The West come under the jackboot of Islam?
Or is my original theory about setting-up Totalitarian spheres of influence the end sought?
heh
The trick, and it’s a difficult trick I’ll grant, is to try seeing things as he does. What does that mean? It means operating with the same basis as any commonplace intentionalism would do. What does that mean? For starters, it means not putting his thoughts in other than self-regarding terms, as we well know he’s a famous self-regarder. This isn’t to say thinking through his thoughts as though they are absent of self-contradiction, no, that would be absurd. But it does mean thinking through his thoughts as though they were a source of genuine morality, since that’s what he believes. See where it gets tricky? Yep, very.
an aside: it’s a bit heartening to me to hear Limbaugh returning to the topic of the Obama-Iranian alliance by means of Walid Phares’ remarks yesterday. Limbaugh has a huge audience, and so can possibly bring the ideas Ledeen makes in obscurity to light. The danger, so far as I can tell, is that in the furor against ISIS (which is certainly proper) the primacy of Iranian hegemony to be defeated will be lost. To put this another way, serious strategists recognize that to defeat ISIS it is necessary to tackle Iran (and their immediate proxies, Assad, Hezbollah, Iraqi militias, etc.) well in the mix, if not first among things to be done. Phares gets this. To put it yet another way, compare the GDP of ISIS with that of Iran. Or, the number of Syrian civilians killed by Assad & co. with those killed by ISIS.
“Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
Or, chaos is an agenda.
Barry isn’t looking to see Iran harmed. That’s not chaotic. It’s ordered. Well, in it’s way. He is looking to punish or bring his justice (it’s god’s own justice) to wrongdoing America and its wrongdoing former allies. It’s good to award America’s former enemies with benefactions. It’s bad to award America’s former allies with anything but punishment.
Oh, and there goes Limbaugh with his crazy-talk again. Hopefully people are listening.
So…would I be wrong, SD, if I walked away with the conclusion that Messieur Soetoro is really not thinking far ahead – although he probably thinks he is a long-term strategic thinker?
If, as I believe we can warrantedly suppose, he was planning the emancipation of the Iranian regime long before he even decided to run for the Executive (i.e., before 2007), and has been implementing those plans since gaining office (after all, the Green revolt in Iran took place in summer 2009, and he knew instantly then how to aid the mullahs), then yes, he thinks ahead. Whether his plans will ultimately succeed, however, is a wooden-horse of another color. For instance, we’ve seen him vaunt that he defeated Bibi Netanyahu, calling Netanyahu a chicken-shit as he did so. Israel, on the other hand, has options not yet used. And gives no indication — quite the contrary — that their nation intends to die quietly and without a fight.
In another sense Bob, what is it I’m kinda complaining about here? That the Americans are generally unaware of the alliance that IWonPenPhone has constructed (in their name, no less). So, there too, and in Limbaugh’s epiphany just delivered (I knew ISIS was selling oil to Assad over a year ago, as well as working hand in hand with them against Assad’s more dangerous opponents, rarely if ever attacking ISIS with his armed forces directly), ClownDeceptor demonstrates a sort of strategic cunning, albeit a strategy aimed against his own people, who are nicely in the dark (from his point of view).
ValJar told O to help Iran. What sold it was when she — knowing him well — told him it would undermine every American ally in the Middle East. In short, it would smash that “new world order” we once called Pax Americana.
Seriously, guys. Stop overthinking it. Obama is a destroyer. It is his agenda, every decision he’s made (especially where he’s decided not to decide) has furthered it in some way.
It’s always easier to destroy than to build. You get results a lot faster, and you can let somebody else worry about what does get built afterward.
Maybe someone else has a blueprint, a plan for what to build after they helped O destroy — but they would have been expecting him to lay a groundwork for them.
Remember how the Kaiser’s agents sent Lenin to Russia to get that country out of WW1? They weren’t Communists. They had no interest in what happened to Russia afterward, and their war objective was achieved. Too bad for them, they lost the war.
In this instance, if Obama was sent — “We ain’t interested in nobody that nobody sent.” — they were interested in what came after, which would be why who they sent, isn’t.
So that I understand, overthinking it (whatever it is) does not mean acceding to demands that the United States partner up with the Iran-Russia-Assad axis against ISIS as those demands inevitably roll in during the next few weeks? Yes? That rather, not overthinking it (whatever it is) means going our own way, contra whatever proposals ClownDisaster cooks up to “appease” the warmongering shouts of the paranoid islamophobics (those are of course his terms, not mine) seething at ISIS ISIS ISIS while ignoring the far more dangerous though less flashy murderers in the IRGC and Quds force? Yes?
Some people just need to see the world burn as revenge for being born.
Pardon the unavoidable repitition in the mash-up.
By every means, don’t read this.

>About the Declaration there is a finality that is exceedingly restful. It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day, and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern. But that reasoning can not be applied to this great charter. If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people. Those who wish to proceed in that direction can not lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers. <
