You are not allowed to make a woman feel bad, especially about something she has done.

  3. “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

    Martin Luther King, Jr.

“I have a dream [delusion] that I should be judged by the color of my skin.”

    Rachel Dolezal

“…that I should be judged by what I say is the color of my skin.”

    FTFY.

The Commiecrats have created a Victimology Caste System. Why am I not surprised someone else figured out how to game it, besides Lizzy Warren?

    RAMIREZ TO THE RESCUE!

Also, is it wrong of me to be dismayed by the number of starboard-side Tweeters who are using the Charleston Massacre to Make A Point about concealed-carry or sitting ducks and the like?

Because there are an AWFUL lot of them, and from where I stand they’re no different from those on the Left who use these same events to call for stricter gun controls.

  10. bgbear says:

I agree Di, is not needed at this time unless you really feel the need to argue with someone calling for gun control.

I wish people would understand guns and shooters a little better. Guns are not magic. A lone gunman like this can be over whelmed. No need to be a hero and rush him as he re-loads but, at least start throwing stuff at him. Bibles, hymn books, purses, keys, etc.

  11. LBascom says:

“they’re no different from those on the Left who use these same events to call for stricter gun controls.”

Let me help you with those blinders.

The left uses such events as a pretext to remove the liberty of freemen (aka, never let a crisis go to waste)

The right resists attacks on liberty. Always has, always should, hopefully always will.

    Clear that up for you?

The patriots are learning to be proactive. This is not a bad thing…..

  13. dicentra says:

“A lone gunman like this can be overwhelmed.”

I’d rather that point not be made at all. That’s tantamount to saying they got shot because they were too stupid or cowardly to defend themselves.

In the absence of actual footage or a scientific recreation of the events, we really cannot pronounce on what they were up against. Even if it were technically possible for them to stop that guy, let’s save such observations for tactical training scenarios.

The Port side of Twitter is making an interesting but wrong point: that if the shooter is black, he’s a “thug” or “gangsta,” if he’s Muslim he’s a “terrorist,” and if he’s white he’s a psycho loner who’s mentally unstable.

As if it were a problem of biased labeling. (They’re also using “terrorism” to describe degree of heinousness, not motive and method.) As if the descriptor of the white guy excused “white privilege” too much.

HOWEVER. The phenomena of lone-wolf mass-shooters (and serial killers) is pretty much a White Boy Thang. Statistically, it’s highly unlikely that black, Latino, Muslim, or other minorities do this stuff.

When a black kid shoots someone, it’s likely gang-related. When a Muslim shoots someone, it’s likely Jihad-related.

    Social reasons, not genetic.

I reckon that it’s a lot easier for a socially isolated white kid to sit in his parents basement, stewing in his own juices, plotting revenge against the world.

A black kid is less likely to be socially isolated in that same manner. Black (and Latino) folks tend to be more gregarious, especially in black-dominated neighborhoods, where everyone knows everyone. Being around other people, even if you’re just hanging out on the stoop, makes it harder to climb into the crazy tree and stay there. You’ve got someone to hear your grievances and sympathize with you. And if you start climbing the crazy tree, they smack you out of it and keep you grounded.

Muslim kids are also more likely to be socially connected. Unfortunately, their social connections also lead to jihadi recruiting, just as black and Latino societies have the gangsta threat.

Nope. Psycho loners who plot revenge against the world are almost exclusively a “white culture” thing. Constituting around 80% of the population also means it’s easier to get lost in the crowd.

    REALLY lost.

  14. dicentra says:

    I’d hardly call that “proactive.”

Unless you’re going to say that “it’s OK when we do it.”

If you’re going to uphold a standard, better not make it a double.

  15. dicentra says:

    Clear that up for you?

Exploiting a massacre for ANY POLITICAL POINT is tasteless and crass, no matter how lofty you imagine your motives to be.

We can’t wait until after the funerals? Not letting a crisis go to waste is only wrong when they do it?

    Come on.

If you can’t help but Get Political in the wake of a massacre, stay off social media. All you’re doing is ramp it up.

  16. Curmudgeon says:

And this statement right here kind of explains why the Left is so often able to beat Conservatives/libertarians/classical liberals. The Left views every, and I do mean *every*, tragedy as a way to push their political agenda.

We tend to take personal responsibility for our own actions and thus expect others to do the same. The Left does not think this way. They openly make excuses for the horrific crimes done by members of their protected groups. They might condemn the action but they always find some way to turn the criminals actions toward forwarding some part of their agenda or the Left’s chosen narrative.

We must take a lesson from the Left on this, to fight back if nothing else. If we don’t, we will continue to lose our rights as citizens.

I hope that was clear. I am not always the best at clearly expressing exactly what I am trying to say.

  17. LBascom says:

So when every lefty that can find a microphone, including the president, starts pushing more gun laws we shouldn’t answer.

I think there’s an old saying along those lines and evil triumphing…

  18. LBascom says:

What you call exploiting a tragedy I call defending liberty.

Your awesome superior goodness is duly noted.

  19. Curmudgeon says:

Or, in short, A Tale Of Two Reactions:

Us: Oh how awful; I wish it werent true.

The Left: Great! Now let’s politicize it!

With the left, EVERYTHING is politicized. I have no qualms about using ANY tactic against them. Nothing will be out of bounds. Nothing over the top. Nothing too tasteless or crass.

They have no limits of decency, and so I don’t feel good about myself for acting as if I’m better them, I feel like a fool for kidding myself that it is otherwise. And I see those who would advocate better behavior than the left as a moral victory as the worst fools.

It is time to fight fire with fire….

  20. Curmudgeon says:

    better than them, ugh typos.

  21. Drumwaster says:

When Obama came out to give him non-statement statement, one of the things he did touch on was the need for more gun control, and that subject has already been brought forward by the various talking heads. I’m waiting until the reports come out showing how this person got the gun in the first place.

Any word on whether the laws in South Carolina declare churches as gun free zones? (It’s usually churches, schools and government offices.)

  22. LBascom says:

I saw somewhere the gun was a birthday present.

You know who I think had an awful reaction to this horrific act was Ace Shame?

There’s something not right with that boy…

  23. bgbear says:

There have been several Asian mass shooters so not a “white culture” exclusive.

You’re right I don’t know the scenario in this case but, if you have time to plead “don’t shoot, there is time to react. He reloaded several times. That is all I am saying.

I have had guns pointed at me and felt helpless but, it was a gauntlet of SWAT deputies with AR-15s against just me (overly cautious sheriff, I had not done anything).

  24. Ernst Schreiber says:

Seems to me the best response for the pro-right-to-self-defense side is “fuck off, ghouls” That works proactively as well.

  25. Ernst Schreiber says:

The Left views every, and I do mean *every*, tragedy as a way to push their political agenda.
We [on the Right] tend to take personal responsibility for our own actions and thus expect others to do the same. The Left does not think this way. They openly make excuses for the horrific crimes done by members of their protected groups. They might condemn the action but they always find some way to turn the criminals actions toward forwarding some part of their agenda or the Left’s chosen narrative.

The right way to fight back is to find those examples of armed self-defense and celebrate them the way the Left celebrates gun crime.

  26. LBascom says:

Sure Ernst. Good luck getting the Kardashions to do that

Every month for as long as I remember the NRA has published “the armed citizen”, accounts of self defense using guns. I pretty sure the number I heard years ago was above one million per year of such accounts.

It would be cool if a prominent cable station did a series. Maybe call it “the Pre-Forensic files”.

  27. Ernst Schreiber says:

Fuck the Kardashians. And fuck waiting for a cable station to do it, un;ess the NRA has it’s own cable network. Righteous use of firearms never gets covered in the mainstream media. By design. So what’s going to have to happen is somebody is going to have to organize some people, raise some money, and then make a Big Fucking Deal out of the next guy/gal who drops a bad guy looking to run up a score.

And if it’s in a school/mall/church/library or other so-called “safe place,” then so much the better.

  28. LBascom says:

The trick is to get the uncorrupted message widely distributed without prejudice. This is a problem. Because of the widely distributed thing being controlled by the ruling elite towards ideological ends.

  29. bgbear says:

ID channel might do it. They are fair to cops, tough on bad guys, and won’t shy away because of the race of the perp.
