My wife and I went to France on our honeymoon and spent several days in Normandy. I spent two hours on Omaha Beach and another two hours in the American Cemetery. Truly moving places.
While my father served during WWII, he was not part of this operation. He was in the north Atlantic onboard a destroyer, escorting transport ships from the U.S. to England late in the war.
It won’t be long before those men are forgotten completely. Their sacrifices are nearly forgotten as it is. That is a large part of our downfall and eventual dissolution as a bastion of liberty.
This nation could only survive with the majority being a virtuous people. That is no longer the case.
Thanks, Darleen.

I wasn’t going to watch it, but I finally did. I do not want to know anyone who wouldn’t be moved by this.
Thanks for posting that Darleen!
