CA AG Kamala Harris’s aide arrested for running fake police force [Darleen Click]

Bizarre, indeed.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Capt. Roosevelt Johnson thought it was odd when three people — two of them dressed in police uniforms he didn’t recognize — strolled into the Santa Clarita station in February.

One man introduced himself as chief of the Masonic Fraternal Police Department and told Johnson this was a courtesy call to let him know the agency was setting up shop in the area.

They met for 45 minutes, Johnson said, but he was left confused and suspicious — so much so that he immediately ordered deputies to pull station surveillance video so they would have images of the visitors. He also assigned detectives to check them out.

“It was an odd meeting,” the captain recalled. “It just raised my suspicion level.”

This week, the three people were charged with impersonating police officers. They are David Henry, who told Johnson he was the police chief, Tonette Hayes and Brandon Kiel, an aide to state Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris.

It turns out Henry, Hayes and Kiel had allegedly introduced themselves to police agencies across the state, though it is unclear why. A website claiming to represent their force cites connections to the Knights Templars that they say go back 3,000 years. The site also said that the department had jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico.

“When asked what is the difference between the Masonic Fraternal Police Department and other police departments, the answer is simple for us. We were here first!” the website said.

Now, consider for one moment what would happen if Harris were a white Republican and her aid was passed himself off as the general of a militia movement.

Yeah.

But she’s not, so she’ll probably still end up taking Barbara Boxer’s seat.

Apparently there were Crusaders before there was the Cross.

That typo- and grammatical error-filled website has yet another error: they confused the founding date of the Knights Templar. Instead of claiming the accurate date of 1100 AD, they asserted one of 1100 BC.

I have GOT to get the frimp out of California…

  3. This is all BS! How do I know? I just spoke with the Illuminati and…oops!….forget…forget I even spoke.

So there is the Mexican Knights Templar Cartel and the California Knights Templar Masonic Fraternal Police Department. All bases are covered. Now if they would just work to fight their traditional enemy.

California, where everyone can live their own script. Reality be damned.

I’m pretty sure that badge is blasphemous. In the space between the compass and the square is where there is a capital “G” for God.

I’d like to know if somebody actually asked the grand lodge offices in San Francisco (the mainline guys) and in LA (the Prince Hall (historically-black) guys) if they’re involved in this just to hear them utter some variation on “What the actual [bleep]?”.

Seriously, these guys are nuttier than squirrel poo and squirrellier than Gere poo.

“The police are the public and the public are the police; the police being only members of the public who are paid to give full time attention to duties which are incumbent on every citizen in the interests of community welfare and existence.”

[I don’t think this is what Peel meant!]

One of the reasons police have adopted a rank structure is that its role is one of the original purposes of a militia.

The Texas Rangers started out as soldiers, not detectives.

If I dressed up as a cop, I do not think I could keep a straight face. A friend of my wife’s who we both used to work with apparently dabbled in cop impersonating, had a crown vic. I warned her he was “off” some how.

I think I mentioned here before that I would rather have R senator from CA but, we would be better off with Harris in DC than here in CA. The worst she can do from DC is vote like Boxer. She is much more dangerous here.

  11. bgbear says:

I should also throw out my theory that SF Bay area people like Harris get elected statewide because LA folks vote for them.

LA people generally seem to know too much about their local politicians to want them in state office but, think that Bay area politicians must be OK. This ignorance can explains how Newsome, Harris, Boxer, Feinstein can get elected to state office despite their short comings.

Willie Brown’s ex-squeeze and the worst DA SF ever had. No small accomplishment.
