Obama claims it is easier to buy a gun than a vegetable [Darleen Click]

As if I have to go through a background check and a three-day wait when buying a bunch of broccoli at Stater Bros.

Citing his failure to pass stricter gun laws in 2013, President Obama used dramatic language to discuss the gun debate on Friday.

“It is hard to reduce the easy availability of guns,” Obama complained during a town hall meeting at South Carolina’s Benedict College.

“As long as you can go on into some neighborhoods, and it’s easier for you to buy a firearm than it is for you to buy a book, there are neighborhoods where it’s easier for you to buy a handgun and clips than it is for you to buy a fresh vegetable,” Obama continued. “As long as that’s the case, we’re going to continue to see unnecessary violence.”

“Despite the failure of Congress to act, despite the failure of too many state legislators to act, in fact, in some place it is goes in the opposite direction,” he said, asserting that some gun rights supporters believe “we should have firearms in kindergarten and we should have machine guns and you know in bars.”

Yeah, we really dodged a bullet when we failed to elect that stupid, gaffe-prone, snowbilly Palin.

  2. Dana says:

Of course, the example he gave was of people selling guns illegally. Is he really stupid enough to believe that criminals who are breaking gun laws now would somehow stop if stricter gun control laws were passed?

Who’s to say the violence isn’t necessary? Why is he trying to deprive the gangbangers of their culture?

He’s stupid enough, he’s incompetent enough, and gosh darn it, people despise him.

How would a vegetable like PresidentIVotePresentAndWonPenPhone know of the ease of obtaining guns? Hell, vegetables don’t think, and this is why Michelle loves them so.

“Obama claims it is easier to buy a gun than a vegetable”

This explains how Michelle found it impossible to buy fruit for their Chicago home while only making $300,000 a year at a no-show job. It’s a wonder the kids weren’t taken away by CPS for neglect.

If you buy a potato gun does that cover both?

    Greetings:

I grew up in the Bronx of the ’50s and ’60s. Back there and then, the Sullivan Law governed the legal acquisition of handguns. What it all boiled down to was if you weren’t politically, connected, a retired police officer, or owned a cash business, who had virtually no chance of getting a permit.

Alternatively, in our working and lower middle class neighborhood, under-the-counter handguns were obtainable within several days and specific models within a couple of weeks.

And in honor of “Women’s Day”, how’s about you lighten the hell up with that broccoli stuff.
