“Feinstein: Republicans’ Select Committee on Benghazi Is a ‘Lynch Mob’”

Jesus. We can only hope:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) defended her committee’s oversight of the CIA on Sunday, but at the same time, she called the House select committee on Benghazi a “lynch mob.”

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Feinstein told CNN’s “State of the Union” with Candy Crowley. “I think it’s a hunting mission for a lynch mob, actually. I think that’s what’s going on.”

Feinstein says she believes all questions about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath have been answered “to the satisfaction of the Intelligence Committee,” which she chairs.

Oh, is that so?  How about to the satisfaction of the victims’ families?  Or to the satisfaction of the American people, who wonder why several weeks after they knew the real cause of the attack, the State Dept and President were still peddling a story about an internet video — and who would really like to know what the President knew, when he knew it, what steps he took, and even where the hell he was the entire time this was going down.

As for Feinstein’s comments about this being a “lynch mob,” well, that’s just your typically historical racist Democrat lapsing into old habits.  Forgive them. They just can’t help themselves.

Feinstein’s simplicity — do I go so far as to suggest she is a moron or mental midget? Hell yeah I do, which is precisely why she holds that chair — only makes us think how puny, how inconsequential are the material needs for satisfaction required by her and her’s. Something like a single-dip vanilla ice-cream cone, for instance.

  2. Squid says:

To be fair, it’s not just an ice cream cone. She also requires the subjugation of the American people, so that we may live in an “appropriate” manner.

For our own good, of course.

  3. proudvastrightwingconspirator says:

    At least she didn’t say:
“Dude, that was like, 2 years ago.”
    or
“What, at this point, does it matter?”

But DiFi has joined the Democrat CYA chorus.

If she was really upset about the Benghazi Hearings, she’d release a hashtag selfie on her FaceBook page saying: #bogushearingsmuststop

THEN we’d know she was actually serious…..

  4. sdferr says:

Ok, how about an overlong ride on a very short bus, if not an ice-cream cone?

  5. McGehee says:

But DiFi has joined the Democrat CYA chorus.

She did that upon inheriting the mayorship of San Francisco. It’s why she was able to get elected to the Senate, and why she chairs a committee — Senate Intelligence — for which she is unqualified in every sense of the word.

Or would be, if the committee’s name weren’t such a blatant oxymoron.

  6. John Bradley says:

Bear in mind that she only has to be smarter than Barbera Boxer to be considered “the smart one”.

  7. geoffb says:

Smarter and taller is not a high bar to jump over with Boxer.

  8. Merovign says:

I think it has more to do with the fact that she lies constantly. That would explain it.

  9. 11B40 says:

    Greetings:

Wasn’t it Senatress Feinstein who first said, “You can take my Senate seat when you pry it from my cold, dead ass.” ???

  10. sdferr says:

So here we have an example of a bona fide mob at work, led by none other than Sen. Harry Reid and former speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Not a lynch-mob, to be sure, but a fine indication of “lawless does as lawless is”.

    – So when all else is sliding down the piss hole thats Washington these days and your hubby is about as isolated and useless as its possible to be, whats a poor Fascist to do?

    – Why set Americas children against their parents of course!

    – I cannot wait until this anal-retentive Progressive Commie bitch is packed off to Hawaii for good.

  12. BigBangHunter says:

    – Yeah, and unemployment is 6.4% don’t cha know. I loath these people more than I could put into words.

    – If theres a hell and any justice in the universe theres a special place just for Carney and the Choom gang down there.

difi be good at the "race card". senator/kleagle "white nigger" byrd is proud.
    you go grrl.

  14. palaeomerus says:

The resistance to a Benghazi investigation shows how little regard the left actually has for ‘speaking truth to power’. They only ever believed in speaking leftist truth to non leftist power.

  15. BigBangHunter says:

“Leftist truth” has to be a world class oxymoron.

  16. Ernst Schreiber says:

I just saw the most incredible documentary I’ve ever seen on PBS. I know a couple of High Screwel history teacher I’d like to send it to.

That it was on PBS is what was hard to credit. I totally believe the documentary.

(And do note the pile of corpses New Soviet Man and New Soviet Woman stand upon.)

  17. sdferr says:

Isn’t that the documentary that made great use of Faure’s Requiem Sanctus movement, Ernst?

  18. newrouter says:

a trailer let us see the actual film

  19. geoffb says:

I’m surprised it ran on PBS. Dicentra had a comment about the film here. Aned earlier I posted a link to a Youtube version which sdferr sent me here.

I’ll have to check to see if it will be re-run on PBS.

  20. sdferr says:

Speaking of documentaries, have you seen that story of the Ukrainian cave dweller Jews yet, and if so, were you as impressed as I was by it’s humanity?

  21. Ernst Schreiber says:

My copy of Faure’s Requiem is buried at the moment, but yeah, the music was familiar.

The PBS airing was cut down from 85 minutes to whatever it is PBS sticks into an hour long segment after it’s aired it’s commercials sponsor promotions.

PBS edited out all the Soviet Gulag stuff mentioned on the about the film page, so they could concentrate on the Soviet Nazi collaboration stuff.

Probably because in PBS’s eyes the Soviets helping the Nazis was their only mistake. Except maybe starving the Ukraine so they could export grain, which was undoubtedly a capitalistic betrayal of socialist principle.

That I find all too credible.

  22. Ernst Schreiber says:

Behind Closed Doors is another pretty good documentary that somehow found it’s way onto PBS.

  23. geoffb says:

Even abbreviated, my local PBS stations don’t show any listing for that movie in the next two weeks. So I’ll just have to stick with my youtube version.
